Good quality and value overall. Limited menu but what's on offer is generally good and nicely presented with a side salad. Agree with comments by others about tortilla chips, not my favourite either, a few crisps would be nicer. Coffee and cake all ok. Good deal for parking, they don't mind you parking all day provided you have lunch or tea. This is very welcome as all the alternative parking on the estate is National Trust so expensive if you are not a member. They do seem to have a problem with wasps in the garden this year which they need to look into.

The garden is full of angry wasps. We were told by the waiter to go inside with our dog to escape. We were then told by another waitress once we had sat down and paid for our meal that we can come inside but our dog could not! Not at all friendly or helpful. We left taking our food with us. I will not return here again.

So happy to find this little gem still open, we first visited this tea room 38 years ago on our honeymoon! We enjoyed fresh scones, jam and clotted cream with a pot of decaf tea for me and a decaf coffee for hubby and all reasonably priced. The wasps were a nuisance outside so we chose to eat in, it's a traditional house so quite small with limited space but very quaint.

Overpriced food, £19.20 for two ham and cheese "paninis" which were by no means filling. Wasps swarmed around you and your food. You get fairy cakes for £2.50 even though you orderd a proper slice of lemon drizzle. Would not reccomend anything other than coffee. Tea is extortionate

We have been visiting this place for years because we get a proper cup of tea in a big pot made with loose leaf tea and excellent quality cake. I thought the prices were quite reasonable - we both got 3/4 cups each from £2.50 per person. I would suggest to the owners to put a card in the window saying when they are open. We turned up at 10:30 on a Thursday morning and it was closed and found no such information. Friendly staff.

Nice location and pleasant garden for refreshments with friendly staff but the prices for the quality of food were nothing less than a complete rip off taking advantage of the captive audience visiting the nearby lily ponds and beaches. A ‘single’ poached egg on toast cost about £4.70 and consisted of a single not so runny poached egg on a buttered slice of toast with no garnish. A ‘double’ was 2 slices of toast and 2 poached eggs for an amazing £9.00 - I suspect this cost less than £1 to make. Similar prices for other items too. Best advice - take a picnic and sit at the picnic tables near the cafe park for the lily ponds. This cafe is ‘taking the mick’.

Desperate for some lunch after getting lost with two young children in the back of the car with travel sickness, we were so happy to find the tea rooms. However there were no child options on the menu and no offer to perhaps offer half a sandwich as is usual on menus for kids. Ended up paying 39 pounds for 4 sandwiches and a pot of tea! Daylight robbery! And the sandwiches were so unimpressive, made with cheap margarine, normal plain bread and the plainest salad ever! Not even a spoonful of coleslaw to jazz it up and make it a worthy £7.95 sandwich! Should have gone to the pub next door

4 paninis, 1 sandwich, a jam scone and 6 hot drinks for £70.00…?? Well, we thought, they’d better be good. After about 20 mins the hot drinks finally arrived and about another 15 minutes later when we’d finished our drinks, out came the food, finally. The bread was a bit stale, the paninis were cooked to tooth-breaking point, the scone was a bit dry, the salad totally uninspiring and the portions were miserly. We’ll bring a picnic next time.

A very enjoyable, old fashioned traditional cafe with loose leaf tea in a teapot. Lots of little birds that you can handfeed at the table. Friendly helpful staff and good value food and cakes. it's definitely an experience at this cafe and we had lots of fun there. Don't forget to use the tea strainer and the teapot we had, let's just say it was lively on the pour, missing the cup completely and ending up on the table until we got the hang of it. A little bit Alice In Wonderland Mad hatter style! Good parking. We sat outside and the wild wind meant we had to keep a good grip on your things! After a very long walk last Tuesday around the lily ponds we drove here and parked in their car park. We went into the cafe as it was beginning to rain and there appeared to be no seating area. The young woman at the counter took us over to a little shed where there were tables and chairs and a menu and told us to return to the counter to order our food. We did so. The first girl had disappeared and a second woman quite curtly told us they were not serving food. No apology, no offer of tea. I don’t know what time they closed, this was 3.45pm. We left and went to go into the pub next door but there was nowhere to park as the cafe car park next door was for cafe patrons only. Maybe the cafe does not need the business (unbelievable in these supposedly dire times for business’s). We were hungry and thirsty and would have spent over £25 with them. We’d had a fabulous walk but such a shame there was no inviting tea room open. It then took us over an hour of driving round to find somewhere to eat. We ended up at Pembroke Dock in a a nice pub.

Difficult review because the setting is outstanding yet it was let down by the majority of tables being cluttered and dirty. Our server said she would come back to our table to clear and clean it but she didn't, hygiene should be more important now than ever but this aspect of the cafe was poor. Our coffee was at best ok, the temperature was too cool and it lacked flavour. Maybe we caught them on a bad day, they were not understaffed, we will go back and will then alter this review if it's any better. All that being said it was very busy, no real competition, and the staff were pleasant.

This tea room is understandingly popular. It is located in Bosherston on the road to St Govan's chapel and Broadhaven South, near the Lily Ponds. Their standards have been changed to meet the Covid rules. Gone are the cups and saucers, tea pots with proper tea and strainers, replaced by paper cups and teabags. Sad but necessary; we hope that this can be reversed soon. Keep up the good work - well worth a visit.

Visited last Friday for tea. Tea in paper cups I expected a pot and China cups. Scones rather solid, jam poor quality in plastic single portion container, Cornish clotted cream in single portion container. Carrot cake slightly better. The service was poor, some items being tipped off a tray onto the table. They cannot be held responsible for the wasps but some effort to provide traps may have negated the need to consume the tea at a fast walk around the table. Will not be back.
