The Galley Restaurant Tenby in Pembrokeshire

Read the last review and was apprehensive but omg they could not have been more wrong, don't know where they went but was not this place, the food was wonderfully , steak perfectly cooked and the fish and chips were perfect. Was only a couple of quid more than the chippy , can't fault it .

Absolutely awful customer service ! Decor is old and outdated Bar manager is very rude also drinks very pricey for the quality of the actual drink. Food tastes like it comes out of a microwave and you pay full price for it ! Awful atmosphere , a very awkward place to be .

Food was delicious and Max was really attencious.

We had such a lovely evening here. There was a good choice available on the menu which was reasonably priced. Our food was absolutely delicious with generous portions. Friendly staff and a really comfortable bar with amazing views for pre drinks. Highly recommend!

Wait staff said she couldn't find the drink menu, we couldn't see what wines were available. The the next table was seated with wine menu. We would have spent more money on drinks. Were we not dressed well enough?

Came to the galley with a group of friends, the food we had was really nice, much better than you could expect for the price. Service was also good, our server understood the vibe of our table and was happy to banter back and forth with us which really added to our night The only criticism I could give is that the room was very quiet, towards the end of the night the staff played some music which really helped raise the mood of the room, and it would have beena much better ambiance if the music was playing from the start

We really enjoyed the tasty food .The service was both efficient and friendly and the decor views and history of the place made this a n interesting and enjoyable place to eat.The portions were generous size and very reasonably priced...Great place!

We visited the galley restaurant for a Sunday lunch for my dads birthday and I don’t have a bad word to say ! The staff were all lovely and the food was delicious. The owner max really has done an amazing job, the views were absolutely lovely, all the food was presented beautifully and came out in very good time considering there was 11 of us 🙈 the portion sizes were brilliant plenty to fill everyone. The desserts were delightful, beautiful cheesecake and a brilliant potion size. Thank you to the owner max and all the staff who made our experience so amazing, and to the chefs for our brilliant food!

What an absolute lovely Sunday lunch we had at The Belgrave Hotel Tenby today. Max and the team were amazing and very patient!! Just loads of food…. the roast dinner was amazing, even the chunks of bread and black salted butter were delicious and loved the monks ale served in a tankard followed by a mug of mead, everything was perfect. Will definitely be back (if they’ll have us!!) xx

would put zero stars but didn’t have the option food was over priced starter was pork scratchings on a plate with salad, main was meant to be beef brisket but was 3 pieces of dry beef and a couple of potatoes for £18 , absolutely shocking staff didn’t seem to care or accommodate us in any way, spoke to the manager he didn’t have a care in the world. And not Disabled Friendly so don’t waste your time or money! absolutely terrible ruined our night away!!

Don’t waste your money Food was absolutely horrific crispy port starter was basically pork scratches on a piece of lettuce Beef brisket starter was dry Mains Beef brisket was 3 rashers of dry beef with 3 new potatoes for £18 Staff never asked how our meal was because probably know how awful it is when we complained at end the manger was nowhere to be found for ages when he finally arrived he did not have any care in the world and claimed that he has never had any complaints, but judging by the fact there was only 5 reviews we should have checked them out first but I would avoid at all costs unless you want dry expensive food and rubbish customer service

The setting of this restaurant is lovely, we had a table in the window overlooking Caldey. The server was just right and very helpful and the food was fantastic, we ate the lot! Our only criticism was that the main course food was served in enamel dishes and plates which certainly doesn't suit the dining experience, it's what you would use when camping! Last time we visited they used china which I hope they go back to. Much better suited in my opinion.

We ate here for Easter Sunday and it was absolutely delicious. Great portion sizes and reasonably priced too.

After seeing good reviews about this restaurant I was really looking forward to having a meal here..................Unfortunately my crab fish cakes tasted like cardboard, my Moms beef was incredibly fatty and the chips didn't taste freshly cooked 😕 Apologies from the staff however no recompense for the inadequacies as the manager had apparently left 10 minutes before we made our complaint 🥴 Such a shame it was as had seen good reviews 😤
