Really disappointed was looking forward to coming here this morning we arrived about 9. 20 and was told they couldn't open because they were still waiting for a member of staff to arrive 9 am they were supposed to open so we went for a little walk then went back 20 mins later and they still wouldn't let us in because they were still waiting for a member of staff to arrive was 2 members of staff we was really disappointed as we were looking forward to having breakfast here not very professional at all how long would they have waited for?

Ordered 2 Breakfasts waited 45 minutes for it to arrive , to see a dried up cold food, and poor quality the sausages tasted off it was a bad experience on a plate. The score out of ten is one.

Quite awful actually. Hash browns were cooked in a terrible tasting oil (I’m not an expert but I’m sure the oil needs changing), the sausages were a strange herby kind, not what you’d expect on a breakfast. My main gripe is the staff fussing dogs and then serving food without washing their hands. One waitress playing with her nose stud in between serving food also. The place just felt generally unclean. Has the potential to be lovely if it just tidied up its hygiene and got stricter on food standards. Was really disappointing and I noticed another table of two also looked unimpressed. However dog owners may love it. Especially if you have two great big Alsatians!

We waited 35 mins for a sandwich and lots of people around had the same problem. There was a young girl behind the counter which was the only one with a smile on her face. There was an old woman with a face like a slapped Ars*. Didn’t want to be there and didn’t hide it. There was a lot of trays dropped by the other members of staff there during our lunch. Overall really poor.

Called in Tues 15th on off chance as Partner wanted a light lunch (soup), sat at the table about to order when waitress told us their card machine had gone down and only accepting cash, the cash point in HSBC across the road wasn't working, eventually got cash and ordered. Soup and roll and Ploughmans, both meals took an age to come as there seemed to be a lot of confusion in the kitchen with at least 7 members of staff, neither of who seemed to know what to do. eventually the meals came minus my Ham, when I asked about it I could hear giggling and someone say "OPPS I alway forget something" the food in fairness was great how ever soup lacked flavour, then the Male chef? pulled up a chair on the table next to us and rang who i thought was his landlord to complain about his newly rented flat and that is smelled of sewage and the toilet bowl had stains in it,NOT WHAT YOU WANT TO HEAR WHEN EATING.....Learn....Tenby in fairness was extremely busy with half term but still its no excuse.

We have eaten here last year .but this time we were very disappointed very poor breakfast . Bacon. sausage and tomato were all raw .egg was hard and rubbery .sent it back wasnt much better when it was reserved.we were one of many many tables that morning that sent the food back . It should not of even been sent out like that. Very disappointed would not recommend this place to anybody

We stopped here for a quick breakfast before departing Tenby. The staff were very friendly, we were served by someone who appeared to be new on the till, but she did very well! We had a quick breakfast roll and a drink, both of which were lovely and very reasonably priced given the location!

Don't go here if you want gourmet food and stunning service. The staff try hard in an overworked kind of way. Cake slices are huge. Cream tea had a large dry scone, 2 packets of butter, loads of jam and a little bit of double cream. But all that and a pot of 2 cup+ tea for under a fiver is you get what you pay for.

Disappointed with our lunch here today Sat outside as it was a sunny day and we had our dog with us. Ordered coronation chicken salad and coronation chicken baguette. With drinks approx £20 Both meals served on the flimsiest paper plates, the kind of 5 year old childs tea party would use. Baguette was ok but lacking nachos as advertised on menu and the salad garnish was drowned in balsamic vinegar to the point of mushiness. The salad was a disaster on a paper plate. At £9 it was shameful. Some coronation chicken salad overflowing in a tiny ramekin dish onto similar drowned salad leaves and 2 slices of tomato. Its not often I return a plate of food and coming from the hospitality industry I'm aware of the pressures peak season trade can create but this salad was woeful. I was told there was only one chef on but to be fair it wasn't like we had waited long to be served our food. I'd prefer to wait longer and have a better plate of food. I'd suspect the chef wasn't actually a chef. I requested a refund for the salad and was obliged with my £9 Refund. I was told they were not allowed tk served food outside on anything but disposable plates by order of local council. I noticed cafes over the road serving food and drinks on China and glass though. A trip to tesco for takeaway food gave my wife some sustenance after watching me eat the baguette. Put a downer on our Tenby day trip but hey ho.

Very slow service coffee came in about 10 mins ordered ham egg and chips but did not have pineapple but charged for pineapple and tesco is just up the road to get some had to wait 50 mins for food and was told we only got a small kitchen

Dog Friendly is a real bonus. We sat down ordered friendly staff. As others have said service was slow at over 30 minutes for 2 pasties and chips! Food was OK cd drinks were a bit pricey though. All in all was OK and not as bad as others say.

Came here Saturday morning for breakfast the staff was lovely and friendly and breakfast was lovely .. returned Sunday morning because we enjoyed it to a completely different story! 1 member of staff with blue hair was very rude while taking our orders huffing and puffing not one smile or good morning or even a thank you! If this happened on the Saturday morning I wouldn’t have ruined today

You can sit outside in the sun (when it graces us with its presence), or go into rather a large café. Tastefully decorated with lovely furniture. A very rustic interior with comfortable chairs. The staff were very friendly. We had a medium breakfast and a sausage bap. I thoroughly enjoyed my bap – the bread was fresh and soft and the sausages were cooked well. My husband had a cooked breakfast – we are always disappointed when black pudding is not on the menu, but I guess that is not everybody’s taste and it certainly didn’t distract from what was a really decent breakfast. I had a gorgeous cappuccino which, somebody had gone over the top on with the cocoa powder but it was absolutely delicious. We would definitely go back. There is nothing pretentious or fancy about this café, but it is homely and comfortable and serves food. That is very enjoyable.

We popped in for breakfast at 9.30 and were still waiting for the food an hour later. I wouldn't mind if it was a complicated evening meal but we were talking about 2 teacakes, a bacon roll and some beans on toast. It wasn't particularly busy but the staff are completely inefficient and, in my view rude. Despite asking how much longer we would have to wait after 40 minutes there was no attempt to apologise or speed things up. We were simply told that they were busy. No apology when it arrived either. The teacakes were burnt, the beans runny and bacon overcooked. There are some lovely cafes in the town - Caffe Vista is lovely - so avoid this one at all costs !

Very disappointed...ordered a Llews breakfast and a small breakfast. Neither of us can eat egg so asked for this to be substituted. However, they refused to substitute the eggs and said we would have to pay extra for items we wanted even though they were already removing 2 items from the breakfast (the eggs) the reason for this? The items are priced differently. However a bacon and sausage costs the same and they would not swap a bacon for a sausage. A sign was up at the counter stating they can't substitute items if its busy...however when we got there it was quiet and not busy! But refused the substitutes and said they just dont do them and you have to pay extra if you want to substitute....shocking!! Breakfasts cost over £10 each with the substitues added!! Also bought 2 cans of coke zeros which if I had known the price i would of had a tap water! £4.20 for 2 cans of coke zero!! Total bill came to £27!! This included Two breakfasts, 2 substitute extras, 1 latte and 2 cans of coke zero! Rip off! Obviously just money grabbing and no thought to the customers experience. Won't be visitng here again when we are back in Tenby. I will be doing my research for breakfast places that are highly recommended. If only I had seen the reviews to this place...I wouldnt have bothered going there. Avoid if you want customer values and value for money!

We went here as a big group of 8 so we had to sit on 2 tables. We were taken to two tables at the very bottom of the cafe to which some of us were left standing whilst they cleared the 2nd table. This caused nothing but problems with other customers trying to get in and out of the toilet. So we took the decision to sit at the table whilst being cleared much to the annoyance of the staff member who'd taken us to sit at the 2 tables allocated to us. We were then left at the tables with no menus or not told what we had to do with regards to ordering and it was a good 10 minutes before we worked out that actually we had to order at the till. When our drinks arrived they arrived on a tray that was filthy and the glasses on the tray were disgusting. The food was ok. One of our party hadn't finished her food and was taking a breather and next minute our table was cleared and her food taken away without being asked if she had finished. Definitely would not return

We managed to get a window table on a very busy Monday lunch time - the outside tables were taken.We enjoyed our coffee and cake at a decent price whilst watching the world go by The toilet at the back was acceptable.The cafe served a purpose for us and we had no complaints.

Popped in on the off chance as husband wanted a mocha. Tenby was very busy and this was the only place that had a spare table. Even so the cafe was quite full. I decided to have an espresso to keep my husband company. I have to admit it was pretty grim. Husband said his mocha was "ok". Would not return.

Think too busy to cook properly. Not the best. Fried eggs were raw and bacon tough. Coffee good though

An odd experience, sat close to the screen that the staff work behind and there seemed to be a bit of a mutiny going on with staff moaning and talking about a mass walk out and locking the doors and mad panic too about a missing invoice. The food was ok, but nothing special (pizza and 2 toasties), but the pantomime was quite entertaining.

Trying to get a table for an evening meal in Tenby on a Bank Holiday weekend is like trying to kick yourself in the back of your head with the heel of your foot!!!!We tried several establishments but all where booked up ( until the end of September!!!) or could not accommodate a large family. HOWEVER,we came across the aforementioned premises and behold a miracle!! a table!!!!!We were seated quickly as only a handful of customers were in situ. We chose our meals and I ordered at the front desk and paid before we had the meal ( a very bad mistake!!)Food came and everything was out of the freezer and to be honest very poor indeed. I had a pizza which was worse than you would buy in a low end supermarket. The staff were the best part of this cafe.My advice is if you can’t get a table at the last minute go and buy a disposable BBQ and some quality meat and go and DIY on the beach!!!!!

Breakfast rolls are Tenby prices, but think they are a bit over priced for the quality and better places around. The cake and hot drinks were lovely though.Being a dog friendly venue inside and out was important for us and why we gave them a try.

4 breakfasts Monday morning, 2 they call the lewi which I believe they think is a large breakfast. Burnt sausage, burnt bacon, cheap beans, cold toast. 1 Sausage and chips asked for no bean got loads of them! I don’t particularly like eggs so I asked to swap them for something else. They said they couldn’t as they were too busy they wasn’t just simple ineptitude. So burnt cheap food and can’t swap. My question here is whether or not the person cooking has any idea he or she needs sacking.In addition our drinks came when my son had finished his breakfast! My advise is to avoid this place like the plaque. Overpriced, poor produce, poor staff, poor cooking plus there a huge hole in ceiling above kitchen. Definitely needs a visit from food safety inspector!

Food was okay, bog standard cafe food. Jacket potato was lovely as were the naughty fries, but my partners burger was dry and bland. However they were sold put of literally everything other than the for-mentioned food.Service however was awful. There was an older lady (possibly owner or management?) who was rude, had no idea how to work the till, zero people skills, and generally unpleasant. Another middle aged/older member of staff also seemed to have zero idea what she was doing. The only saving grace was a young lady who’s service skills were impeccable!Decor wise the place is old, cluttered and messy, but clean enough. Hand sanitiser provided at entrance.Normally I would have only provided 2 stars, but given the fact that everywhere in Tenby is completely understaffed right now and there is a significant amount more tourists than normal, I’ve given 3.

Visited this place one evening for a coffee to read my book when the weather was chilly. it was comfortable and friendly but the coffee was a little cold.never the less. came back for breakfast the following morning. bacon bap was excellent and the cup of tea great.would come again.

We asked the waitress to clean the filthy table but were ignored. Not COVID safe! Tables covered in what appears to be yesterdays tomato ketchup as the table number stones were not out. So presumably had only just been set-up. Cleaned our own table in the end - Coffee was nice but experience ruined but working for less than the minimum wage on offer! I’m not an employee I’m a customer. Terrible customer service! The customer should not have to clean the table FFS!

Could not be happier with our visit today. Walked into an immediate warm welcome very polite (best service we have recived all weekend) could not fault them atall. Amazing food left feeling bright and cheerfull will 100% visit on are next visit. Thank you so much to the staff

Ordered a Sausage & Egg bap to share,1 Latte 1 Pot of Tea....bap took approx 15-20 minutes to arrive,no problem fare time to wait mentioned drinks had been ordered to be told they were on the way,which i would have thought they woukd arrive before the bap.....we left it five minutes befoe eating as would have liked to eat & drink at the same time but gave up as it was going cold...a good 10-15 minutes later the drinks arrived,the latte was like something from some cheap coffee machine (vile) compared to many Latte coffees i have had else where.

This place is awful. Table was not clean. Had to wait 30 minutes for a tasteless leathery burger which was slapped on top of slimey lettuce and quarter of a slice of tomato. Chips were dry. Staff couldn’t give a toss.

Went for a meal as we had been several times over the yrs holidaying in Tenby. We were so disappointed, ordered fish and chips expecting fresh fish due to being in a fishing town but was served a value piece of shop bought fish. Ordered a pasty which came back rock hard and you couldn't even cut it with the knife! Will not be returning .

Lady manning the till turned out to be the owner and had mask round her neck which was fine when behind the screen at the till but not when serving in the cafe. Told one of the waitresses who was sympathetic and fully understood but said it was the owner.All the other staff were very friendly and helpful (and followed the rules!)Pizza was very mediocre although freshly done, was mostly tomato puree covered in cheese with very little topping.Wont be returning!

We wanted a quick snack to keep us going and had seen the naughty fries in a review. Service was quick, friendly and food was lovely. Will definitely visit again

Went there twice for breakfast as the food was very good. Friendly atmosphere. Very nice cafe, especially if you can sit outside.

This was one of the first cafe’s we came across while walking through a very busy Tenby. We were asked to provide our details for track and trace and then chose our food from a menu fixed to the table in front of the counter.We ordered two portions of cod and chips, bread and butter and two soft drinks.The meal arrived quickly and we saw it was a frozen portion of fish as you can get in the supermarket. The fish was grey and rubbery and the batter soft. The chips and salad were okay but at £9.90 per portion we should have been able to eat it all.I will never order cod from anywhere again without checking it’s fresh fish first.I have a few suggestions -1. Note your menu that it is a frozen fish portion2. Serve with a lemon wedge not slice. It’s not just there for decoration 3. Serve bread in whole slices.Chip butties don’t work with triangles4. Bread and butter should be butter, not margarine. The staff were friendly though but the food was very disappointing.
