Just had a two night stay, dog allowed Lovely place, clean, well equipped, parking outside of room and nice breakfast. Freindly staff and relaxed vibe. Enjoyed it, and would go back. Wish it had a bar though as pub down the road was closed for a refurb.

Stayed for a couple of nights. Room was very clean and spacious. Lovely shower. Everything you would expect. Breakfast was also excellent, and the staff serving were very polite and professional. Could have done with a blackout blind in the room. Also we were very disappointed that the Tudor Lodge is no longer open so could not get a drink or evening meal. Asked the staff at breakfast and were told they had no plans of opening to the public again. Real shame.

We ate at Tudor Lodge twice, while camping at the Beavers retreat. In both instances, we arrived exactly after the time the kitchen closed, but the staff was so friendly and welcoming, that they still served us. Food is great, the service is even better, and they were very accommodating to us bringing our puppy with us, too.

Booked one of the rooms here and have to say we were so happy. The room was immaculate, beautifully decorated and the bed so comfy. Bathroom was exceptional. Had dinner in the pub area and wow, the food was amazing and portions were large. The staff are friendly and welcoming and although they were short staffed the service was first class. Will definitely be returning for longer.

Tudor Lodge is very comfortable and we highly recommend. The rooms were clean fresh and comfortable. Tea and coffee, bottled water and fluffy towels. Nothing to fault. The breakfast was included and freshly cooked with good quality ingredients. No buffet, thank goodness but individually served cooked Welsh breakfast or Veggie… cereals/yoghurt and hot toast and butter. Again nothing to fault and the waitresses were very friendly. We took our dog and she was allowed to join us throughout the hotel. We walked during our stay, down onto the coastal path and over to Freshwater East and back to Manorbier We didn’t use our car as we were happy walking in the wonderful countryside. Needless to say we were exhausted and ate both nights in the hotel restaurant. Our meals were fabulous. Freshly cooked lots of choice and delicious!! The chips were superb. It was all good, service was excellent too. We ordered wine and it was lovely… All in all we had a wonderful stay. Our room ,no 1, was spacious and comfortable. Huge bath and double shower. The Lodge was very comfortable and relaxing… plus the chef cooked to a high standard. Thank you Tudor Lodge team for a wonderful stay. We booked to come back before we left!

We were disappointed-we had a bottle of house red which was undrinkable. We are not fussy - we have never not drunk any wine before. The seafood platter was all battered and was dry and chewy. But we enjoyed the starters So a somewhat mixed experience which didn’t come cheap as we were charged for everything including one glass of the most disgusting wine ever.

Stopped here for Sunday lunch, because a lot of places were booked up. Everything looked okay until the mains came. Starters were nice and gave off a good impression to us, shame the Sunday lunch didn’t live up to expectation. We ordered 3x beef which tasted as if it had coke out of a vac-pac and wasn’t the tastiest at all. Gravy was pretty bland, and had no taste to it whatsoever and the roast potatoes were rather anaemic and average. Vegetables and boiled potatoes were good enough. Made our roast dinner a little better. Creamy leeks were nice but a little runny. Atmosphere wasn’t the greatest, I got the impression from the name of the pub that there would be a nice feel inside to it. Instead, we were sat in a low ceiling room that got loud and stuffy as more people arrived. Seems to be more like a function room than a pleasant dining area. I will say I have eaten worse, but there are nicer places in and around the area that I would be prioritising to go to. Okay experience if your not looking for top quality.

Lacked atmosphere and the whole establishment dated. No real effort with a sea bass dish that should have been pan fried with crispy skin and a caper butter but was a soggy dish with little capers. "Wagyu" burger that was dry, salty, tasteless. The lack of attention from all the staff was evident as we decided that we were the only guests in the dining room to move outside to finish our wine and then went to pay to the surprise of the staff had put our bill in the bin thinking we had done a runner. This was a huge surprise considering we had arrived on a motorcycle in the middle of an near empty car park.

We have not been to Tudor Lodge for Sunday lunch for about twelve months due to Covid but we visited last Sunday the 6th of February and was not disappointed. The lunch has always been very very good but last Sunday it was exceptional. My wife was overjoyed to see Lamb back on the menu and she said it was the nicest piece of lamb she has eaten for some years. "its was melt in the mouth" she said. I have an allergy against lamb, crazy I know, I did mention to the young lady server that I was disappointed that there was no chicken or turkey option and she said "hang on, I will ask chef" she returned and said "yes no problem" and it was delicious. I have to say that the young girl serving was attentive, funny and very helpful. What a lovely Sunday Lunch my wife and I enjoyed. 10/10. There is no better anywhere in the area. Thank you so much and will be back in March.

A local lady recommended Tudor Lodge to us as we were staying nearby. We were seated quickly but then left for 15 minutes without any menus or offer of drinks. Table was not prepared for diners, sticky and no cutlery. Despite three waiters coming and going in the area we were sat we were ignored. We eventually ordered and decided not to have starters as we fancied the deserts on offer. When the food came one meal was incorrect. However we decided to accept to avoid waiting any longer and could not fault the quality of the food. Time for desert .... unfortunately the waiter arrived to clear the table and we asked for the desert menu only to be told rather abruptly that they had run out!! No apology or explanation! When we looked disappointed he then added that they could offer only ice cream! We declined and left feeling a little disappointed.

We dropped in yesterday, the kitchen wasn’t officially open as the opening times on the website were incorrect. However, we were told if we didn’t mind waiting 30 minutes or so for fryers etc to heat up, they would serve us earlier than the 5:30 opening time for food. We waited in a very welcoming snug area with open fire, the staff were very friendly and extremely apologetic for the incorrect opening time info. We ordered fish & chips & the pie of the day, both were excellent, this is our bench mark food & something we don’t eat at home, the chips were home made, pudding were homemade too and equally as delicious as the mains. Prices are reasonable and we were sorry we had no cash on us to leave a tip, but we will be back quite frequently as we have family & friends visiting us throughout the year & have been looking for a comfortable pub with great food to visit with them. Thanks for a fab meal & opening the kitchen early.

We always enjoy our time here and our most recent experience was one to remember - on arrival to our eagerly anticipated reservation for Sunday roast, Storm Dennis had caused the power to go down! The test of great customer service is in how a business operates against adversity and the team at Tudor Lodge did themselves and their owners proud, taking our order regardless and driving over to their sister pub, The Carew Arms, to collect our food and drive it back to Jameston!! A little later than we planned to eat but eat we did and another thoroughly enjoyable meal against the odds! Thanks guys

We called in to the Tudor Lodge by chance, as we were passing by on holiday and were so glad we did. My husband and I both ordered the Steak and mushroom/ale pie and it was delicious. A very generous portion of super tasty, melt in the mouth meat with a puff pastry top. The homemade chips were the best I've tasted in a long time. Kids had a lovely homemade spaghetti Bolognese and ate every bit.We enjoyed this meal so much that we tried to recreate our experience a few days later at an award winning restaurant as we travelled further north. Unfortunately, they couldn't match up to our experience at the Tudor Lodge. The staff were super friendly and welcoming and even the locals were happy to chat with us too. We ate at the Tudor Lodge and enjoyed a really good meal. Husband and I had the Indian starter to share, which was good, not to authentic balti/Indian restaurant standards, but very tasty and plentiful. We followed that with the ‘Curry Night’ curry...curry, rice, chips and naan with an alcoholic drink, excellent food and value at £11.95 each. Our children had chilli con carne (adult portion) and burger and chips from the child’s menu. Both these meals were generously sized and of excellent quality. This is a large pub with a restaurant and also a bar area where diners with dogs are welcome. I went there for dinner with my dog and a friend: I chose minted lamb chops and he had the mixed grill. His portion was impressively huge and he thoroughly enjoyed it. I asked for my chops to be pink: some were and some weren't but they were tasty. They came with new potatoes, which were a little dry so I asked for some butter. Maybe this should have been served with them? Also accompanying the chops was a pot of excellent crunchy coleslaw but the rest of the plate was filled with a heap of miscellaneous salad, without any dressing. This seemed an odd accompaniment, and didn't appear in the description of the dish on the menu, so it came as a surprise. I soon got tired of it and left most of it. Perhaps some green vegetables would have been better? Overall we felt we had value for money and, my niggles apart, a good evening.

The Tudor Lodge is a restaurant that we have visited year after year as we have holidayed in Jameston. More of a restaurant than a pub but you have comfortable seating areas where you can enjoy a drink without having to eat. However, most people attend to eat. You can reserve tables and I would recommend doing so on weekends and the theme nights such as steak or curry night. These theme nights are weekly events and very good value for money. Children are made welcome and there is a play area outside where you can sit, have a drink and the children can play safely. Ample parking for those needing to drive and not that we have used it but there is also accommodation available but I can’t comment on this. A lovely welcoming restaurant I can recommend you visit if in the area.

We also ate in the restaurant on one of the evenings and it was their "Steak Night". I had a big Rump steak with tasty chips with a desert and free pint, all for £12.99. I thoroughly recommend if you are staying in the area.

Took my son and family the other evening, went at 530pm for the early Bird menu, it was very reasonably priced and good quality, the portions were generous especially for the children. I was very impressed and will certainly go again.

We had a fabulous Easter Sunday evening meal. The food was amazing. I had a lovely curry and then we shared a dessert platter was fantastic. The homemade cheesecake was stunning. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Definitely returning

This was about the 5th time we have visited and lovely food yet again. The vegetable curry was so lovely that I've made a similar curry twice in the two weeks since we were there. Friendly staff and a nice atmosphere.

I stayed here for 1 night. The bed was really comfortable. The room was very clean and in great condition. Credit to the chef who cooked breakfast. I had the Lodge breakfast. It was really tasty, especially the mushrooms. The staff here are lovely. Will definitely stay here again.

Lovely welcoming pub, had a 4 night stay in Tenby and with plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from we always picked this one! Amazing staff, great food and great selection of drinks. Breakfast was incredible!! 10 out of 10 - great!

The room price is too high for the facilities. Dirty carpets, otherwise clean. The breakfast is meager. No fruits. Welsh breakfast quite dry.

Wanted a local stop with a few better options than the standard pub. Exceptionally nice dining room, wonderful traditional decoration and feel. Coq au Van was well cooked and sauced, veggies ok, nice desert options. Did need a reservation on the weekend, but Monday we just had an empty room for the most part. Good local cider options

Traditional pub offering top end pub food at good prices. You also have an area for traditional pub games. so glad we came across this place in an area so sparse in choice
