During our holiday i wanted to introduce the family to shooting a shotgun as they only shot airrifles before and it is near impossible to do it in the Netherlands (only laser skeet shooting). A Welsh friend booked for us and we had a blast. Rob was a great teacher and storyteller who did an excellent job at putting everyone at ease and is a prime example of 'don't judge a book by its cover'. Even my 15 year old daughter, who didn't want to shoot at first, was destroying clay pigeons in no time. He also made sure everything went safely. Our party of 5 shot 125 shells which cost us only £20 per person, very affordable. We will definately return next time we visit Wales.

Lovely ground. We visited the area on holiday and they were not scheduled to be open during our stay but on contacting the owner he said come on down and I'll open up for you. Upon meeting us and satisfying himself that we were decent sorts he showed us how to operate the traps, told us the cost per round then simply said have a nice morning gents, tea and coffee etc are in the clubhouse, leave your money on the counter when you leave. Then on trust he simply left us to it, clubhouse open, no one around and we had a great morning shooting with beautiful weather and stunning views over the bay. We are returning to the area next summer and will definately be back.

Can’t believe we have lived 3 miles away from this great place to eat and never visited. We had our first Sunday lunch there and I have to say it was sensational proper home cooked food . A wide choice of Sunday lunch dinners even the vegetarian options looked tempting and we are not vegetarians. Plenty of friendly staff and large portions at good prices. Please don’t be put off by the location or the fact the restaurant is in a large port cabin the quality and homeless exceeds everything and you won’t be disappointed.plus The views are stunning . Booking is a must on peak times as it’s very popular and now I know why. We will be returning soon . The jacksons

Perfect traditional Sunday lunch, lovely rural location, mountains of fresh vegetables, roast and new potatoes and Yorkshire puddings too. An enormous feast, we made a mistake in having starters, which were lovely but just too much. Have to book as this secret place is actually very well known. Only one of the seven diners managed a knickerbocker glory, and he could not finish it. Lamb was perfect, and the gravy is famous! Nice clay shooting ground too with spectacular sea views. Thanks Lisa, see you again in July on our return.

Lisa's restaurant is where we head every week for our Sunday lunch , the food is really beautiful, a good choice of meats , Chicken, Turkey, Beef or Lamb, There are several different vegetables that are served in small dishes so that you can serve yourself the amount you want . The food is always hot and always delicious , The desserts are mouthwatering ,I can recommend the Trifle and the Cheesecake .all homemade. Lisa and her Staff are pleasant and welcoming . Having read a previous review from Ricky E, I wonder if we were at the same place. Our food, there was 4 adults and 2 children, was up to it's usual high standard, the turkey was definitely proper Turkey, and the beef was succulent and definitely not tough, the children had chicken and the plates was soon empty. We cannot comment on the sweet as we were to full after the main course. So don't know where Ricky ate, but whilst we were there no plates were returned inedible.

Went for Sunday lunch today and had the best meal of our weekend in Saundersfoot - Boathouse and Mulberry also sampled. Everything was fresh and superb. Best roast potatoes and parsnips ever... we paid £40 for 3 for soft drinks and a main course plus liqueur coffee for dessert as we were too full for puds. The knickerbocker glories look a maz ing....will certainly go again and thoroughly recommend . Located just outside Amroth the views are fabulous too.

Last weekend I went to Telpyn Shooting Ground as part of stag group. We had a meal at Lisa's prior to any shooting. I had a gammon and it arrived with absolutely everything. Chips, peas, Gammon of course, onion rings, mushrooms, pineapple, tomato it goes on. All of it perfectly cooked. All the meals we ordered and there were 14 of them were perfectly cooked and presented, they were delicious The restaurant is not what it seems and takes place in a portakabin as previously described. So not that grand. There is a downside and that is the toilet block, which can be described as basic and does let down the whole experience. Would I come here for a meal again? I certainly would, it was huge, well cooked and delicious.

We went to Lisa's for Sunday lunch - I had the Christmas special and it was delicious. Very generous portions, all the veggies you could want, and the helpful staff brought me extra cranberry sauce, my favourite. The red wine though, was terribly disappointing. The staff swore the bottle had been opened that day, yet the wine still tasted acidic. I drank it, but certainly wouldn't recommend it. That's a shame, because the food deserved a good red.The location is extremely weird, as described by previous reviewers. It was certainly memorable. For me,this is a winter destination, as the prefab building is warm and snug. The toilets are just like at a lower division ground in the 1970s, as described by a previous reviewer. We'll definitely be back at Lisa's though - recommended!

Once you have passed the happy go lucky 3 legged dog and driven past the derelict hotel you park up outside the static caravan restaurant. The outside toilets are more suited to a third division football stadium in 1973! As other visitors say the family are very friendly and food is hot so if your looking for a very basic meal this is the place. On a positive note the views are stunning!

As the title says the welcome you get from Lisa and her mum Shirley the cook is just like sitting down for Sunday lunch at home...All the waitresses are clued up on every dish ( no running to the kitchen to ask) the portions are humongous and will fill the biggest of appetites .The choice of fresh veg which comes in turines so you decide how much to put on your plate..everything is homemade from scratch ( no frozen food here) the prices are very reasonable for the area .. The specials board is always changing and has something for every taste.. Then we get to the desserts great selection and yet again no small helpings...as for the comment by the first reviewer ( how did it get a 5 star rating?) I say go there and look in detail ( yes it is a portable building) but it's the cleanest portable restaurant I've ever eaten in and I travel over a thousand miles a week for work and I've been in Michelin star restaurants no where near the standard of cleanliness that' you can find in this fantastic eatery ..And just to sum up no I haven't been asked or paid to write this review it's just my own honest review of Lisa's at telpin... May it stay open for years to come

We live over 80 miles east of Amroth and got to know about Lisa's Restaurant purely by chance. I was telling a friend that we were staying in Amroth for a week on holiday when a total stranger interrupted and said "You've got to go to Lisa's Restaurant". She was so adamant that I became so intrigued and had to go to try it out when we were down there. It is set in a stunning location with incredible views. The food is probably of the highest quality I have ever tasted. A superb range on the menu and incredible value for money. Children's portions were huge and I'm only disappointed that we didn't have room to try out her dessert menu. Reading Brian K's review below, I have to agree in a way that the building resembles a transport cafe but I don't care what the place looks like when the food is of such high quality. In fact, reading his review, it doesn't say that he actually ate there. Lisa's needs to be publicised more. Once you go there and speak to her, you will find out the history and the plans for the future. I have told all family and friends who visit the area all about it.

If you're just staying in the area, you prob won't know about it! But if you're a part time local like me, you'll have tried it. Yes it's a portacabin, yes it's small and a bit cramped....and YES you have to go outside to the loo, but the food is fab! Only so far had Sunday lunch, which offers at least 4 meat roasts, salmon and veggie option. Roast pots and parsnips, creamed swede, peas and carrots, cauliflower cheese, yorkshire pud and lashings of delish gravy, all your sauces and condiments and very healthy portions.....but more importantly, it is all served by smiley, helpful and polite waitresses. Lisa herself works very hard in the background, but usually says goodbye when we leave! To top it off there are good school type puds too. I cannot say categorically that everything is local, fresh, and hand cooked, but it certainly tastes like it!!! After your lunch you can take a walk past the new building that is going up, and enjoy one of the most breathtaking views in West Wales. Thank you for a lovely lunch (including half a duck, yum) on Rememberance Sunday...we will be back!
