During our holiday i wanted to introduce the family to shooting a shotgun as they only shot airrifles before and it is near impossible to do it in the Netherlands (only laser skeet shooting). A Welsh friend booked for us and we had a blast. Rob was a great teacher and storyteller who did an excellent job at putting everyone at ease and is a prime example of 'don't judge a book by its cover'. Even my 15 year old daughter, who didn't want to shoot at first, was destroying clay pigeons in no time. He also made sure everything went safely. Our party of 5 shot 125 shells which cost us only £20 per person, very affordable. We will definately return next time we visit Wales.

We visited Pembroke for the first time as adults with our 9 and 11 year olds. We were all very hungry due to leaving Tenby early. We wanted to visit the castle and revisit childhood memories. However our stomachs had other ideas. We walked unknowingly down the Main Street and just via luck we found Browns Cafe. Well what can I say !!! Absolutely amazing good quality food and service. Each meal was really nice. They said on the menu that the fish was award winning and it sure was. They were accommodating and attentive. It looked like a family run business and the attention to detail was incredible. Many thanks for our take out lamb cawl it was great for our tea. You are doing a fantastic job. Keep it up xx

A bit disappointed despite good food and beer. 1.hard to find the way in- it’s up an unsignposted fire escape type set of stairs 2.once upstairs you are faced with a couple of doors that look like fire exits. The restaurant name on the glass doors is facing inwards, very unwelcoming. 3. Once inside, first thing we are told is that they are very busy, not sure what we were supposed to make of that. 4. Went to gents and spent a short time trying to get into gents shower, which was locked. Bar staff just looked away. 5. Walked out through big double doors onto balcony, so had to go back, way out was through one of those minor doors. Food and drink was promptly served and was very good. Even though my battered fish was a bit overcooked it was still good. Starters very good. Bill given but it appeared that we had to go to till on way out to pay. So, I recommend it for food and drink but they could do quite a bit to improve 1st time visitor experience

We had Sunday Lunch here today as we were in the area for a weekend break. It was incredible! I had the Turkey roast dinner which was so tasty, and there was a huge portion of vegetables to go with it. My fiancee had the salmon salad and completely cleared her plate. I had the Key Lime Pie for dessert and she had the Raspberry & Champagne Cheesecake, neither stood a chance and were absolutely demolished. Service was brilliant too, can't recommend enough!

I had parked in front of the restaurant - we planned on visiting the Point Cafe at the end for the kids to have a burger as they can be very fussy eaters. Me and my wife had planned to call at the beach shop and then have a few drinks and a meal at Springwell Inn. Whilst ordering our kids burgers - my son who had returned to the car to get his money was appraoched and told by the owner - where are you parents? My son explained where we were and the owner told him ' to go get your parents, you cant park there - its reserved for people eating here' Upon hearing this, I couldnt quite understand the issue - it was a quiet evening in the week and we were going to call and have food ourselves. It spoilt the experience and anyone who speaks like that - isnt worthy of my custom. I moved the car and didnt return there - we ended up having food at the Point Cafe, the owner who was smashing and really helpful.

The welcome was poor. I could see a staff member chatting to customers and that seemed nice. However we were ignored by another lady despite looking like tourists and not knowing to sit or order? Food was nice, fresh and is decently priced! Shouted cheerio as we left but we were ignored. Improve the welcomes and friendliness and this could be decent.

Spotted this fish and chips bar on trip advisor last Thursday and thought we would give it a go. We arrived 15 minutes before closing but the gentlemen was absolutely brilliant. We got chatting about knowing people from the Forest of Dean whilst the food was cooked fresh and was completely delicious. I would highly recommend this place if you are in the Burry Port area.
