During our holiday i wanted to introduce the family to shooting a shotgun as they only shot airrifles before and it is near impossible to do it in the Netherlands (only laser skeet shooting). A Welsh friend booked for us and we had a blast. Rob was a great teacher and storyteller who did an excellent job at putting everyone at ease and is a prime example of 'don't judge a book by its cover'. Even my 15 year old daughter, who didn't want to shoot at first, was destroying clay pigeons in no time. He also made sure everything went safely. Our party of 5 shot 125 shells which cost us only ÂŁ20 per person, very affordable. We will definately return next time we visit Wales.

Wanted a local stop with a few better options than the standard pub. Exceptionally nice dining room, wonderful traditional decoration and feel. Coq au Van was well cooked and sauced, veggies ok, nice desert options. Did need a reservation on the weekend, but Monday we just had an empty room for the most part. Good local cider options

Just had a two night stay, dog allowed Lovely place, clean, well equipped, parking outside of room and nice breakfast. Freindly staff and relaxed vibe. Enjoyed it, and would go back. Wish it had a bar though as pub down the road was closed for a refurb.

Just passing through Haverfordwest and noticed on Google maps Moby Dicks famous chip shop, and I can see why it maybe famous, the food was excellent, the cod was freshly cooked in crispy batter and the chips were delicious, the curry sauce was probably one of the best I've tasted. Definitely 10 out of 10, the staff are very friendly, with great service. Definitely worth a return visit.

We stayed overnight at the Dolaucothi Arms after going to the National Trust Roman Gold Mine. Estelle provided us with a lovely cold meat and cheese platter for our supper that was superb. We had an enormous cooked breakfast the following morning. I had a wonderful gluten-free meal. There were even two toasters, one just for toasting gluten/free bread. I have never stayed at a place so gluten free friendly. What made it so special was that after breakfast we were treated to an impromptu 1-2-1 tour around the birds of prey. We have never felt more welcome and wished we could have stayed there longer.

Finally a proper Sunday lunch that tastes like a Sunday lunch👌 had lunch here yesterday,, the staff were very friendly and really well organised,I had the mixed meat platter with the pigs in blankets and the giant Yorkshire pudding, the veg was lovely and it tasted like veg, not like most other places I’ve been where all this fancy sauce is added to everything, definitely cooked with love, thank you very much, I will definitely be returning 👌👌👍
