Excellent breakfast generous portions and we'll cooked. Very pleasent atmosphere. Staff very cheerful and efficient. I wholeheartedly recommend this lovely setting.

Rang the cafe , dont do bookings just turn up they said . Got there 11:45 for carvery sunday lunch . A couple of tables reserved so they put alonside the cuttlery and condiment table . Ordered the roast but none left .All a bit greasy spoon and not very clean and comfortable . Left and wenr to the Aberguan hotel restaurant , outstanding roast dinner .

Well, I like trying different cafe's. In this case I am glad I did. The Latte is heaven and all the different ' brunches ' we tried between us where also heaven. The same as the home made cakes etc. Guess what as well, the staff are also fantastic. Definitely will be re-visiting. To the owner and staff, be proud and well done.

Having read some great reviews we wanted to try the Old Station Cafe. Plenty of parking by the station and fairly roomy inside too. When you enter though it smells of fat and grease - and not a pleasant smell. (Does the air ventilation in place work?) We found a table and went to order our food. I had a 6oz cheese burger and my wife a deli wrap. It was very busy at lunchtime and we waited around 15/20 minutes for the food. First of all the fried food tasted of well used oil. It's not a pleasant taste. The burger was fine - but came with no garnish apart from some watery homemade looking coleslaw. Plenty of thick chips too. My wife's wrap was good too, but there was way too much garnish as the wrap had a similar amount within. Staff were pleasant, but rushed off their feet. If the cafe didn't smell of grease and oil and the food similarly we would probably return.

Excellent efficient and extremely good food. We had coffee and a small and medium breakfast between the two of us which was really hot and presented very well. The staff were friendly and deliver the food quickly. Great place for breakfast which we found only by chance with with luck we will call again when we are in this area.

We drank a coffee at one of the outdoor tables while the very helpful staff made us some sandwiches for our train journey. We were very glad to have them, as we had a total of five hours travel on three trains to get home and no catering on any of them!

This quaint little cafe is sited near the railways station and is decorated throughout with railway memorabilia. There is outdoor seating and plenty of tables inside. We had lunch, a fish finger sandwich and salad which was delicious. Great quality and price.

Ate here after a long walk around the coast path, warm welcome and lovely hot coffee. We had a breakfast baguette and a bacon & mushroom sandwich on brown. Food was freshly cooked, piping hot and good quality bacon used. Only one tiny negative please upgrade the Ketchup its awful - such a shame to spoil good quality food with cheap vinegary ketchup!!

Staff very stand offish and unhelpful. cups just “ dumped” on the tablenot impressed,,would not rush back there.

Friends and I travelled from Kent to visit a friend living in Goodwick and whom we hadn’t seen for over 40 years. The Old Station Cafe was the fitting place to meet for our reunion! Comfortable, clean, great service, airy, super tasty home-cooked food and smiles from genial service, particularly Megan who was ever attentive to our needs. With apologies for staying well over an hour and with full stomachs and three mugs of tea each under our belts, we bade farewell. We’ll surely visit again. A great culinary experience.

This is a wonderful little café, well worth a visit- excellent breakfasts, particularly impressed with the veggie option, which had great veggie sausages. Generous portions and so friendly and welcoming, really lovely staff, even our grumpy 7 year old son warmed to our friendly waitress. Thank you so much, we'll be back!

Good value for money food, perfect for a day out. Not anything special but good all the same. Local, fresh, whole milk served with tea and coffee.

We were recommended this cafe by some old dears in the village on a Sunday morning and wasn’t disappointed. We had 6 full English breakfasts served outside in a jiffy and it was excellent.The staff were lovely and helpful and we even had a giggle....

Well we think this is the best Sunday lunch for many miles. There is a generous amount of meat and the tastiest and freshest vegetables. We had takeaway for 5 inc. one veggie and everyone was silent whilst we tucked in. That says it all....

I just have to say, I had the best roast dinner ever, I had the Beef Roast that just melted in your mouth, my husband had the Lamb and it was the same. This was a lovely ending to a fabulous weekend.Would definitely recommend it.Thank you ps I had load of beef and a lovely gravy boat.....

Had a great breakfast here, well cooked and proper ingredients thick bacon and tasty eggs. Nice quiet location next to the railway station. Well worth a visit, easy to customise breakfast. Coffee was tasty too.

Had my breakfast slash lunch here. I was so impressed by the lady of owner how gladly she helped me and welcomed me. And the food was a honest good and filling breakfast. Enjoyed it very much. So not pretentious but so wel taken care off, I was impressed and though it poured outside and was windy, I stepped out to further hike the Pembrokeshire Coast Path but with a warm feeling. Having visited Goodwick for more than 10 years by car The Old Station Cafe came as a complete surprise. My daughter came down by train and we met her only to smell bacon cooking and discovered the cafe. We tried a very tasty small breakfast and then two days later when our daughter was catching the train back the medium breakfast. The quality, speed of service and the cheerful staff ensure people return time again. Next time we will book in advance for the Sunday roast. See you Whitsun!

Been here twice now and would highly encourage people to eat here. Service is quick, clean and very tasty. Great value too as the meals are a good size! Friendly staff and super yummy food. I love the burgers here as not greasy and the sweet potato fries are sooo good. My Husband loved the full breakfast and he wants to go back for a third time. Convenient as a meet up place too when you come off the train or before you set off. I notice the local police pop in here for their lunch and workmen.

Working locally and stumbled across this cafe and wow brilliant welcome and food, be going back very soon.

Always delivers excellent meals and has a wide varied menu -yet to have the famous Sunday roast. Staff very accommodating even if it's late in the day. Roasts must be booked in advance as often sell out.

Me and my wife had a bacon butty each all fat trimed and was cooked great we had it on toast and the bacon was nice and thick all cooked fresh.

A lovely place that does delicious and great value cooked breakfast. Half of us had the veggie breakfast, half the full english, all enjoyed it!

We have been meaning to eat here all week after chancing upon it during a walk around the harbour. We both chose the medium breakfasts and they did not disappoint. A great way to set us up for another day of sightseeing. The hash browns and bacon were particularly good. The staff were very friendly and chatty too. The menu gives a good choice but do arrive sharpish if you want a Sunday roast as they were sold out before 1pm. It is a popular place and I can see why.

Struggling to find somewhere to eat after driving around Fishguard yesterday afternoon, we happened upon this lovely cafe sharing the Fishguard/Goodwick railway station, free parking by the way.The lady who served us was so pleasant, she is the kind if person who restores your faith in humankind. Menu excellently varied, food superb standard, hospitality heartwarming. Thank you for being the light at the end of our tunnel! Will definitely return xx

We called in for breakfast on the way home from our holiday. The staff are fantastic, so kind and thoughtful - we were outside with the dog and they immediately brought fresh water for the dog without us even asking. The breakfasts were great and kept us both going all day. This is our fifth visit and it is consistently excellent and very good value.

Called in for breakfast on our bikes. We were warmly welcomed and the food was good. Could do with more fresh ingredients (eg tomatoes) and more meaty sausages. It seemed to be very popular with locals.

We came across this little cafe by accident - it’s rather hidden away by the railway station car park, but we noticed a board on the main road. It’s quite close to the Stena Line ferry terminal, it would be worth their while putting a board or advert up there for the people waiting for the ferries. We sat outside in the sunshine under a brolly and checked menus and clocked the look of the food coming out. What a choice! All home made, generous portions. We ordered a lasagne and a ‘Special’ of chicken curry. Absolutely delicious, one of the best meals out we’ve had for ages (& we eat out a lot!). Lovely, friendly service, nothing too much trouble, fresh crispy salad with homemade coleslaw (as well as chips) with the lasagne, and terrific value for money. Wish we lived closer, we’d be there every day! Well done, ladies!

Lovely staff and prompt service. Plenty of choice for adults and kids and very reasonably priced. Huge portions and well presented meals. And most importantly (in my opinion) - great coffee!! Will be back soon!

We visit the Station Cafe regularly as a family and solo .The food is always fresh and tasty with a varied menu and regular specials .Prices are very good with large portionsThe staff are always friendly , polite and very helpful .Sunday lunches are extremely popular and sell out every week , so to meet demand they now also do a mid week roast .Why not give it a try and judge for yourself .P.S. free parking

We were staying with friends and decided on New Years Day to all go for breakfast. There were 12 of us. We got squeezed in and had a lovely breakfast with lovely service from the ladies working. They were very busy that morning (lunchtime) but managed to produce some very nice breakfasts for us all. We returned the next day - just the two of us ( joking thay the others were on their way!). Well run and very pleasant food and staff.

I had a day off this week and popped in to try the breakfast wrap on a friends advice, and I have to say it was excellent. The ladies were warm and welcoming, and the old pictures of the station kept me entertained while waiting for my food.10/10

I arrived at Fishguard and Goodwick station with half an hour before my train was due and as the Old Station Cafe was there I decided to get a coffee while I waited. I went in and I noticed bacon rolls on the menu so I ordered one with a coke instead of a coffee. I asked if they could cook the bacon crispy and they answered yes they could. I went and found a seat and before long my bacon roll was served. I took the top of the bun off and to put a dollop of red sauce in and I noticed that the bacon had no fat on it and there were about four thick cut rashers between the bun halves. All cooked to perfection. This wasn't a bacon roll. It was heaven on a plate. I voted it the best bacon roll that I have ever had and I'm sixty two with plenty of bacon rolls behind me. It was perfection indeed. The coke helped to wash it down and when I had finished the superior bacon roll I noticed that my train was due in five minutes. With that thought I bade the girls at the counter farewell and I walked to the platform to catch my train. Who would have thought that the best cafe in the British Isles would be at the end of the line in Wales. I just hope to visit again and soon.

Very friendly service and a well cooked breakfast for the price. Woukd be better if the sausages had been more farmhouse and the tomatoes fresh rather than tinned.

First time customer yesterday, a Sunday, as working in the area.Was only after a bacon butty and a coffee to takeaway.The place was full and the staff were working like mad to keep up with demand but that did not stop the excellent service and very competent and friendly staff.WILL be calling again when I have more time for a sit down meal.Thank you. :)

Came here in 2016, so had to visit again, after doing the Marine walk, we stopped off for a bite to eat, I had a cheese and onion baguette and my partner had Bacon and Mushroom, served with a few onion rings and a few extras. Made it look and taste delicious with the extras. Really is a little gem that also do Sunday lunch, breakfasts, a good variety of choice, it's clean and tidy with excellent staff, nothing to much trouble, and very busy, if your ever in this next of the woods, give it a try, cannot fault the Old Station Cafe.

a superb example of recycling: a lovely café made out redundant station space. the café is unexpectedly spacious, but it is easy to favour the seating outside on a sunny day. i have only eaten the all day breakfast: many times because they are so good. i am a vegetarian, which is no problem here; even the veg sausages are of the highest quality; extra hash browns a must! the staff are always very friendly and service is fast. the station car park is free; and 1 can eat outside in the company of darren yeadon's station cat sculpture - a mouser from the last century!

got a Sunday lunch takeaway when camping locally. great value and nice to have a roast in a tent . food was well packaged and gravy was put in a separate container

We do live locally but rarely eat out - this cafe is great and we will be eating there again! A good menu to choose from, friendly staff and nicely presented food. This is our favourite local cafe, highly recommended! We had our car with us and our dog, it was great to be able to park nearby and keep an eye on the dog. The cafe was busy with lots of locals buying take always for lunch - always a good sign when the locals use a place!

Really fantastic breakfast every time we go. Quality ingredients (especially the bacon!), service with a smile and pleasant surroundings make this in my opinion the best breakfast destination in Fishguard / Goodwick.

Great for grabbing a coffee for the train or even having a snack. Very popular with locals too. And I think £1.80 for a caramel latte is reasonable.

First time eating at this establishment, everyone we ve spoken to has recommended this place; the only reason that a 3 star rating has been given is that they were very slow in service, once the food was received it was very good.

Really lovely atmosphere, friendly staff, good choice on the menu and reasonably priced. Food is tasty and freshly cooked to order. Nice and clean inside, plenty of free parking outside.

Excellent food. We have had on a number of occasions a bacon bap which is the best that I have tasted, with the bread roll slightly toasted, thick sliced of the best bacon.
