Quality food at reasonable prices

I must say I could not fault the staff. We were a group of 17 people and they all couldn't do enough for us! Nothing was too much trouble. Considering we were a large group all our starters and main courses came out all the same time and each course was hot! Highly recommend and thank you very much x

Had another lovely experience with Grandsons at the Bryn. Food was tasty and the desserts delicious. Service excellent. Using the app the free woowoo was a bonus. Good value and ticks the boxes for teenagers. Great parking.

Came here last week for the quiz, was great also had fish and chips were lovely, staff were friendly and really enjoyed the quiz with friends

Came here earlier for a meal with my family. All staff were friendly especially the young girl who served us. She was very pleasant and couldn’t do enough for us. Food was delicious, would definitely recommend.

We had a family get together there were approx 20 of us and we all enjoyed our food. We ordered as we got there. Service was good, staff were friendly. Lovely pub.

Cold cips, overcooked steak, missing items on multipe dishes. Hunters chicken had a slight drop of BBQ sauce, stingy place

The welcome was nice upon arrival however everything else was disappointing, we booked a table for 12 o clock, Myself my husband and my son. Pub was quiet so this can’t be blamed on it being “busy” Ordered 2 mixed grills and a child’s meal, the chicken on my mixed grill was like chewing on rubber, the steak was like an old boot, and the child’s meal I wouldn’t have served to my dog, all the meals were wasted. No checkback done so we didn’t get the option to let anyone know. Upon leaving my husband approached the bar and spoke to a lad I believe was called Lewis, my husband explained no one had checked back and that the meals were awful, he continued to mess about on his mobile phone, didn’t even raise his head to look at us and said “ok” and then walked away. Don’t know whether this lad was front of house or kitchen staff, either way he should be competent enough to apologise and direct us to the appropriate member of staff to deal with our complaint. This place used to serve lovely food, unfortunately this is the 3rd time Iv been in the past few months and the food has been awful every time. We won’t be returning!

Great food and drinks inside was welcoming and had a great atmosphere .we had fish and chips and the gammon and some cocktails which were a great deal

My self and my partner had hunters chicken both were over cooked, our drinks arrived half way through the meal

Went for a meal Saturday evening for Works Xmas do and also took my son( Paid for his Meal separately at beginning of evening) then told by Bar staff I hadn't paid for meal as we were leaving the pub. What a farce. Xmas meal spoilt by this insistance from Bartender, even though I had paid at start of Meal. Xmas meal was nothing Special ( more like a Children's Portion).

My boyfriend and i visited the bryncoch inn for dinner,had salad,steak and added halloumi,was deliscious,my boyfriend had the boss burger which he thoroughly enjoyed,drinks were very refreshing

Really good value for money. Brilliant service on Wednesday 31st May when I came in for food. Was served by Sophie and had a lovely chat with Sam when she brought out my food. 5 stars as they were very accommodating and friendly.

Had the house salad with hallumi and rump steak added to it, the steak was cooked perfectly and the salad looked beautiful and bright. The chefs did an amazing job, especially Rhys who cooked my entire meal. Lovely people, great team and gorgeous building.

Decided to go to the Bryncoch as we haven’t been for such a long time, it didn’t disappoint, food was piping hot, plentiful & very tasty, good price too, welcomed by our waitress, Sam, who remembered us from a previous visit, nice to chat to a fellow brummie!! Will have to go more often, thank you Sam for a really enjoyable lunch!!

I have been coming to the bryncoch inn for many years. Before the remodel, it was a lovely, well run establishment, however I had recently come for a meal with some friends, and the main thing that was letting them down was the service. Countless times there was miscommunication with the order, where the starters were coming out at a staggered rate rather than all together. The same happened with the mains, which meant that some of my friends were getting their main meals before they had finished their starters, with some having to wait a prolonged period of time before receiving their main meal. Which then seeped into an issue with the desserts where the same happened, desserts were coming out before mains were finished, and others had to then wait much longer to get their desserts. When we voiced our concerns about the staggered courses and lack of timelines in getting the meals out at the same time. The staff did not seem to care and sort of scoff at myself and my friends when asking for spoons that should have come out with our desserts, or a concern with the modifications that we made to a meal (in this case my friend wanted cheese with their burger and the staff member, like I said, did not seem to care or actually acknowledge the issue, even though it was small. Since the remodel, I can feel a difference in the overall atmosphere and quality of service. I won’t be returning.

We booked last minute for 11 people for a birthday celebration. The food was great and the service was fantastic. Food was served quickly and all arrived at the sane time. Good value, couldn't fault it. Thanks for a great evening 👍

Lovely food and amazing vibes , cheap overall average price but good quality for what your paying , we had Curtis as our server and he was having a good laugh with us and really gave good banter with is highly reccomend this local pub.

Not a good time 4 of us booked and reserved a table and it was given to someone else one of us had the wrong main my dessert was rock solid frozen my spoon bent trying to eat so I sent back only to be given a cheap squirty cream sundae cheesecake not a mousse I ordered will not be going back we all agreed, we were two pensioners and older women looking forwards to our get to gethers we eat out about once a month would not recommend .

I've been here twice in the last few months when I've visited the area from Gloucestershire. The food has been excellent. I had a mixed grill both times and was very happy.

Jest been up for my sons Andrew Palmer 40th birthday fantastic atmosphere amazing food and the 3 men that served us are a credit to your company they couldn't do anough for us we left a tip behind bar for them I'd recommend the Bryncoch Inn I'm so fussy with food but you went above and beyond to satisfy us all

I would just about give this restaurant a 1 star to be honest with you. Me and my partner have been returning customers a few times for delivery based orders even though a few times there have been missing items to our orders, we have continued to order and let it go. But yesterday was the last time we will ever order again! My partner was missing the burger to his meal. So paid over £10 for some chips!. Tried to resolve this issue by phoning the restaurant, no answer. Phoned at least 20 times between the two of us and then my partner left an answer phone message to which 24hrs later still no response. Shocking customer service! Would not recommend this restaurant to anyone, going forward!

Fabulous food, great staff and excellent value for money

Food is good and the place is clean! However, the staff are abhorrent. Two young boys, first one was very flippant with me and my mother. This boy also got our order wrong, my mother ordered halloumi and received salmon. She is vegetarian, and had to wait on a new meal while me and my grandmother ate our food. We finished our meals and ordered dessert, and our dirty plates weren’t collected until our dessert arrived, which caused problems on our small table. Condiments were old and hard. You have a nice fresh looking restaurant, now you just need the staff to match!

Never in 21 year's have had such a really poor service from one member of staff, on arrival asked the barmaid of any special requests on the newer system of when you have front desk staff allocating tables on some occasions, where we were told that if they were no reserved tables just choose, our intentions were to have a couple of drinks then to order food later when our daughter arrived, with that a employee came to our table and said we had unitl a certain time as the table that we were sat on had become reserved which was before the time we were ready to order food not allowing to eat at a time which was suitable for our requirements and when questioned this didn't care when I said you have lost an order after £70 had already been spent and asked to leave at this point and other members of the public were shocked of the this incident and said that they would also not return

Had the dirty clucker burger and hunters fres, it was cooked perfectly and couldn’t ask for better service off the team. Kiera in the kitchen did an amazing job on our food, definitely recommend going for lunch

Bryncoch is an amazing Sizzler, hope it never closes. Have pleasant, helpful, friendly staff. Always make me feel warm & welcome when I come to the Bryncoch. Always enjoy my stay here, whether it's for a meal or just a quiet drink & chat with the staff/customers.

Lovely food lovely place would come again!

Food was as to be expected from a sizzler chain pub, basic but filled a gap and tasty enough. Service from bar staff was a little less than satisfactory. Wasn't very accommodating or welcoming. Server was polite enough though. No check to make sure everything was OK which is the basic expectation these days .

Food was pretty much standard for the chain. Cooked well but nothing special. Wasn't the warmest welcome by the barman who served us.

Great place to eat with top notch service.

The food here is top-notch. Would recommend the halloumi flatbread was very tasty, and we had the southern fried boneless chicken to come out with it. We shared a party time sundae as it was my partners birthday. Will be back

Mistakes with order, some food was cold and the servers were not customer friendly.
