This is our second visit here, we came last year when visiting the ponds and having read good reviews. The food is very expensive for what you actually get, the carrot cake was pretty dry too. Unfortunately this is the only place we could find to eat near the ponds which is why we found ourselves back here this year. What made the experience even worse was the huge amount of wasps, they were crawling all over the food and where the tables were sticky. The food is expensive and you can’t relax and eat it when you’re constantly having to fend off wasps.

Been visiting this place since 1999.Called today looking forward to the usual menu, unfortunately were pestered by a continuous swarm of bees and found it difficult to eat our food,we then decided to place our food in my wife's cooler bag and eat it back in the car,in the meantime the waitress said that room had come available indoors and helped to take the crockery inside ,we then removed our food from the cooler bag back on to the supplied plates, whilst we started to eat another waitress or proprietor came in and said in an abrupt voice "you are not allowed to eat your own food here" my wife replied we have purchased the food here which as cost £32,we have come inside from the swarm of bees as we did not want to be stung.Fair play to the couple sitting opposite us who supported us and they told the waitress/proprietor why we were eating inside. She went off without appologising.A few minutes later another employee or owner came in and said to us you have upset my staff,we then finished our food and left.We won't be visiting again.

We went to this cafe just after they had stopped serving lunch at 3:30, and ordered cakes and hot drinks. The scones, carrot cake and lemon drizzle were all lovely and we really enjoyed them. However, the coffee was shocking, the lattes and cappuccinos did not resemble what they were meant to be with no frothy milk on either and tasted of nothing but hot milk.

Nice little place just around from the lilyponds at Bosherston. The inside was full up, so we had to sit down in the pavilion, which kind of lowered the atmosphere as it was only us and one other table. I can imagine it's much better atmosphere in the sunshine, as they had loads of outdoor seating! The paninis we had were delicious, would of preferred crisps to nachos with it, but that's just personal preference.

Visited several times over the last few years for lunch/ cream tea when on the way to broad haven south or the lilly ponds. Nice areas inside and out to eat. Food and hot drinks were good and dog friendly. I would recommend it to anyone wanting somewhere to stop on the way to these destinations.

What a lovely place. We sat outside today and had a cream tea (scone, jam, clotted cream with a pot of real, leaf tea) and a tuna melt panini, with another pot of tea. We paid £19 for this. It was all really delicious and so relaxing sitting there in the sun. The people serving and the young waitress were so friendly and service was swift. You can sit inside if you choose, there is a private car park for customers and there are separate male and female toilets that are nice and clean. Really enjoyed and will definitely be going back. Please forgive my wife for not putting the cream on her scone first! 😂

Sadly this has become too overpriced. Nearly £9 for a basic sandwich on sliced bread. Not even fresh bakery bread or anything special. No kids options. Half the menu not available on a sunny Sunday. Staff member who dislikes dogs saying "I hate dogs" whilst serving doesn't make for a welcoming experience. Stackpole Quay or Stackpole inn are nearby and far superior options for lunch.

Good quality and value overall. Limited menu but what's on offer is generally good and nicely presented with a side salad. Agree with comments by others about tortilla chips, not my favourite either, a few crisps would be nicer. Coffee and cake all ok. Good deal for parking, they don't mind you parking all day provided you have lunch or tea. This is very welcome as all the alternative parking on the estate is National Trust so expensive if you are not a member. They do seem to have a problem with wasps in the garden this year which they need to look into.

The garden is full of angry wasps. We were told by the waiter to go inside with our dog to escape. We were then told by another waitress once we had sat down and paid for our meal that we can come inside but our dog could not! Not at all friendly or helpful. We left taking our food with us. I will not return here again.

So happy to find this little gem still open, we first visited this tea room 38 years ago on our honeymoon! We enjoyed fresh scones, jam and clotted cream with a pot of decaf tea for me and a decaf coffee for hubby and all reasonably priced. The wasps were a nuisance outside so we chose to eat in, it's a traditional house so quite small with limited space but very quaint.

Overpriced food, £19.20 for two ham and cheese "paninis" which were by no means filling. Wasps swarmed around you and your food. You get fairy cakes for £2.50 even though you orderd a proper slice of lemon drizzle. Would not reccomend anything other than coffee. Tea is extortionate

We have been visiting this place for years because we get a proper cup of tea in a big pot made with loose leaf tea and excellent quality cake. I thought the prices were quite reasonable - we both got 3/4 cups each from £2.50 per person. I would suggest to the owners to put a card in the window saying when they are open. We turned up at 10:30 on a Thursday morning and it was closed and found no such information. Friendly staff.

A very enjoyable, old fashioned traditional cafe with loose leaf tea in a teapot. Lots of little birds that you can handfeed at the table. Friendly helpful staff and good value food and cakes. it's definitely an experience at this cafe and we had lots of fun there. Don't forget to use the tea strainer and the teapot we had, let's just say it was lively on the pour, missing the cup completely and ending up on the table until we got the hang of it. A little bit Alice In Wonderland Mad hatter style! Good parking. We sat outside and the wild wind meant we had to keep a good grip on your things! Difficult review because the setting is outstanding yet it was let down by the majority of tables being cluttered and dirty. Our server said she would come back to our table to clear and clean it but she didn't, hygiene should be more important now than ever but this aspect of the cafe was poor. Our coffee was at best ok, the temperature was too cool and it lacked flavour. Maybe we caught them on a bad day, they were not understaffed, we will go back and will then alter this review if it's any better. All that being said it was very busy, no real competition, and the staff were pleasant.

Excellent coffee. Nicely served in proper cups. Sandwiches OK but a bit too much butter or spread for my liking. Not necessary really with fillings like coronation chicken and tuna mayo. Bit disappointed, great location but lots and lots of plastic and waste with my cream tea (paper cup with plastic lid, paper plate, plastic knife, plastic jam, cream and UHT milk in little plastic cartons) Not sure if its due to covid or shortage of dish washing staff but it felt cheap compared to the overall cost.
