Best water-based hot chocolate I have ever had. No self-respecting coffee shop would make hot chocolate with powder + water. They do. Flat white and americano OK. Cantucci biscuit a bit soft. Looked nice, turned out average. Sadly places like that are the reason why coffee chains strive

Don't bother. £2.50 for a tin of coke. Coffee expensive and very average. Staff lifeless, lacklustre and demotivated. Served coffee in a paper mug. Pretty venue, nice gazebo outside for protection from the rain. Steps are very steep to upstairs kitchen/serving counter, not suitable for disabled or young children. Too many tables and chairs packed into a very small space. Que leads between tables making a very awkward experience.

(Pebbles Yard is the middle orange stone building with the awning in the picture). We wanted to stop for refreshments, where we could sit outside with our dog reactive dog. It was quiet (early November Sunday) under the awning, so gave it a go. We ordered a decaf cappuccino and a chocha mocha, and they were delicious. We didn't order any cake, but it was available. Outside has a awning and big wall, so it shelters you from the elements. Thoroughly enjoyable experience.

We called in here, hoping to have lunch. Unfortunately they were understaffed and the young man was alone, so could only do drinks. He had run out of cake and couldn't make snacks, as he couldn't leave the counter. We had takeaway drinks which were fine but it was disappointing that we couldn't have more. Well done to the young man managing on his own.

This used to be our favourite dog friendly coffee shop and we have visited on our holidays for the last 8 years. Last year the upstairs was closed, we assumed after covid. We tried again this year for coffee and lunch, to be told the kitchen was closed 18 months ago and the only tables are downstairs in the shop, with no windows and coffee and cake only. We left as we wanted food but could see someone upstairs enjoying a coffee. Went straight to the pub next door for an excellent lunch. Won't be trying Pebbles again. So disappointing.

Don't think the chap working upstairs is happy in his work, it was as much as he could do to make us a pathetically weak cup of expensive coffee! My husband asked for the card receipt and his answer was....It's too much bother to do those.... of course when he came to the table and I asked how much he had paid I realised why he had not wanted to give a receipt as he had overcharged us by 80p..... I went up to tell him and straight away he said 'Oh I owe you 80p'.... so he knew what he had done! A lady sitting at the next table lent over and whispered....Happy isn't he'. We will not go there again.... Did mention it to the chap working downstairs.... Maybe they had had a row?

A wet morning in St David’s.. fond memories of Pebbles.. arrived at 5 mins to 10am(door open) told rather abruptly to wait outside as they weren’t ready .. Others were gathering and told tersely at 10.05am .. they still ‘weren’t ready’ ..I continued to wait,.. watched as a family of 6, who obviously didn’t like this abrupt attitude marched off in search of customer consideration elsewhere. Finally they said they were ‘Open’ 👍 I asked if they had any sandwiches.. As a bleary eyed camper, I’d failed to read the two BIG signs outside which said the kitchen was closed. Again this information was delivered in a confrontational way.. So! All that waiting and preparation… to serve coffee! I left, and said why I was leaving. Which was met with a cheery “Goodbye” All piffling I guess, but the complacent, off hand attitude of the staff was appalling. Someone needs a career change, preferably not customer facing.! Tables uncleared, rubbish on the floor and just to top it all overhead the owner say to the proprietor next door ‘ I’m closed now, sold out of everything - had enough of this nonsense’ as he gestured and scanned about at his customers. He didn’t think anyone had noticed or heard but I did!! Not a great attitude is it considering this is his business and he relies on his paying customers!! We have always visited here for a coffee when in the area but sadly this visit was a let down, they were moderately busy with tables outside full and a couple of tables inside occupied but even with 3 staff they are woefully slow, the young man making a sandwich finished that and then instead of helping his colleague filled paper cups with jam or cream 30mins before closing!!! She had to ask him to help her fulfill the order while he was standing doing nothing and I wouldn't like to say how many people walked back out after seeing the queue and speed of service (or lack of) not helped by a lack of table service (apart from sandwiches etc) only a counter service. This intriguing venue proves that if you’re the only place open for lunch in town, you can be the most popular. I wasn’t too concerned about the 2 out of 5 hygiene rating sticker in the window, hidden by the wheelie bin out front, after all, we have so far luckily survived the first wave of Corona. I only noticed it because we spent 25 minutes waiting for two sandwiches to be made for takeaway. And we can’t blame the chef for coming down, chatting to people for 5 minutes while we waited, slamming his foot into the bin to compact its contents. He was explaining how difficult it was to get back up to speed after so long off work. I suspect it would have been easier if he stayed in the kitchen while customers were waiting for orders, but we can’t blame the guy for being social I suppose. My wife’s can of Diet Coke tasted funny, and upon inspection was almost three months out of date. We would have driven it back to the shop, but didn’t have time to wait another 25 minutes for a replacement. Evidence attached. St David’s is lovely though, I would just recommend importing your own picnic. It would be quicker and safer than visiting here.

We were in St Davids on a unfortunately a wet Monday10th morning and decided we would have a coffee and get out of the rain so we popped into the first available cafe which was Pebbles Yard Gallery And Espresso Bar. As you walk in there is the gallery (offers local photographer of photographic images ,prints and books also exhibits art by ceramists, jewellers and artists) where you can have a drink or go upstairs for a drink and food (panini, sandwich, salad, cakes). My wife and I had an Americano, double espresso with Bara Brith Cake (very good taste and moist) which we enjoyed .The staff were pleasant and friendly.

We visit St.Davids regulary but this was first time here. It turned out to be a good eexperience. There is outside seating but this was not the day for it so upstairs we went. We were greeted and enjoyed a latte plus a hot chocolate with cakes. All were enjoyable. Tables were being cleared and cleaned regulary by friendly staff. The wifi is a bonus. Well worth a visit.

Small, not a chain, coffee shop with a gallery beneath. Tightly packed when full but still a unique place to go. Deserves your support.

Eclectic, freindly and nice food. Good coffee, choice of cakes and "healthier" snacks, light meals. Can be busy.

Called in for coffee and cake, the cakes were good but the coffee was exceptional, one of the best cups of coffee I’ve ever had. Very pleasant atmosphere, I’m sure we’ll be back. ☕️

There were five of us and we had coffee here twice - once indoors (upstairs) and once in the courtyard - both excellent - staff could not have been more helpful. Excellent value for money
