What a find! Great selection of seafood on offer, beautifully chilled on crushed ice counter & displayed with labels. We bought dressed crab, the best we’ve eaten. The lovely friendly ladies unwrapped & prepared for us to eat straight away. There was lemon juice, salt & pepper on offer to add on yourself & the ladies warned us luckily of the diving seagulls waiting to swoop & snatch.
Absolutely amazing service and food. I was going around in circles on the internet trying to find fresh fish for a special dinner. I went old school and picked up the phone. The lovely lady who answer the phone could not have been mor! Helpful. We bought 2 cooked lobsters and two tubs of white crab. It was so delicious and a good price. Also helped me find some other fish locally which was way over and above. I’d highly recommend heading to Little haven and stopping here. Top notch all around. Thank you ❤️❤️
A fantastic holiday spot for families. Really nicely done, not too commercial with excellent facilities and lovely staff. My daughter fell over at the park and came into the coffee shop in tears and the lovely staff (at 10am) offered her a free ice cream to cheer up. It was Easter holidays and well appreciated. Beautiful trails and natural Pembrokeshire beauty.
Fab, cosy, quaint, and delightful owners. Great food, goid prices and very comfy.
This is a hidden treasure, has lots of beautiful art done by Jane, one of the owners her food is as tasty as the art beautiful, stunning location next to the river, plenty of seating, outside, in the individual rooms or the dining area.
Absolutely going to go again and again.
This property is currently for sale as a going concern, i wish i was ten yrs younger and in good health.
It it the kind of business you dream of, perfect
Wonderfully welcome staff especially as they had only just opened. Had a lovely coffee and piece of locally made Barrabreith with proper butter ... thank you x
Very friendly snack bar ( alfresco eating ). Excellent food, great service, and all with a happy smile. Just keep a wary eye out for sneaky seagulls. Great views at the benches surrounding the little harbour, and sands. We had cheese and ham toastie and coffee in the sunshine . Great on all counts.
The Bothy Tea Room were an unexpected but pleasant surprise. Situated at the Colby Woodland Gardens, what set the tearooms apart from typical cafés at National Trust grounds was the array of loose leaf teas on the menu. There were some delightful-sounding herbal brews, of which we only time to try one, in addition to their black tea house blend.
All teas and cakes were served in bone china, which made the tea-drinking experience truly decadent.
There was a good freshly-baked cake selection too, which perfectly complemented their teas. For a tea and cake-focussed room, they had some surprisingly inventive bread rolls and baguettes, too.
Service was polite and helpful, and the staff managed well during the busy time we visited.
Located at the Colby Woodland Gardens, the location was perfect for lunch during the middle or at the end of a walk. It does become very busy during the middle of the day, though. There is a little indoor seating, with many more benches outside.
We were delighted to have lunch and tea here, and would fully recommend it!
Thoroughly enjoyed our recent visits to The Ship Aground whilst staying in our bungalow in the area. As always, we received a warm welcome from Julian, Alison, the rest of the team and the locals, with the beer to its' usual high standard. The place was buzzing on the occasions we visited and I only wish that this pub was in Cardiff!! Looking forward to our next visit.
Just been to Morgans for lunch. The food was cooked to perfection and the staff are all so friendly. Highly recommend this eatery as probably the best I have ever had. Thank you.
This was our second visit to this superb Restaurant,we had previously been there for a Sunday Lunch. We went as a family for dinner. As before the food was first class. The service was so very good. The dinning room has a very comfortable feel to it and leads to a very relaxed atmosphere. We all left with a determination to return when we can.
My husband & I visited Coco's twice during our visit to Dale, whilst walking the coastal path. Such fantastic food and wonderful hospitality. We'd highly recommend both the pizzas and small plates. Just wonderful.
I visited yesterday with friends and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. It was years since I’d been and the level of service was as good as I remembered. The students and lecturers were attentive, polite and friendly. Most of the food was excellent, there were just a couple of little things not right, such as the pigs in blankets were undercooked. Overall a good experience.
OMG !!!!!!!! What a roast dinner!!!!!! Had 2 adults dinners (1 pork & 1 beef) & a child's chicken dinner & needless to say, we've eaten our food, thoroughly enjoyed it, to the point of already booking in again for next week!!!!
