Milton Fish & Chip Shop in Pembrokeshire

Was OK, nothing to shout about. Annoying though that the "homemade" fishcake was tiny and certainly didn't taste "homemade" and when my hubby brought the food home, he opened his up to enjoy and they'd forgotten to give him his fish ! So he had to make another round trip to go get it, not even an apology. Chips were nice, but wouldn't bother again.

We visited Pembrokeshire for the Easter break and naturally fancied fish and chips. Our friend recommended this Fish and Chip shop, and wow, the food was incredible. Served piping hot and so delicious. Husband and I had the Cod, and our son tucked in to nuggets, chips and beans. We didn’t have to rush off, we could eat our food on the benches outside. Everything was great. We got to speak to the owners, who were so welcoming and lovely. We had a lovely experience at your chip shop and will definitely be coming again next time we’re in Pembroke. Will also be highly recommending you to everyone we know who also visits ☺️

Food was a let down and didn’t taste cooked. The owners were even worse! Could not stand the man ‘running’ the place! I’ll be sticking with mr chips or heard there is a new chippy van in the area!

Wonderful fish & chips. I really don't know how anyone else can say otherwise! Everything was piping hot and crisp and the fish was amazing. Will definitely be back.

We had the Sunday lunch. The chicken was ready for immediate consumption but the veg took 20 minutes to cook 🤷‍♀️ We also had beef which was reformed. The veg were in foil trays and had to be reheated. Totally tasteless. Later we thought we would try the fish and chips. (We were staying locally.) The chips were soggy, as if they had been left over and re fried in not hot enough old oil. The fish was grey and chewy. Horrible.

Disappointed, the worst fish and chips I've ever experienced. under cooked food, poor portion size, soggy chips, slightly under cooked pies, no banana blossom in the banana blossom fish, they served curry sauce instead of gravy, no bread or anything for sale, but you can buy a burger in a bun. People don't waste your journey.

Presentation great. cooked to perfection all In all 5 stars I'll definitely be back. My only complaint is I only just found this little gem but I'll be back.

Such a shame...what can I say as this is the third time we have been and the third time we have been left really disappointed. As being a local would love to come but the food just isn't up to standard. The chips are awful either overcooked or undercooked and the batter is a really strange texture.

Had dinner here with family who live in Milton , absolutely incredible food , one off the best I’ve had , highly recommend anybody passing by to visit you will not be disappointed

Totally Gluten Free, an amazing find, no contamination, as they only cook gluten free. gluten free southern fried chicken next door as well.

Fantastic fish and chips with a great vegan menu also, cooked fresh and good portion size, definitely worth a visit if in the area.

Just a quick trip up the road from our holiday accommodation and we'll worth the journey. Excellent fish and chips with lemon slice and tartar sauce too! Very tasty Cod and generous nicely cooked chips. Would make this restaurant a weekly choice of we lived locally. While I was waiting the co-owned cooked chicken shop next door owner came out and offered us tasty samples as a bonus. Nice to see entrepreneurs giving their best!

If you are on holiday in Pembrokeshire this is the place to go for fish and chips. Just off the main road to Pembro dock at Milton you can order your food then sit outside on the three/four table benches outside. We had cod and chips each with complimentary lemon and tartare sauce plus a small battered sausage and curry that came to just over £20. Just a small point, it would be nice if they had buttered rolls on the menu, otherwise we'll worth a visit.

Delicious gluten free fish & chips, not too greasy and generous portions - the small cod was fine for me though the standard looked massive. Includes tartare sauce/lemon and of course optional curry sauce/mushy peas. They also do vegan food which I would’ve ordered if I’d known it was also gluten free. Well worth the 30min return trip from Saundersfoot.

If you are looking for great food and good value, give my favourite fish and chip shop in Pembrokeshire a try - you will not be disappointed.

I went to Milton chip shop after work, and I tell you what, it made my day! Milton over Fecci’s all day long. Food was piping hot and the staff were lovely. I will be back very soon!

Fantistic kerbside chippy in an old mill. Great staff, superb fish and chips. Everything freshly cooked to order and opposite a lovely little pub too. Two cod and chips and a sausage and chips were £20. Bearing in mind supply chain costs that was both competitive and fair. Less than ten minutes from the Carn Springs campsite too. Highly recommended.

Called in here after hearing good things on Pembrokeshire Facebook page. Considering Pembrokeshire prices this is excellent value 3 x small fish and chips = £18. Really nice fish and lovely chips. Will be back!!

Wow an outstanding treasure. Having had battered cod skin and chips in Tenby we were recommended to try the Milton Fish and Chip shop. Cor blimey. What an eye opener. Flaky fresh skinless cod cooked to order - yes there is a short wait but well worth it. Crisp chips that were piping hot served with tartare sauce - home made, and a slice of lemon. So what makes this place different. First it is gluten free so coeliacs can enjoy the same meal as their family. More impressive was the vegetarian and vegan options - not the usual veggie burger in a bun but a full menu - 10 options on the vegan menu! Everything is served by a team who clearly enjoy their work, is served with a smile and a pride which says we have total confidence in our beliefs and our product. I could go on, this is so much more than a chip shop. It dares to challenge the boring and ordinary, it is what others should aspire to. Congratulations on daring to be different. I can't wait for our next visit when we are in Pembrokeshire again
