Wow, what a cute cafe. We cycled up, had the best cake and coffee we’ve had in Wales. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 Friendly staff and owner. Perfect

Excellent, couldn't recommend more.

We stay in God's Country West Wales three times a year and pop in for a coffee and a cake here every time - The staff are very welcoming and the quality of what we have is excellent...I recommend anyone passing to stop off and enjoy the experience. Phil from Bristol and Judy from Cardiff and Miss T who is always welcomed our Ridgeback from Scotland.

Lovely place to eat, we had afternoon tea which was lovely and plenty. At same time lots of other people came and went having various food in nice atmosphere. Recommend, we will return.

Called in on an impulse while working in the area. Had a ham salad, massive portion and it was all really tasty. Highly recommend, added to my sat nav favourites so I can call in again.

Lovely little cafe in a pleasant little rural town square. Welsh-speaking is common, which makes a nice change to the south of the county.

A lovely place to visit in the Preseli Hills. I had coffee while waiting for family, and Coronation Chicken & Salad for lunch. Very nice staff and relaxed atmosphere.

We just love coming here. The staff are friendly and the food is fab . We just can't pass on a bakewell , scrumptious. Whenever we are in the area we just have to drop in.

Heard many good reports about Caffi'r Sgwar so a group of us decided to give it a go and we were not disappointed friendly polite staff plus a great welcome from a couple of locals who made us feel very much at home we will definitely return.

Absolutely lovely find, have driven past many a time but this is the first we have stopped. Such a fantastic Pla e to eat, superb homemade food and very reasonable prices and good portion sizes. The puddings are to die for xx Homemade fudge and local on offer to x

I stopped at Cafe Sgwar yesterday whilst out on a bike ride. The small breakfast was ideal and delicious as was the coffee. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful and I would highly recommend this cafe and will be returning soon.

Omg this little caffi is lovely. Worth a visit. Food was brilliant. Catered for my awkward needs. Hubby drives past sometimes in the bwcca bws and kept meaning to go to it. Glad we did go to it.

All the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. They've been absolute gems whilst dealing with my gluten free requests. Good value for money and great portions!

We're only visiting the area but this cafe is wonderful and worth traveling for the staff are wonderful and kind. The cakes are a pure delight as well as reasonably priced. The coffee is delicious with a vast selection of flavours of syrups. I personally recommend the fudge it is addictive 😋. There is so much choice here it is unbelievable there is something for everybody. We hope to visit again soon.

What a charming little cafe in a pretty location. We were lucky enough to visit on a beautifully sunny day so sat outside but inside would've been just as lovely. The coffee & lunches were delicious & very good value for money. We are hoping to visit again for afternoon tea.

Yesterday was my first visit to Maenclochog for the annual Preseli Beast run. Caffi'r Sgwar put on free cawl which was amazing and the staff were so friendly and supportive will be back 🍰☕👌

Lovely little place, friendly staff and excellent food! We had a very reasonably priced lunch but had to stay away from the dessert stand - next time!! This might be a bit too local for my waistline. A bonus for me was that our hot food was served on hot plates - da iawn Caffi'r Sgwar.

This place was so good. Went for a fryup on our first day camping down the road and was lush. The staff we're so friendly and accomodating. Food was delicious! I'd totally recommend the milkshakes. They're second to none!

Another lovely visit to this friendly cafe with my boy and his friend. Breakfast was amazing and my son being vegetarian was delighted to have delicious sausage on his plate. Definitely worth a visit staff always friendly and helpful. The jackson family

Caffi'r Sgwar is a central cafe on the square in Maenclochog. It serves lunches and snacks and is a popular meeting place for visitors and locals alike. Staff are friendly, efficient and the food very good with cakes to die for! It is Covid aware with indoor and outdoor tables.

Stayed in maenchlogog for a few days and walked to this fabulous friendly cafe. 3 breakfasts consumed here and a lovely piece of homemade apple pie. 😋😋😋 Very accommodating when I asked for an off the menu omelette And it was delicious 😋 Look forward to coming back here soon. Love Emma and Mitch.

I enjoyed my breakfast, helpful and friendly staff. Food looked good and tasted great. Premises are clean and welcoming. Benches outside so I ate Al fresco in the sun. Will be back for another visit in the near future.

Best breakfast in Maenclochog by a Country Mile. They just opened for eating inside, sat in last Friday and brekkie was awesome. Roll on Friday. 😋😋😋

We got out sarnies from here. Nice selection and well filled. Hand sanitiser at the door and limited people in the shop. Picnic tables outside or across the street or choose your favourite bench in the village.

Open on 27th December, most other places we tried were closed. Delicious Ham Cawl with bread and cheese, on a cold, foggy day. Proper homemade cakes on the counter, and lovely friendly staff. This café is on our list of best places to eat.
