The food here is top-notch. Would recommend the halloumi flatbread was very tasty, and we had the southern fried boneless chicken to come out with it. We shared a party time sundae as it was my partners birthday. Will be back

Cheap and cheerful. Exactly what you're looking for if you want a spoons-type atmosphere. I keep coming here because of the lovely staff and excellently priced drinks. Would recommend for some nice drinks and decent grub when you're in the area.

Excellent value for food drinks and dessert. Good vibe as it was busy but we had pre bookef. Wait for food was 45 minutes but we were told inadvance so no problem. Staff effecient and visable.Cant fault it.

Fabulous pub, gorgeous surroundings, kids play area, beer garden, good choice of drinks and lovely Sunday dinners. I haven't tried any of their menu food. I would highly recommend this pub. Easy to get to and caters for all ages. My mum uses a walker and can access this pub easily. This can prove tricky at other places.

Absolutely appalling service from start to finish. Arrived and the place was busy as expected due to school holidays and a sunny day. We had booked and take was ready but full of dishes and not cleaned. Bar had a huge queue and dirty glasses everywhere. Clearly understaffed. The bar lady served us at the bar for food and drinks, I have never in my life experienced such a slow response to taking an order, unable to retain each meal and slow adding into til, from going to bar to ordering took over half an hour, we were not made aware that there was an hours wait. We wouldn’t mind if we knew but no one had said anything. We asked several staff who were so lovely and working very hard, it wasn’t their fault. We spoke to the manager who did offer a free round of drinks. On food arrival food was cold with frozen peas so meals had to be sent back. I won’t be going here again such a shame as it’s a lovely pub with so much potential but needs more staff and more efficient service.

Lovely pub serving a range of dishes. I had the chicken burger, which was delicious 😋 staff were friendly enough and the service went without a hitch.

Classic breakfast was plenty. Toast was over done and like crispbread, sausages a little burnt. Service was OK, took ages to clear our table, even when they brought the refill tea

Disappointed in tonight's takeaway. I'll post what the menu says the chicken should look like compared to what I received. No chillis or spring onion like the menu pic shows.. Chips and garlic bread were fine just to note. The chicken was so overcooked it was crunchy like pork scratchings, if I had bad teeth they would have fallen out.. driver was fab too.

Non existent staff and service. Waited fifteen minutes to be seen, then ignored by bar staff. When a waitress was finally found she wasn't able to log in to their booking system with no apology or explanation. We left and won't return. On reflection, pleased we had this misfortune as it was a very rowdy establishment and not a pleasant restaurant all round.

Good pub atmosphere and the staff are always friendly and helpful. We had booked a table but needed to add another person, and although the pub was extremely busy, Sam went above and beyond to help accomodate us 🙂

Came to visit with a local community group. Great food and atmosphere and Sam was very helpful booking us all in and looking after us. Whole group enjoyed will definitely be bringing everyone back.

Friendly staff great service and quiz night very enjoyable

Tonight the food was substandard but looking at how hard the staff work I didn't want to complain. We come here 4 times a month and the front of house staff are always so welcoming even when they have to deal with such a busy shift. Sam and Samuel are amazing. Having a hospitality business myself I would love them to come and work with me. The 2 younger girls do well. I commend them for their dedication. We will continue to come but I'm not sure what we'll order.

We visited the Bryncoch inn again today we mostly go every week usually a Tuesday. Great food and quick service we both had the tandoori skillet skewers it was amazing, tender tandoori chicken chunks on a bed of roasted Mediterranean vegetables and skin on fries! Curtis and Sophie looked after us they were both pleasant and efficient! Cannot fault anything from start to finish…………. Long may it continue 👌

We have been coming for years, at least once a month, had parties, and family meals there. The food and service were nearly always really lovely. We have been 3 times recently, the first time we ordered at the table and our starters came and went, I went to the bar as our mains came, the bar person didn't see our drinks order and by the time I had waited (nearly 10 mins) whilst the only person on the bar ignored me and served people who came after me and other members of staff just walked passed me we got our drinks and by the time I got back to the table my husband was half way through his food and mine was cold......No apology. I let it go because it's unusual to be treated like this there. 2nd time, no music, food was OK but staff not particularly friendly. We had food and left feeling like things have really changed. Today we came in 3.20pm, the carpark was FULL of parents picking up kids from school, went in, no music, no atmosphere. We sat at a sticky table and picked up the menus, mine had food all over it. I went to the bar to order, team member eating crips in the pot wash came out, no smile, and still chewing took my order. I sat back down, our starter to share came out, no apps plates and the bowl was unceremoniously popped on the table with little to no interaction. The lady that did this dud nit supply any cutlery, we took it off the table next door. This lady has always been really sweet so we were surprised at the drop in service. Starters were terrible, bland and unpleasant. Our mains came out, half fresh half pre cooked to death. Unpleasant. All the time, as no music was on all we could hear was everyone else's conversations and a loud compliant at the bar. We paid and left, that will be the last time we ever go back. What a shame.

Never had a bad meal here and been dining there for years. I would suggest bringing the children's desserts out first as keeping them happy is key.

I often have breakfast here, the food is always great. The service however can be hit and miss. Today we went for a drink only, I found the shift manager to be rude and inhospitable, she seemed to be overwhelmed and stressed, it was noticed by a few people waiting to he served. It’s a shame because the interior is nice, the food is good, just seems to have the wrong person front of house which has put be off visiting again.

Brilliant staff and service as always, rushed off their feet but always go above and beyond ! Food is great and family friendly atmosphere. Sam and Sophie are a credit to the pub and always go above and beyond with their customer service !

We are regulars at the Bryncoch inn, and every time we come in the staff go out of their way to accommodate us. It is often exceptionally busy and the staff are rushed off their feet, but do their very best to provide a tip notch service. I would highly recommend.

Not been here for a few years. Thought we'd try since I read it's had a refurbishment. Not impressed with the food, which was tasteless and poor quality. My chicken was not freshly cooked but preserved rubbish. My partner enjoyed the short beef rib he said was edible. Won't return it wasn't for me. Tables were full of dirty plates and glasses everywhere the whole time we were there.

Had another lovely experience with Grandsons at the Bryn. Food was tasty and the desserts delicious. Service excellent. Using the app the free woowoo was a bonus. Good value and ticks the boxes for teenagers. Great parking.

Great food and drinks, friendly staff.

Upon arrival the table with our name on was wet, previous customers glasses still there and an empty silver cutlery pot. I had to remove the glasses myself and dry table with a serviette. Also on the table was a reserved from 8pm by someone else. Which put pressure on straight away meaning we couldn’t just relax and enjoy but had to rush things along. Ordering food was easy the girl that served us at the bar took our order and the food came out perfectly. The food was cooked perfectly for all on the table and we enjoyed with no complaints at all. 3 of the table ordered desserts and they all came out individually. The time from first dessert to the 2nd was a few minutes but then the 3rd dessert did not appear for around 5 mins and actually had to go back to the bar to ask about it. Again this only increased pressure to hurry. We have been several times over the last few months, and as this was my son’s birthday we invited grandparents to join us. Sadly we would not do this again. We will still continue to visit for just a couple of hours out but for a special occasion or group booking I would not recommend and would go elsewhere.

Well just got back from trying to have a family birthday for my granddaughter 5 today. Well most of the food order's where wrong bits missing wrong stuff on plate that wasn't ordered food was over cooked. And that's after waiting ages for food in the first place. Definitely won't be going back. This is the second time now and the last I'm sorry to say.

Absolutely applaud by the experience I had up the bryn tonight. So looking forward to going there since its been refurbished. Not much has changed basically apart from new fabric coving and carpet. Ordered on line which didn't go through so ended up ordering at the bar. Food eventually arrived,or should I say 2 main meals. Mine turned up about 5 mins later. I ordered a sauce with meal which then turned up 10 mins later and our garlic bread turned up 30 mins after first meal was served. It just goes on which I m sure you get the jus. It wasn't only us that complained but actually 4 other tables. Never go there again

Food was as you would expect from a sizzlers, but toilet door had no lock and the seat was not fixed to the pan (quite a contortionist keeping everything together!!)

Nice welcome, service a little slow considering I was the only one at the bar, food good in general but the chips needed 5 more minutes in the frier

More staff are needed behind the bar to take orders, especially a lunch time.

Food is amazing. Really enjoyed the food that me and my partner had. Can't think of anymore what to improve. Very satisfied and prices are affordable.

Keira was amazing so friendly and helpful; we all enjoyed our food, burgers, steaks, skewers, all cooked great. In a group of 12 of us not one issue! Vegan friendly, would recommend.

Food was not presened garlic bread was cold and very hard also mushrooms and onions were cold service was 1 star as all were young interested in something else.bar service was appalling she was more interested in what was going on in pub no chat at all just the bill !!!!! Will not eat there again........

Awful service. Table for 3 and got one of our orders wrong but tried to serve us 2 meals whilst my daughter had to order something else and wait. I wasn't happy with the situation as they expected myself and my son to eat whilst my daughter had to wait.The girl serving made me feel awful giving me a stinking look. They did offer to redo the meals but we felt awkward after the waitress's sour attitude.Definitely won't return.

I have been going to the place for food since I have been a child, so around 21 years! always loved it for food. After the refurb me and my husband decided to give it ago as we hadn’t been in a while… well what a bloody shock! Definitely will not return!! The customer service we received was awful! The bar woman was serving people who were cutting in the cue in front of me and when I told her about it her response was ‘don’t like it we have an app you can use’ tbf the other customer told her she was rude and that he can wait. Then when the food came I was mortified to see my chicken was pink, my sausages were black and they don’t have garnish on their meals anymore for example ; eggs, pees, side salad. This place has really gone down hill since it’s been taken over and I would NOT advise you to go here unless you want rude customer service, and terrible food.

Queued for 10 minutes to order food and drink onl1 person behind bar . Food itself was nice . Went back to bar to order desserts another queue of 9 people in front . Desserts came plonked on table with lunch plates still on the table . Had to ask for them to be taken away 2 ice cream sundaes served in soup dishes as no sundae glaßes available. Won't recommend it to anyone 7 in party

Staff are all very pleasant. Great choice of meals at reasonable prices. The quality of the food and has improved since the refurbishment and so has the time you have to wait for the food. I had a slight issue with my food (sizzler plate not sizzling), they quickly took it away and replaced my meal. It’s great to see the busy environment, there is a great atmosphere there now. Love the decor after refurbishment. Well done

Rude staff, one in woman in particular wouldn't make eye contact or even acknowledge us just by say hi or I won't be long, she let regs cut in.

Advice to book a table can get busy, free parking behind the restaurant. Service at the bar. Variety of dishes. Clean toilets also staff was friendly. Nice welcome. Do have an outdoor for food and drinks. Family friendly. Even better Monday to Friday deals on 2 meals for under £13.00. open for breakfast also.

I had booked a table and on arriving could not find the table with my reservation on it, asked a worker at the bar who advised it was a two seater table near the entrance by the window, we still could not find the table and went back to the same worker. Again we asked where the table was and she just said “over there” and moved on to serving the next person. It was only after another customer talked to us that we found the table which was not a two seater table and had been put together with another table. Did not get the staff members name as they don’t wear name tags and used the app to order but that service was shocking, couldn’t take two minutes of time to actually take us to our table, especially considering the place has just had a refurb The food was awful, don’t like that the chips and onion rings have been changed, burger was dry. Bun was like a rock, couldn’t eat it. Was not asked if we would like any sauces by member of staff and when I tried to get someone’s attention they just ignored us and walked away. Will not be back anytime soon

The Bryncoch pub has recently reopened and it is fantastic! The staff are amazing and have been dealing with the “heavy wave” of new customers has been great!

The refurbishment was superb, and the New menu extensive and very reasonably priced. Our 2 steaks were cooked to perfection. Service, as always, was excellent too.
