This place is an absolute state they had a dartboard with no darts so it was utterly useless they had 2 pool cues and both of them had been battered to the point of having no use my mate didnt get served although he is 20 years of age just because the bartender didnt like the look of his face as he said he was ugly and that man was jumbo joel edwards but when we did get a pint of carling he dribbled in it in front of our face thats all you are getting which is abysmal. horrid customer service.

Member of staff spoke to customers awfully and disrespectfully to an 18 year old young girl. Awful behaviour wouldn’t recommend.

This small friendly pub offers a great Sunday lunch buffet. A good choice of meats and a lovely and comprehensive choice of veg at a very reasonable price. Your choice of meat is served to you with a free choice of "all you can eat" veg. As good as it gets but sadly food is presently only served lunchtime Sundays.

This is the third time I have had Sunday lunch at the Rose & Willow and the third time I have left as a happy customer. Their dinners have a real hearty home cooked feel about them. The meat was roasted to perfection and as always there was a huge selection of vegetables and side dishes. The staff are always friendly and attentive and the service is fast and efficient. This is my new go-to for Sunday Lunch.

After having found quite few places closed at 5pm on a Sunday we ended up visiting The Rose and Willow. Lovely little pub, cosy and traditional. Not a huge selection when it comes to drinks but pleasant enough. Didn't have food so unable to comment on that although I know they do food. Probably visit again.

A couple of Saturdays back some friends, the missus and I dropped in here for lunch. We'd already missed food at a - the! - pub in Steynton and when we got to Neyland a guy in the Rose and Willow's car park told me that they don't do meals in the daytime. One of my friends was already inside, asking, and he came outside to tell us that we could get a meal here. In we went. The guy who'd 'lied' to me was inside, and was obviously a regular, so the only conclusion I can draw is that they made the meals we asked for especially for us. This is real service and was a pleasant surprise (I visited this place several years ago on a Mothering Sunday and had a terrible experience) and the food was excellent. You could say that it's hard to mess up a mixed grill, but a lot of places manage to do so, and everyone else enjoyed their food (steak for him, lasagne for the girls, gammon for the kids). Mine was so filling that my next proper meal was on the Sunday evening. A big thank you to the staff present that day. Highly recommended.

We were staying locally at a camping site and decided to go out for Sunday dinner. Chose the pub based on it reviews. I'm glad we did. Booked first thing Sunday morning. ...lucky I did because the restaurant was full. When they say booking advisable they were not wrong. We sat in the bar which didn't bother us at all. Staff were attentive and friendly. Food was lovely and the veg selection was perfect. Can't recommend enough. We will definitely be back as we only live in Carmarthen. Thanks again guys.

This was my first time eating out at The Rose and Willow, and unfortunately it was not a great experience. I ordered the mixed grill which for its price was not particularly outstanding. This mixed grill however was topped off by not one, not two but THREE human hairs. I spoke to the waitress who happily removed the mixed grill, subtracted it from the bill and gave me a complementary dessert. I was however annoyed that she removed all my food from the table (there was a bowl of chips with the grill, and this was removed before I had finished).I was with 5 other people and I will point out that they had no problems with their meals. I am hoping that this is more indicative of the service normally provided and that my experience was a mere aberration.

We visited the Rose and Willow on Sunday, having head that they do Sunday lunches, and we'd recommend it.The service was friendly and fast. There was a choice of three meats that arrived in decent portions. Nine different vegetables were also available in a buffet-type arrangement. All for a pretty good price. Much better than a restaurant chain.Recommended!

Traditional, characterful pub owned and run by a decent man. Good local customers and selection of drinks. No food but if you want a welcome where you dont have to feel like a holidaymaker, this place is for you.

It was a rainy Sunday in Pembrokeshire. We were hungry, and a Google search pointed this place out. We almost knew what to expect and fancied a chinnese. Anyone with physical limitations do not try to access. No lights to the path and pitch dark. Once you're in it's cold and sparse. A few tables to accommodate sit downs but this place runs mostly on take aways. The cook was very busy. A young man taking orders, serving and dealing with customers coming in and out. Bit chaotic. We kept our coats on ate our dishes, which were nicer than expected. Worth a venture ... some fun a bit like faulty towers. We would go back.
