Having lived locally for a number of years, this was the first chance I had to try this pub out. I have spoken to locals over the years, about the pub, and most said "don't bother". Oh, how I wished I had listened to them. I went in at a little after noon on a Friday. I was the only customer there and the woman behind the bar appeared shocked that anyone would come in and looked decidedly annoyed at my presence, ( no hello, only a scowl ). I enquired as to what ales were available. She replied that they had one guest ale but the pipes were not clean and I couldn't have it. Any others? I said. only Worthington's Cream flow, not my taste. There are the usual suspects of lager and one cider, not my tipple and I left. Why oh why, do these pubs treat paying customers with such disdain, and when they go bust, wonder where they went wrong. I will tell you, learn a little customer service, grow a personality and actually sell what you are supposed to.

Although living approximately forty miles from Narberth we enjoy the shopping and atmosphere of the town, so visit there as often as possible. We generally stop somewhere for lunch and came across the Ivy Bush Inn yesterday. It's quite a compact establishment and the welcome we received was warm and friendly. The lady who took our order kindly allowed one of us to sample the real ale before deciding to partake, which was unusual and nice. The food was very good, plentiful and wonderful value. The service was most attentive and the lavatories was spotless. We shall certainly be visiting again.

Tiny area for eating, old fashioned pub, brilliant food. Staff top quality in service and friendliness. Bar locals are soo friendly. It’s the place to go for good food at a good price and to make friends with the locals. Thank you for fitting us in. I had gammon /pineapple, peas and real chips, hubby had cheese & potato pie with bacon and tomatoes. Well received but sadly couldn’t finish it there was soo much. It was delicious.

Had Sunday lunch here, couldn’t fault it. Cooked by the landlady and it was spot on, my husband especially liked the cheesy leeks, which we were told were made by her landlord husband. We booked in advance ,arrived early but but was told no problem. Lovely little pub, staff very friendly. We called in again on the Wednesday evening for a quick drink and there was a quiz going on and we were immediately invited to join in by the owners and the locals, all very friendly and we had a fab couple of hours there. Would definitely recommend Sunday dinner there and a nice friendly pub for a drink .

Lovely little pub with cheap beer and probably the best home cooked chips you’ll ever have. Totally recommended, especially as Staropramen was only 3.60 a pint.

After a lovely time spent in Narberth today myself and my partner were looking for somewhere to grab a bite to eat. We was greeted by a lovely gentlemen who advised us food was still being served but the wait would be about 20 minute's. We said this was no problem at all, being on our holidays we was in no rush at all. We was shown to a table and was just about to sit down when a lady who I presume cooks the food behaved in a manner I would only expect from a stroppy child. She literally threw her bag across the room and snarled at the poor lad who had seated us saying to him 'are these for food?' ... the poor guy was so embarrassed. At this point I felt so uncomfortable and decided to leave. I said to the guy that her behaviour was completely unacceptable, I don't think he knew quite what to say, such a shame as he seemed so nice. I know we can all have bad days at work but those kind of actions from a grown woman should never spill over to your customer's, we felt very unwelcome.

A good find in the heart of Narberth, a small pub serving a limited but very good menu, something for everybody sensibly priced. The meals are cooked to order, good portions and very pleasant service.

Popped into this lovely public where we were made to feel welcome by Steve and Sheila. All our food was freshly cooked to order and even had real chips (not frozen). Highly recommend this place for food or just a few drinks. If the bar is full then there is a nice little cwtch at the rear of the bar.

I used to go here on occasion while stationed at Brawdy. It was a great place to go after a session of surfing. I was saddened to hear that it recently suffered a fire.

We went here most days for lunch. The baguettes are very nice, especially the warm chicken and stuffing. The only drawback is that the tables are all outside, so if it's raining it's a bit of a no go.
