I called in with my parents on a Wednesday night. Do no pass this pub up, the food is all homemade and so delicious (the chips are amazing) and the staff are so friendly and welcoming. We visited while on holiday and hope that next time we're in the area, the pub is open so we can visit again. Thank you so much for a lovely evening out

Great traditional pub with interesting characters and friendly atmosphere?

Firstly the food took 40 minutes to arrive. Once it finally arrived the food was not great at all. Two of four roast potatoes were insipid and not at all crispy. There was only 4 roast between two people which is simply not enough especially as two were rubbish! This was brought to the attention of our server…she claimed they had no more and she could put the gravy covered one back into the oven! She was rude and unhelpful and dishonest because I watched more roast come out of the kitchen. All in all a bad experience and tourist or not we deserved far more for our money! The meat was reheated and overcooked…it didn’t taste good

Went to walk in holding my little dog in my arms to see if I could be served. I saw the “no dogs sign”, but just wanted to ask as there was nowhere to tie him up outside and I was on my own and hungry. Next minute the member of staff member behind the counter, shouted at me telling me to “get out”, causing all patrons in there to stop and stare. I asked if they could take my order and that he was calm and wouldn’t cause a fuss and again I was shouted at to get out. Awful service.

We had to sit out the back as we had a dog . Couldn’t fault the food was really good . The worst thing was the pigeons they were horrendous. They kept coming up to the table we kept shewing them away but they kept returning . Totally put us of our food . Really think they need to sort this problem out. We have had friends going there and they have said the same

After having enjoyable experience with my wife at the weekend in the Mariners, when full. Forget it when quieter in the week! In fairness, the Gaffer wasn't there, BUT a group of 2 or 3 lads were f...ing and blinding at the top of their voices. On going, no restraint or advice from anyone. Totally disrespectful and uncalled for. Don't bother going in. We won't. Crap.

We have recently moved into the area and have had a few meals at St. Brides Inn, Little Haven. We have to say the staff are very friendly and attentive. Having visited on several occasions, we highly recommend the food. Comming from the United States, the salad is the best I have tasted in the UK. They have made my husband a salad lover...he hardly touched salad before having one of St. Brides Inn salads. If you love fresh fish, lobster and crab....this is the place to visit.

From the moment we stepped in on our first night of our holiday we knew this would be a regular haunt. A proper pub, no food, cash only, a free duke box. The beer was great, and the landlady was welcoming and friendly, as were the locals, even though we were English! My Daughter fell in love with Dennis the dog, and after 2 tours of duty as a mine search dog, we couldn’t give this pooch enough love! Genuinely we love this pub. Historic with amazing atmosphere and close to the historic harbour it’s a highly recommended from us!

Excellent lunch. Very friendly staff who were helpful and welcoming. Have seen the pub many times on years visiting Pembroke dock but never been in. It’s was buzzing with a great atmosphere at lunch time and great selection of hearty classic pub food options which was exactly what we wanted. Would definitely come back.
