The best restaurants serving British food in Pembrokeshire West Wales

Lovely menu and nice interiors with clean environment. Food was lovely and would return but maybe on a weekday. I went on a Saturday night and it was a hive or activity which meant it was very loud and more of a pub atmosphere. Getting a drink from the bar was virtually impossible at one stage and the poor bar staff were run off their feet and couldn’t hear properly. Had the bang bang chicken which was really nice and exactly as explained on menu. Not much too much in the way of service which is why I rated it 4 stars but maybe this is because the placed was packed out so everyone was busy! Would have liked to try the desserts but unfortunately no one was around to take our orders. Still lovely little restaurant/bar in a lovely spot especially when the weather is nice

We had a great party - the Greyhound team were friendly, relaxed and just really keen to make sure we had a good time. The food was excellent, the room was perfect and the welcome was warm. Thank you!

What a gem!! I stumbled across Brown’s on my visit to Pembroke and had the most wonderful experience. Delicious traditional lamb cawl for lunch in the gorgeous 50s dining room - just fabulous. Will definitely be returning!

We had the Sunday lunch. The chicken was ready for immediate consumption but the veg took 20 minutes to cook 🤷‍♀️ We also had beef which was reformed. The veg were in foil trays and had to be reheated. Totally tasteless. Later we thought we would try the fish and chips. (We were staying locally.) The chips were soggy, as if they had been left over and re fried in not hot enough old oil. The fish was grey and chewy. Horrible.

Wished to book some rooms here for family upcoming visit but the receptionist was so rude it was actually shocking. What a shame. Will not return. If the face of the hotel is like this then I’d hate to think about the service. Best western was happy to greet me and take my money

First time we came was going to have a pint but decided to have a meal as well. The service was wonderful, the pub is lovely and cosy, it has a beautiful view of the sea where you can take your pints outside. The food was amazing, we will definitely be coming back. Thank you to all the staff for a warm welcome and for the wonderful food.

I have been eating from here for 45 years and they still taste the same! Lovely thing chips that actually taste of potato and are not stuck together in a mess like some places and the fish whilst not massive is always just enough but has the freshest and most lovely delicate flavour with nice batter. This place has queues in summer season for good reason and now also delivers which is great.

Friendly staff, but two of us had lasagne this evening and were really hungry, but could not eat it. Very dry, not a good taste and not feeling too good afterwards. Mentioned when paying and staff said would feed back to the kitchen. First restaurant complaint I have ever made. Would not return.

Beautiful Inn, lovely clean, fresh decor with great views and fabulous owners 👌 Nothing was too much trouble. The prices of food and drinks are very good, we found this an added bonus. Dog friendly too 😍. Will definitely be returning. Highly recommend this place.

I would avoid this place as the land lady gets drunk and has ago at you for driving 20 mph in a 20 mph zone past the job even through they drive faster than that in the 20 zone

Unexpectedly outstanding It is an unpretentious location..out the back of the Holiday Property Bond St Brides Castle. The stylishly decorated room would have wonderful views when it is not dark or raining. The food is brilliant. The local lamb in a very tasty source is amazing. Twice the quantity at half the price of anywhere else. We have visited many times and everything, including challenging items like Calamari are perfectly prepared. Wonderful to find chips dry and crispy on the outside, not mushy inside. The young and enthusiastic 'staff' are very accomplished and provide a 'Michelin' standard of service. A hidden gem …go now before they get that Star!
