Brought back many memories of when I used to go in my school years. Nothing has really changed since then. Had the chips and pie, good price at £7.50 and came out hot which you don't often get at other places. The portion was enough for me.

Browns Cafe is a cozy and affordable spot in the heart of Pembroke. I visit here whenever I am in town as the breakfasts are delicious and such a good price. Served piping hot and very quickly, their English breakfasts are truly iconic. The seats are leather booths surrounded by mirrors, with plenty of seating available inside and out. The staff are always friendly and the service is just fantastic each and every time. Highly recommend!

Lovely traditional proper British cafe. Staff were perfect, food (the mega cooked breakfast) was ok nothing special for the price. For £12.50 It's pricey sorry. I travel the country and this has to be up there with the most costly yet. As I say Lovely staff and facility. Because of that I'd give it an overall 8 out of 10 #Internationalbreakfasthunter

Unpleasant middle aged lady took our order, no smile or welcome. Was very rude to somebody on the phone whilst in clear earshot of customers. Chunky veg soup with roll and cheese 'special' was unavailable so we accepted leek and potato as an alternative. However, we were charged inflated price for a small bowl of packet powdered soup (totally liquid) and no cheese. This and 2 teas came to £19.80!! Left a bad taste - in more ways than one... The younger lady who served us was very pleasant.

I ordered a small portion of fish and chips. The fish was juicy and delicious, and the salad was generous. It suddenly started raining heavily when the store was closing, but I forgot to bring an umbrella. The store was kind enough to let me stay until the rain stopped. Very warm welcome from kind friendly helpful staff. They are happy to adapt menu items. Great choices for vegans, vegetarians, and gluten-free diners, as well as everyone else. Reasonable prices too. The weather wasn't good enough to sit out on the terrace, but we were lucky enough to grab the end table where we could look out over the valley to the hills beyond. My gluten-free tuna mayo toastie and salad was great - they were happy to do me a salad without onions, and I was happy when it arrived with a little pot of toasted seeds to use as a topper if I wished (I did wish). My companion enjoyed his mushrooms on granary toast, a favourite lunch dish which is not easy to find. I was sorry I didn't have space for a gluten-free cake. The cafe was very clean and the service was excellent. I would happily eat here again if I was in Pembroke at lunchtime.

Mediocre and pricey for essentially a greasy spoon cafe. 60s decor has a little bit of historic charm if you love the colour brown, but the menu hasn’t updated since, nor the presentation (have never seen a less attractive cooked fish or the chips). The staff were lovely and it was band holiday but it looked like enough staff as it was so quite. When my food came my friends beans were cold and so were mine like they had just came out the can, they were also to runny. The food was lovely just it was lacking a bit in speed. I’m not normally a women who says bad reviews but this was something I had to say, it might not always be like this I might of just had a unlucky trip. Recommend going but maybe not on band holiday.

'This place makes me happy,' said Caitlin as she polished off her curry sauce and chips. Looking out over the terrace to the hills beyond we all agreed. The 60s/70s decor is lovely and the food is straightforward, well-cooked and well priced. The fish and chips is in the top 10 per cent I've ever had. I am calling this cafe the most disappointing place across whole our trip in Pembrokshire coast. Have you ever heard of scones with synthetic cream? How about stale scones? Well, that's the combination you can get in this place. I also ordered 2 fried eggs on a toast and they came over cooked inside with hard yolks. The toasts were soaked in oil. Tea, coffee... don't waste your time. Staff member that was looking after us was not friendly and looked very bossy towards her team. Got home to open what can only be classed as two small chips by anyone’s standards and cod bites that were slightly bigger than a 50p and were basically mini fish cakes! Now my £11.40 was looking like i’d over paid for food that was not great and potato filled mini fish cakes pretending to be cod! if i hadn’t lived a few mile away, it would of gone straight back.

Value for money, no frills, but good service and tasty grub. The establishment sadly most the family matriarch who ran the adjoining chippy until she was over the age of 100.
