Westgate House in Pembrokeshire

Inasmuch as there are lovely places to eat in Tenby, Westgate House is a very cool and trendy place, Where the staff are pleasant and hospitable, and sometimes even funny. The food is beautiful and individually cooked. The are meat-free options on everything. The hot drinks are gorgeous and the alcoholic drinks are top of the range and done to order. Highly recommended.

Probably one of the best places in Tenby for cocktails made with generous amounts of top-of-the-line spirits. You have to try their spicy margarita (with Patron), you won’t regret it! Decor and music create a fun and welcoming atmosphere. Food looks delicious but have only popped in for drinks so far. A must visit if you’re in Tenby for the day.

Popped in this place for some cocktails before dinner and we were blown away at how incredible the cocktails were!! Really, really good and the lady who served us was lovely. Will definitely be back soon !

Excellent food at reasonable prices with pleasant staff and owners. Cosy atmosphere well worth a visit. Food is superb witch is traditional but with a twist.

Wonderful atmosphere in an interesting and quirky vintage vibe with simple tasty home made food well presented and in good portions. Excellent fruit smoothies too, our daughter loved the Berry one. All the staff were very welcoming and friendly. We would love to visit every week but unfortunately we live 4.5 hours away. We hope to see you next year.

Absolutely brilliant! Best scrambled eggs and bacon in many a long year. Coffee was delicious and the kids milkshakes barely touched the sides. Lovely place, splendid ambience … would love to come back for an evening out. Adults only time! 😁

Good food but very expensive.£12 for a piece of quiche some coleslaw and a few salad leaves. My husband had a fish finger sandwich and that cost the same. Too much.

Went here for lunch, amazing atmosphere! Food was unreal, so tasty! The coffee is the best I've had in a long time and it's nice to go somewhere where you can chill out. Staff were super friendly and service was excellent. I highly recommended the cocktails aswel, we felt so relaxed after our lunch and coffee we chilled and had spicy margaritas, the owner made them, she definitely knows her stuff when it comes to cocktails. Didn't have food great selection of coffee and cakes

I ordered waffles and bacon for breakfast, expecting fluffy waffles with maple syrup. I was given desert sugar waffles, only thing missing was the ice-cream. Not something I wanted for breakfast

Great spot for crab sandwiches and a nice chilled glass of white wine. Worth a trip. Looked this place before we came to Tenby. Looks like they make good cocktails too. Quick attentive service.

Great location, good menu and nice decor… but found one of the two waitresses to be quite surly and unfriendly. Furthermore, service was slow, one of our menu choices was unavailable and one of our orders was incorrect when it was served. Food was mediocre and overpriced but drinks were good. All in all it was a disappointing experience.

Love this place and the staff Coffee is made to perfection The food is top tier I'm very fond of the homemade corned beef pie and the quiche. The atmosphere is very calming but enjoyable for a nice lunch with a very vibrant decor. I always leave with a smile and a full belly.

We were visiting Tenby when we came across it. We saw they were serving crab sandwiches so decided to go in. The place was clean and we were welcome by a lovely staff member. We ordered the sandwiches, 2 glasses of wine and some coffee. All were very good. A nice place to stop when you want to eat or have a drink

Came here for lunch on a rainy afternoon. Found a table in the window to watch the world go by and ordered some tea while we dried out. Decided to stay for lunch and ordered the Halloumi salad. It was really good. A great salad with lots of halloumi and dressing. A friendly cafe, good value and excellent food. We will definitely return.

Great cakes and lovely coffee, the colours and decor are amazing, the atmosphere is relaxing with great staff too look after you. Nice selection of cocktails and beers. A must to unwind or just sit and watch the world go by.

I’m a Tenby local and I’ve been coming to Westgate House for years. Impeccable standards on food, drinks and customer service. The owners are warm and welcoming as well as all her friendly staff, even when the place is packed! Also, very accommodating to vegans and other dietary requirements 😊

Stumbled upon this place on the way to beach and all I can say is wow!! From the moment we entered the service was nothing but amazing, the staff were so welcoming despite it being so busy. There was lots to offer on the menu, everything looked and sounded delicious so making a choice was hard. I decided on the smokey home made beans with poached eggs on sourdough and OMG it was unreal. The cocktail menu had so choice that we decided to stay for a few. The Porn Star Martin’s were 10/10. I highly recommend a visit here if you are in Tenby the food is tasty, the drinks are good and the staff are so lovely.

Visited on the first day of our visit to Tenby. We waited an hour for food then my daughters was wrong. The food was ok, just the service let the experience down. Probably won’t return, simply because there is so much choice

No wonder they have five stars from all reviews to date! Absolutely smashing cafė, with lovely staff and superb, freshly-prepared food. They even brought water for the dog before I had a chance to ask. What a pleasure it is to still find proper cafės that want to provide great service and top quality food. My partner had the baked Camembert with chili jam, and I had a prawn sandwich on the lightest of fresh bread, with a side of potato salad. It was all wonderful. Great location too. Highly recommended!
