An excellent experience. My partner and I popped in after exploring the local town, there was a great choice of drinks, and a lovely atmosphere inside. Food looked delicious as it was presented beautifully, and tasted even better. I had the George & Dragon burger, and it was the best burger I have ever had. Not only was the food amazing but so we're the staff, very friendly and welcoming, at the end of the meal I forgot my phone, and they were kind enough to chase me down to ensure it was returned. I would definitely recommend.

Last minute dinner on Sat evening on the way back from a hike. I had lasagne which was really good and meaty which is great as often restaurants fill it with more veg than meat. Partner had pie and was also happy especially as it was proper shortcrust pastry. Service a little slow given not many tables. They were cleaning bar and other areas, which no doubt needs doing, but should prioritise cleaning plates etc. Overall we'd return of in area again.

Never again. Meal booked form7.30pm, first meal came out at 8.40pm Childs meal arrived after asking about it at 9.15pm Daughter ordered gluten free, it was last meal to come out of the kitchen at 9.20pm Totally inedible apart from the skinny fries. Desert still hadn't appeared at 9.42pm Unfortunately the mash with the lamb shank was instant mash and lukewarm at best, with a gelatinous substance which I took to be mint gravy.

Very welcoming staff good choice of drinks, dog friendly. Grandson's had pizzas they loved them, husband and I had burger's, very nice chips, food was very hot on arrival, took a bit of time to remove plate's etc. Would definitely go back when in the area. Parking across the road near the wonderful beach.

Visited Afon Conwy with grand children, ordered kids meals only to be told they had run out day before, ordered 2nd choice. Food came, I had ordered smothered chicken, the piece of chicken looked half the thickness of a normal chicken breast, it was that flat and just chips on plate, no coleslaw or salad, awful value for money, had to ask for the coleslaw which stated on menu. Staff in red shirts were quite friendly but another female member of staff had a bit of attitude like she couldn’t be bothered, certainly not employee of the year in my eyes. It is quite a while since I previously visited but don’t think I will ever bother to go again.

What a great spot! We had a great visit to this secluded pub on the beach. There are two places you can park, at the Golf Club car park with a cost of around five pounds through an app, from here you walk over the golf course on the path/road to the pub. Or, you can park further down on the National Trust car park and walk along the beach to the pub. We parked at the golf club, walked over the golf course and then walked back along the beach and back up to the golf car park. The beach walk is great. There was a DJ on when we went and that gave it a good atmosphere outside we did not sit inside as the weather was OK. Food was available although we did not order anything. Friendly staff who served at the outside bar. Be careful of the closing times as that can be early if there is not an event on.

We were tempted by the coffee and cake offer and from the illustration of a generous piece of cake we were looking forward to it. The coffee was fine, albeit in a take away cup but the cake was very disappointing, a small piece, again in a takeaway box, not worth the price. Beware!
