Nice place, they do a quiz on Tuesday quite cool. DJ seems cool, Shoutout to the staff, alot of love for you guys ❤️

Great venue, pathetic choice of wine. Great selection of beers and spirits though; shame we wanted wine! Not even the basics… it was 1 White, 1 Rose or Expensive French Fizz.

I took my dog out with me yesterday, went into this lovely pub, staff were friendly and gave a bowl of water for my puppy

A pristine pub that has been renovated well. The owner is an extremely friendly lady and Panda (the dog) is a pleasant touch 🥺🥰. Prices are acceptable and drinks are adequate. Though I can't rate the food as on my last visit I didn't have a chance to get any.

Actively discouraging feminism, I was told I wasn't allowed entrance, in a sleeveless top then I pointed out there was a women with a sleeveless top in the bar and they said it was different for woman.

Brilliant outdoors experience for all ages. Plenty of space to explore, sculptures to admire and interesting information about species facing extinction.

This place is a good place for a catch up and weekend nights out, very wide range of beers, sprites, gins by the dozen, owners are very nice, and staff to , shout out to joss and jess, Just hope that they bring the food back like the old days

I had booked ironworks to watch the Euro finale match. I had a pint of Budweiser and all was fine. They had a deal on of two bottle of budweisers for £6. When the drinks came there were a funny taste on the bottles so I poured one of the bottles in to a glass. When I took a drink from the glass it still had like a chemically, drain water taste. I informed a member of staff and he replied with I can’t smell anything but shall I take away the glass? I replied yeah that’s fine as I would not be drinking it anymore. I found a supervisior to ask if they could replace the two Budweisers with maybe a pint. Her response was “ you said that it was ok to take away “ me and a friend explained the story and her reply was I to believe her staff member in the most condescending way, the attitude was disgusting. So we decided to find somewhere else to go. I believe her name was Leah Kirby. Customer service skills would not go a miss.

I went with a friend who is deaf to ironworks. I have a medically exempt card stating I can't wear a mask. The manager told me they do not accept the medically exempt cards from your GP. I told him this is discrimination and against the equality Act 2010. He said he didn't care, so me and my friend left his pub and went somewhere else.

We went for a day out to look at the sculptures and finished with a pre-booked afternoon tea. We spent one and a half hours wandering around the park thoroughly enjoying looking at the sclulptures and marvelling at the craftsmanship. The inside areas were full of many other interesting exhibits. There were also opportunities to buy some ironworks. Wonderful day. My only suggestion would be if we could have seen someone actually making something out of iron and scrap metal. The afternoon tea was delicious with well filled sandwiches and nice cakes. They also provide doggy bags as there was a great deal of food. The teapots and teacups were lovely. The staff were good at making the event special. The only thing to improve would be to have a larger table as we were rather squashed. It compares well with other similar teas at £15 per person.

I used to love the Ironworks, the food was amazing and the drinks are served well but most importantly the venue is amazing it had two floors which you could get lost in your own room and drink away the day. However now the food price has increased with minimal quality, the drinks are still the same yet only HALF the pub is open. Upstairs has been closed for a long time now and it's a shame because that was most of the appeal. GET IT BACK TO HOW IT WAS.

Bouncers said we needed to leave after buying 30 shots 5 mins prior in Ironworks. Promised free entry into New York New York/Penny Black, thrown out a few minutes after despite getting passed the bouncers) for taking these drinks in.

This is an interesting pub. We only ordered drinks as they had stopped doing food. The drinks were ok, but the toilets were beyond disgusting. The plywood floor of the gents was delaminated and bouncy, and from the smell the cause was obvious.

Cheaper drinks through out the day...... Until a member of staff charged my friend for 4 drinks instead of the 2 we had then denied it. Would recommend but due to lack of staff knowledge, not recently.

What a fabulous place for any age group. Also free entry Restaurant didn’t sound exactly cheap. BUT the amount of food served certainly wasn’t small. I had a ploughman’s, with salad, three good size wedges of different cheeses, coleslaw, chutney, a roll & butter £7. Very filling.

Had a fantastic day on the silversmith course and came home with two fantastic pieces of jewellery. Would recommend this course to every-one!!

If you are disabled or have disabled family DO NOT come here YOU WILL be discriminated against. Was removed from the club for 'stimming'. I have autism which means I flap my hand when I suffer sensory overload. The bouncer violently pulled me out of the club when he seen me flapping my hands. I then asked why I had been removed and then he could not give me a reason. When I kept asking the bouncer violently threw me on to the floor and as I fell I broke my thumb. This caused me to get sacked from my job and I lost over £2000 in wages. Staff are obviously terribly trained and not fit for the job. I will be making a formal complaint for discrimination and assault to the council. In the meantime if your reading this DO NOT go here. Behavior of staff is absolutely disgusting and I will do my best to get this vile place shut down.

A great place to eat as there burgers are out of this world, a fantastic atmosphere as they play some great music, the staff are friendly and they have a great gin bar there, all in all 10/10

Polecam zarowno jako miejsce gdzie mozna cos zjesc jak i wieczorem jako pub z muzyka. Czesto odwiedzam ten lokal ze znajomymi. Mila obsluga i duza przestrzen jest duzym atutem tego miejsca. Dodatkowo mozna sobie potanczyc, co rowniez jest na plus.

Over crowded punk in the evenings and I mean dangerously over crowded with quite a bit of trouble sticky floors but what do you expect in Wrexham

We visited the ironworks not really knowing what to expect and were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. There are loads of giant iron sculptures on the drive in and then scattered around. The knife sculpture was particularly impressive. Our toddler had a nice run around but probably slightly older children would get more out of it. A great free activity for an hour or two.

Popped in for a bit of lunch! Loved their menu of burgers great choices! Very polite staff! Will definitely be back!

Estado Ironworks en una 5 cerca de Oswestry, que en una caja de donaciones, pero parte, estuvimos más que contentos a pagar. Un par de horas paseando durante todo el año. Hay mucho para ver y hacer, especialmente para los niños. No comimos en el café, pero por lo que vi la comida parecía de primera categoría. Si estás en la zona bien merece una visita para toda la familia.

Myself and a few friends booked a booth for the Wales v England game, there were 12 of us and we got a free platter of food at half time, tasty and plentiful! Went down a treat as did the table service we got from one of the bar staff who looked after us fabulously. (Thank you!) Will definitely be booking again.

One of my favourite places for a night out in Wrexham. Can get a bit hot though.

Absolutely appalling service. Over 20 friends & I booked a booth in advance, to make sure of a good view of the game & a comfortable setting for ladies to enjoy. Bad move. We arrived at 3pm, ordered food at 3:30pm.... only some of the food came & what did come was far from 'gourmet', as their website states. After 3 attempts at it receiving the missing meal the manager was approached, after 3 other members of staff had said "the meal is on its way". Due to the poor standard of service this ended in my friend not receiving her meal & the 'Manager' being a rude & arrogant idiot towards us as a group. Basically not wanting our custom... his words were.. "our attitude stinks, he doesn't care & to go and drink somewhere else"... this is after we'd already spent a substantial amount behind the bar. But the main point being a meal was paid for but not received!! Avoid at all costs! The beer is over priced & the staff can't even count. A real let down on what should of been a pleasurable afternoon/evening...

I came here with friends on a night out. I know town can get very busy, but we went into Ironworks and it was absolutely rammed! There were too many people in there, we couldn't even move. We were squashed between a lot of people. When we did eventually decide to leave, it was difficult to find the way out because of all the people we had to push our way past. Don't think we'll go back again.

Only booked a few days before and when I arrived I was only expecting a table but ended up getting a private booth with our own tv for no extra charge, not only was the atmosphere amazing but the staff were all lovely and I was served quickly regardless of how busy they were. 2 bottles of corona for £5 and delicious food!! (I had the mixed grill which was amazing value for money considering how high my plate was stacked, struggled to finish it haha) I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants a good deal and value for money!!! 10/10

Mi marido y yo llamado aquí ayer para ver la 6 juegos de las naciones Unidas. Llegamos temprano para conseguir escaños para el juego pero cada mesa era reservada, en todos los pisos. Visitamos aquí cada vez que vayamos a Wrexham y me pareció que el lugar era muy limpia, sin embargo, este lugar ha ido tan mal. El mobiliario estaba sucio y las alfombras estaban sucias. Nuestros pies pegada al suelo EVERY asiento de inodoro habían quitado debido al uso de drogas sin duda, y toda la apestaba a humo de lugar de fag. Los miembros de STAFF podrían asistir a un curso de servicio al cliente. Ésta será la última vez que beber o comer aquí tristemente

How did I not know about this place! Great cocktails and friendly staff

We visited midweek for a late lunch on a voucher deal.Very strange layout. Large bar area with lots of smaller rooms all over the place.Few customers besides us so little atmosphere.The staff were efficient and friendly and the food was excellent.

Called today (Sunday 3.45pm) after a hectic Xmas shop;when we arrived we were told we would be just in time to order as food finished at 4pm?? Rather odd we thought for a pub in the town centre that's usually open all hours? Place was dead only us in there! Ordered platter and bottle of wine with some soft drinks for the designated driver... Had to wait some 15 mins for the wine as they had no keys for the cellar to get the wine!! Waited another 15 mins before food arrived (4.25) it was delicious so no complaints there however shortly after we finished our food the TVs and all the Xmas lights got turned off; I still had near enough a full bottle of wine to drink??? Husband went to ask why TVs were off and got told they were closing at 5pm but we didn't have to rush?? Needless to say we went without finishing our drinks with our food barely beginning to digest; in my opinion this should of been stated before we even ordered! We were hoping for a nice relaxed meal after Xmas shopping but just ended up being rushed I was not happy to say the least

We visited the ironworks at 6pm on a Friday night,the pub was completely empty not one customer and we sat in a corner which had tomato sauce pasted over the wall.We were eating here on a groupon voucher which entitled us to two drinks and two main meals for £14.95.We ordered nachos as a starter which we paid for as a extra and then the steak burgers,the food arrived very quickly and I have got to say it was excellent and the service matched it too.It is a shame the ironworks décor can not match the excellent food and staff if it did you could have a little gem here.

Perfect for a reasonable meal seved quickly. Standard is OK and Price is reasonable. Very close to centre of town and shops, perfect place for a husband creche while you shop. This is the pub to go to if you want to watch any sport. There are screens everywhere. You are bound to find the match that you want. Volume is quite loud, so don't expect to go for a quiet drink. Staff are excellent, very friendly and welcoming.

My first visit to the ironworks today left me with a great impression, I thoroughly enjoyed my experience here from start to finish. The presentation was spot on too! Although the trays weren't as practical as I'm sure they hoped. I ordered the salmon skewers with jacket potato and some sweet potato fries to share with my sister. The food was well balanced and tasted great. I would recommend coming here for any occasion/ event. The variety of food on the menu is good too.

staff are ok, food is decent. if you're looking for a good atmosphere this is good place to go. they shouldn't charge £1 to get in on a thursday though in the evening

I am currently on holiday and we decided to go on a night out around Wrexham. I had never been to Ironworks before as I always thought it is more of a place for the younger people, but I was so wrong. The atmosphere when I walked in was amazing, and the girl who served me was so nice and friendly and very quick considering how much I had ordered. The music was good all night, and they had something for everyones enjoyment! Will definitely be going again!

This is the second time I have been here. The food was so good the first time around that I had to bring my good friend for lunch. We were both really impressed with the variety on offer. The food was amazing, very reasonably priced and the staff were friendly and very efficient. Highly recommended, cant wait to come back to sample some more dishes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Went here recently for lunch with family .The staff were very friendly and efficient ,brought drinks to the table for us while we were trying to choose from the great new menu.Hard to decide what to have as it all sounded delicious but we all had burgers with different toppings (which is a brilliant idea as the toppings are all separate so you can have exactly what you want)and they came with choice of fries ,coleslaw and salad.its about time Wrexham had a decent place for good burgers and ribs .All the food is cooked fresh and is absolutely delicious.Well done Ironworks !!!

The Ironworks has come under new ownership recently and they have launched a new menu.The menu us a grill style menu, with gourmet burgers taking centre stage. Service was great and the food was simply devine. The made from scratch approach is definitely the way forward. My wife's burger was lovely, topped with belly pork and chilli jam, I had the garlic and herb half roast chicken that was beautiful. Highly recommended and good value for money. Wrexham just got a great new place to eat quality food!

Party in the Pub is the motto.............couldn't be further from the truth !!Went here with friends after persuading them not to go to normal pub but try this place. Dirty glasses when your eventually served, Sticky floors, Miserable staff with attitude and disgusting toilets.

Well, the Christmas tree is lovely at least. That's the good parts out of the way. A guy trying to sell his 'quality' toiletries as your washing your hands in the loos is quite retro, I suppose, but not in such an unpleasant setting, although the torn binbag partially taped over one of the urinals was an interesting focal point, at least it drew your eyes away from the dirt, grime and filth that was the gents toilets. Drinks were ok, but the dirty glasses weren't. My pint glass had something hard and black stuck inside the glass about 3/4 of the way down........ Yuck!Time to leave

Do not think of going to this place to eat with your family. Its full of football louts who swear as if nothing else matters. terrible atmosphere and upstairs stinks of the toilets. The place needs total renovation and updating. Although the manager is very pleasant the staff who work for her need to find a job outside of the service industry. better places to eat but not in Wrexham
