We wanted to sample some delicious fresh local seafood during our stay in Pembrokeshire. Boy did we strike lucky. Occupying a spot in the gorgeous Solva harbour, 35 Main Street offers a relaxed but attentive dining experience. The menu offered a variety of options to keep the children happy as well as the adults looking to try something exciting from the daily specials menu. The asian inspired Calamari starter was beyond tasty, the seafood Chowder was rich and hearty, the fresh Sea Bream was extremely well cooked and all well presented. Looking forward to sampling the Breakfast options in the next few days. A thoughtful recommendation, well worth the drive.

Totally made our holiday experience x we have/our having so much fun dining at this gorgeous little gem of a place. The food is deliciously sourced, the location is absolutely heavenly overlooking the harbour. Steve’s team are so nice, attentive and friendly. and Steve… what a lovely gent; so kind, passionate about his produce and Solva. He really cares about his team and customers. He his definitely the best host ever, thank you Steve, you are the very best host. I have travelled the world, dined at the best restaurants including, numerous Michelin star ones and this one has left a personal happy memory 😊 we have dined here on two occasions (so far). We devoured whitebait and lobster on our first visit; on our second, seabass and tomahawk steak; all perfectly cooked and presented with a gorgeous salad and chips to die for! We adore this place so much, we are not interested in dining anywhere else, it really is that good people! 👍🥰

We are locals and have been here many times over the years. New owners so keen to see how things are going. Not many customers so ordered coffee, white bait and chips. Coffee came quickly but was long gone before the food arrived, which to be fare was good. 👍 No cutlery so had to go inside and take some off a laid up table.🤦🏻♂️ No napkins so were offered blue kitchen roll 🤦🏻♂️ Cook doing the outside BBQ was smoking a cigarette 🤦🏻♂️ Won't be in a hurry to go back. You need to up your game before the tourists arrive guys.

Our first time visiting since the change in ownership. 35 has always been a favourite of ours for a laid back meal near the sea with family or friends. Our daughters both learned that their favourite meal in the world was moules and we have always enjoyed good food and friendly service. We visited yesterday with baited breath hoping that the change in ownership wouldn't have changed our beloved little restaurant by the sea and we are happy to say that it most certainly did not disappoint. Wonderful service and delicious food, still with the same laid back vibe we've always enjoyed. Nothing was too much trouble, our daughter was asked what her favourite meal was and although it wasn't on the menu she was able to order moules marinere and pronounced it delicious. Thank you and good luck.

Steve and his crew served up a STUNNING Sumday roast dinner. chicken for me, lamb for my wife. nut roast and beef were also available. plate piled high with delicious vege and meat: roast parsnip, potatoes, carrots with mashed sweed, steamed medly of vege including chard cabbage and courgette and a stonking huge Yorkshire pud. the star of the show was an unusual addition that punched through with vibrant flavour it involved a roast or grilled tomatoes and possibly Kimchi?? the grave was also a show stopper. the portions defeated us both, luckily we had our four legged friend to snaffle away any embarrassment of left overs! bottles of Bluestone Brewery s finest kept me jolly while my wife sampled the tipple from the mayor of St. David's that Steve brought in!! would recommend highly. honestly 10 out of 10. maybe loose a half a point for no salt and pepper, serviettes brought to table outside. but no loss to be able to eat in the fresh sea air and see the sun sparkling off the estuary.

Called here for lunch at 12:30 to find only 3 of the 5 offered sandwiches were available. No one informed us of this whilst we looked at the menu, So had to re choose when we ordered. The sandwiches arrived and the order was wrong but we’d waited ages for them (only 1 other table in there, 30 minutes for 4 sandwiches) so my husband couldn’t be bothered to wait again and said he’d take the incorrect order of the Brie. The kids ordered ham and it came chopped up in tiny pieces inside the sandwich (bizarre). They spat several grizzle chunks out. The salad garnish was tiny tiny and then to top it off there was a chunk of crab in my Brie sandwich (uncanny since they’d supposedly run out of crab sandwiches. ) good job I didn’t have a shell fish allergy. All the staff we busy prepping for an event happening that night. So when my boys asked for ketchup it arrived just as they were finishing the chips. £40 for 4 drinks and 4 sandwiches, poor service, poor food and sadly won’t be returning. Oh and several tables behind us sat down and once again no one informed them that 1/2 the menu was unavailable until they were ordering. it’s basic service really. You greet the customer, give the menu and say if not everything is available.Lovely spot,it is a shame but they don’t give a damn about returning custom.

We ate here twice whilst on holiday in Solva. The menu changes daily with fresh fish and a good vegetarian option. Staff are young, enthusiastic and very smiley. With a starter, main course and wine it worked out at around £25 a head. Fresh mackerel was cooked superbly and the fish was Hake with the fish and chips. On the first visit I had lobster that looked a bargain at £16.95 but the half I got was a bit on the small side. No complaints because it was all very good and locally sourced. Recommended but you’ll need to book especially if the weather’s good.

Well we were keen to visit here after following the restaurant on Instagram and seeing such vibrant colours in the images of the food. I was craving a flavoursome nutritious meal after frequenting quite a few of the local pubs for food which was somewhat beige! The menu was simple and concise which is always good with a great choice for everyone. Both children devoured the children’s fish and chips which was exceptional, my partner had the Mexican burrito and I ordered the Seabass ....however on arrival the fish was over done, chewy and hard in places, as was the accompanying rice. My partner decided to say something and the waitress responded so well. Without hesitation she talked to the chef and another fresh dish was made up and my goodness what a difference!!!! It was beautiful!!! Well done for offering such good customer service and made what could have been a mediocre meal a memorable one ... da iawn !

Called into this cafe/restaurant in a lovely position on the harbour in Solva. We were a group of four two ladies and two males.Coffeee was fine. However it is hard to believe that we were to witness the foulest of language from what I believed was a kitchen worker towards the female members or member of the staff.whatever set this male worker in white t shirt off with such a disgusting rant I have no idea.As he was shouting and swearing in the kitchen and passageway into the restaurant there was a family with two young children in the eating area of the restaurant that could not have failed to hear this disgraceful behaviour.By the time that the altercation became the focus of the establishment both my wife and sister had left.I witnessed the incident and heard one female worker telling this male person that the customers were leaving.I heard him shout "Good they can Fxxxx Off". This type of language was heard loud and clear. We were not intimidated by this behaviour by this person but did feel sorry for one waitress who had been reduced to tears. This same young lady apologised two or three times and offered us another coffee. We declined as the place was conducive for a relaxing coffee. We used the facilities in our turn.It was suggested that this person shouting should apologise to the family. However this hero failed to do that.As we left we saw this person accompanying what appeared another member of staff into the carpark whining that someone had put something on the special board. This sounded as pathetic as this persons behaviour.I do not believe that this person is an asset to any business or local tourism.Im sure that this behaviour does not truly reflect this business or a majority of the staff in this establishment.I might go back for a coffee but not with my wife or any young children.

The four of us came here with hungry bellies after roaming the lovely little Solva for an hour or two. Starving, we entered the restaurant with strangely polite waitresses giving us the menus and telling us they’d be over to collect our orders in a minute. After seeing the exotic menu, and expensive dishes, we expected to satisfy the hunger. It didn’t, this wasn’t because the food was bad, but instead Because we were never served food in the first place. After 40 minutes of sitting there waiting for the waitresses to collect our orders, we got up and left. As we left the waitress who simply stood at the door watching us said “thank you for coming”. , I replied with “best meal I ever had!”, she said “thank you very much”.

We came with a couple of local friends who had recommended it after a good experience a few months ago, but this time it was lacking. The cafe was not busy, we were the only people eating, yet we waited 10-15mins for a few coffees and then 30mins for half of our food to come. After 50minutes we asked where the other breakfasts were and after another 10minutes they came out to tell us the order hadnt made it to the kitchen. Despite a clear order for breakfast (4 drinks, 4 meals (3 being the same meal which were both said and gestured with 3 fingers when ordering), the waitress had taken our order incorrectly. Accidents happen and we could have excused it, had they have offered an apology, a solution, or at best not have simply blamed us for not having realised the sums were wrong when we paid the bill. It's a shame because independent and family run businesses are where I choose to spend my money, but they have lost 4 local customers and advocates today.

We visited here 2 weeks ago when on holiday in Pembrokeshire. It was the end of the week and I had already eaten my fair share of local seafood, so with some trepidation I ordered a vegetable curry, hoping it wouldn't be too spicy, too watery or too tomatoey. I needn't have worried it was delicious. Creamy, delicately spiced and with green beans, mange tout and I can't remember the third ingredient. It was served with the crispiest mini vegetable samosas, a delicious flatbread, and nutty rice. I was well happy. Hubby also enjoyed his dish and the coffee. Everything was served on pretty pottery with good quality cutlery. Could not fault anything.

At first was disappointed to find out that a young lady that use to work with Ali in the summer no longer works there and did not feel the same without her as from previous visits I had enjoyed her company and she was a great waitress. On a different note, I enjoyed the linguine but had a rather unusual taste compared to previous cook. Popped in here after a New years day walk for a coffee. Friendly welcome was had and a cosy little corner on a sofa. Great cuppa and coffee and ordered some chips to warm me up. Generous portion of funky shaped proper chips. Service was absolutley fine, clean tidy and relaxed place to spend some time. Well worth a visit.

The owner put herself out, to serve us late in the day with two excellent cups of coffee. The restaurant was festive, clean and tidy. The owner couldn't have been friendlier,we sat on the sofa with two dogs, had a nice chat, and left better for the experience. I'd like to thank her for her kindness and wish her well for the future. Give it a go.

Moroccan nut roast with salad, tzatsiki and naan bread - absolutely incredible! So often the veggie options are yawnsome but this dish hit the tastebuds like pinball wizard! Highly recommend

Really fantastic place. Seven of us, including a toddler and a six year old, popped in for a coffee and ice-cream at about 12.30, when a lot of places would have been reluctant to seat us if we weren't having lunch. Not Thirty Five - we were seated with no problem by the friendly owner. The children then discovered that the ice-cream freezer had been put away for winter and our son started to cry, whereupon the lovely owner found them some ice-cream that was supposed to be served with puddings. Delicious cake and lovely coffee, ice-cream and chips and really nice decor, with a nod to the seaside location without being cheesy. We will definitely return if we're in the area. Thank you for a lovely experience.

Pleasant, Clean and stylish. As we are in wales i thought it was a good idea to try a proper welsh rarebit. It was very disappointing though perhaps authentic. Two very small scraps of ciabatta with a sort of brown paste with no discernible taste! My mate says his fish and chips was very tasty. Lucky him!

Five of us plus a puppy popped in for lunch last week. 2 had small fish and chips (one regretted not getting the larger portion) and one large fish and chips, a scampi and chips and a ham egg and chips. I had the fish (hake) with mushy peas and it was amazing - not greasy or oily at all. The tartar sauce was excellent as well.

After planning a trip to Thirty Five for some time, our Friday evening has left us wondering why we waited so long. This friendly restaurant has the care and talent to turn out plates of food which look and taste stunning.

We have just got back from our meal; Good kids menu, us two adults had Fish and Chips which were both filling and superb. I love my Fish and Chips, coming from Cornwall I thought we had good choices, this blew the socks off of anything before and leaves Rick Steins in Padstow in it's wake! Great food, lovely setting and at a price you can afford!

So glad we found this place as needed lunch after a busy morning walking. Hubby had ham, egg and chips and I had a sandwich with the salad and chips and a nice pot of tea. Portion sizes were good and the staff were quick and very polite.

Tuna sandwich. £4 on its own or £7.95 with fries. Ordered the latter. Came with 9 chips. 40p per chip. I expected a bowl of chips.Very nice sandwich, but sorry, that’s an insult .

This is a quality fish and chip bar, no more no less, no fuss or frills. Good value for a sensible portion of well prepared, non- greasy fish and chips.

Traditional, characterful pub owned and run by a decent man. Good local customers and selection of drinks. No food but if you want a welcome where you dont have to feel like a holidaymaker, this place is for you.

It was a rainy Sunday in Pembrokeshire. We were hungry, and a Google search pointed this place out. We almost knew what to expect and fancied a chinnese. Anyone with physical limitations do not try to access. No lights to the path and pitch dark. Once you're in it's cold and sparse. A few tables to accommodate sit downs but this place runs mostly on take aways. The cook was very busy. A young man taking orders, serving and dealing with customers coming in and out. Bit chaotic. We kept our coats on ate our dishes, which were nicer than expected. Worth a venture ... some fun a bit like faulty towers. We would go back.
