Popped in for a little drink before heading home after work. Busy pub with football and the quiz, staff can’t seem to do enough for all the customers. Great atmosphere and friendly service…. The quiz is pretty loud (only negative thing)

As a regular customer I am puzzled and disappointed why you no longer sell Erdinger alcohol free when all other branches do. It was a welcome alternative for customers who don't drink

Lovely food which came hot and exactly as I ordered. Delicious food. Multiple staff happily interacted with me during my visit and they checked how my meal was. Busy but all the staff were working hard to make sure you were served quickly.

Popped in for a late lunch with my mum, she enjoyed her quorn chicken bowl which arrived quickly! Staff came over to check all was ok and it was as always!

Popped in for breakfast, came out quick enough but was cold. Told the staff who told me I'd have to wait for replacement as they were busy. Now the pub is at 10% occupancy of a normal Sunday morning so no idea what is keeping them soooo busy.

Very poor atmosphere and service getting ID'd at 32 years old with grey hair by a server who is visibly younger than me and then refusing to refund it. Obviously can't hack a busy shift and struggling so we went somewhere else.

Went in hear for breakfast did not let me down it was lovely. Had dinner hear it was delicious loved it.

Popped in with the kids for some lunch. We all had burger and chips. My daughter had the veggie burger and my son and I had the American burger. We ordered through the app and sat people watching for a little while until the food arrived. I've been to a few different wetherspoons lately and they've yet to let me down. Food usually comes within the estimated time on the app and is always satisfying. I was a head chef for quite a few years in higher end pubs and restaurants and I frequently eat out and you know what? I love wetherspoons. There's always a lively, busy atmosphere, the food and drink come quickly and there's always someone to chat to. .Cheap, cheerful and excellent value for money.

Great service prices seem to have increased though, same as everwhere. Never get the half a chicken order right, they nearly always give you garlic sauce and coleslaw even if you ask for gravy and peas.

Bar staff very efficient and responsive to waiting customers, food service staff quick with the food ordered. Overall 5 star would definitely recommend.

I had the mixed grill and Pepsi cherry and Dessert millionaire

Had the fish, chips and mushy peas. The fish was the nicest i have had in a long long time. The mushy peas were just as i liked them not stodgy like they are in a lot of places. Full marks for a beautiful meal.

Today I had a wonderful experience in Wrexham spoons . The breakfast was lovely but most of all the friendly staff were lovely . The gentleman who served us called Adam was so friendly and helpful . I needed a All day brunch so Visited on a Monday afternoon even better as the Stella was only 2.85 as part of the Monday club,the food came within twenty minutes and was ever so tasty will be back in the near future.

We had a curry, it was tasty but the curry portion was on the cool side when delivered. Not too cool to complain .

Not impressed, I came off the bus from work last night as I needed to use the bathroom as I’m currently pregnant and it was an hour journey and I thought it being a public place that it would be ok and the bouncer asked for my ID and I didn’t have it on me, repeatedly said that I’m really pregnant and I will be really quick and he refused my entry I’m not saying that I should be entitled but it was half 11 at night and no other public place was open for me to use the bathroom, I didn’t want a drink or anything I just needed the toilet

Nipped into The Elihu Yale for a spot of lunch after a long day touring the region. Yet another Wetherspoons plying it's trade and serving up burgers, beers and cheap curries by the thousand. So, just to fit that particular script, I had a burger and my wife had a curry. They were cooked, they were hot, they were decidedly average. Nothing special, but they did the job for very little money. The pub was typical Wetherspoons fare, comfortable-ish, clean-ish, precisely what you expect.

Just want to say how first class the door people were today. Really nice to see door people with emotional intelligence. Let some Reading fans in, refused and dealt with some Wrexham idiots. Really well done. Lovely afternoon continued. Pub good, cheap prices, enjoyable afternoon. Lovely atmosphere, lovely staff, well done all, and obviously nice to see Wrexham win

It's a wetherspoons. Enjoy a decent breakfast for a good price with the local alcoholics. Can't beat it.

It's cheap but bad language is terrible

4 of us had a lovely meal at lunch time. It was very busy but food and drinks came out quickly. Sausage and mash and peas and gravy was lovely. Also the brunch was nice. Toilets on the ground floor which was great because weatherspoons usually have them upstairs. Also a lovely building.

Popped in here for a pub lunch on a visit to Wrexham on market day. It's a standard Wetherspoons in a lovely old building that used to be a cinema. The interior is very large, lots of tables crammed together, but there are eating areas that are a bit more separate and cosy, and a choice of seating. The decor is traditional, with wood panelling and some interesting old photos on the walls. Accessible and clean downstairs toilets. It was very busy and noisy when I arrived, but I managed to find a nice table at the back of the pub. The bar was well stocked with a wide variety of cask ales, wine and spirits. Bar staff were very friendly. The extensive menu offered all the usual Wetherspoons fare including pizzas, curries, burgers, grills and traditional pub favourites, with smaller versions of many of the dishes and also children's meals. It was useful to see the number of calories displayed against each meal choice. Opted for the 5oz gammon with fried egg, mushroom, tomato, jacket potato and peas, and a Mediterranean side salad. Service was quick and efficient despite the staff being very busy and rushed, and a friendly waitress came back to ask if everything was okay. The food on the whole was average quality and could have been hotter, but the portions were good, the salad was fresh and really tasty, and the lunch and wine were not expensive.

Very busy pub normally but especially busy on a Wednesday afternoon when the Euros are in full swing. A projector style large screen dominates the bar area, but still many quieter areas to chat with friends. Overall a good Witherspoon pub.

I love a Spoons, and this is another great one. I had the lemon and herb chicken, as I do 80% of the time, and it was beautiful. My dining companion's Margarita pizza was also apparently super. The service was warm and attentive. The Elihu Yale is another charming old building into which Wetherspoons has breathed new life, and we really appreciated its heritage vibe.

Very impressed with the food and service which was very quick. Will be coming back. Floor could have done with a bit of a clean but have seen worse.

Came for a quick tea. Had steak pudding and mash. The pudding cooked in oven so it was dry not steamed. The mash was smash. Ok for the price.

The staff were pleasant and served the food quickly. The one downside to this particular venue is the seating. Way too many tables meant that all too often chairs of nearby tables virtually touched each other, making walking in and around a challenge, let alone the too close for comfort of the other diners. Clearly this seams to have little effect on patronage as it was very busy on both days we visited. However, in my book, not up to standard due to the poor seating arrangements nor any notice/apology for the closure.

Good Friday. A tasty table topping clash with the Dragons of Wrexham beckons as The Stags cross the border into Wales. The homework says don't go here; its gonna be filled with hostile locals. But there's a problem. You see, when we go away, we tend to avoid the police recommended outlets as they are probably going to selling overpriced weak beers in plastic pots and you'll be 10 deep at the bar. No thanks, we'll stick to the Spoons if you don't mind. Only problem is the options are either in Chester or even further away in Liverpool. So the plan is to go to this one in civvies, keep schtum, order off the app and maybe even wear a bit of red. And It worked. Matchday. We parked round the corner, number plate a bit of a giveaway, security on the door who see no issue with 2 couples of certain senior years. I mean, why would they? We consider ourselves to be ambassadors for our club and believe nothing is to be gained by making a fool of oneself. Once inside, its busy, Very busy. We are fortunate to arrive just as table of 4 are about to leave, the alternative being standing up as the majority of the chairs have been taken aside to give more room. Good thinking. There's plenty of staff on duty which is good, ordering on the app worked first time but not on the second so had to order from the bar. With the atmosphere in there quite noisy I'm nonetheless served quite quickly and efficiently, proper glasses, well kept beers only a few pence more than in my own local spoons and nobody picked up the accent - which was handy! Both clubs have had arduous and testing journeys and we'll have a laugh with anybody bearing good intentions Didn't have food as we were just there for the beers so couldn't comment on what it that experience would be like on a different or non matchday. Hopefully both our teams will be promoted and should we chance a return here, then with a bit of preparation once again, we would have no hesitation returning. Hopefully with a more favourable score line next time around! Just a quick thanks again for the team for their hard work and for looking after us. Also the local constabulary who were very helpful unlike those in Scunthorpe last year. Said we'd give you a good review which is the least we could do...

Another well presented witherspoon pub Which at the time we visited was surprisingly very busy. We ordered two small breakfasts with hot drinks. Breakfast was OK and arrived in record time, but both were just warm at best. This appears to be a very common issue with witherspoon. Perhaps slow down a bit, and you will see hot food goes down a lot better than just warm. Personally, I don't think anyone expects their food in two minutes

Went for a "cheap and cheerful" lunch and was not disappointed apart from the toilets ..... do not except to see a sanitary bin with no lid on!

What can you say about a witherspoon pub good value for drinks, mediocre food, but clean and welcoming.

Does what it says on the tin, Wetherspoons are pretty standard. Although I prefer my local one.

I like the whetherspoons in wrexham especially for breakfast. Great vegan and veggie breakfast, lovely poached eggs, pleasant staff and the ability to order via the app is great. Almost forget its in wrexham 😃

Great value and excellent service

Was in Wetherspoons last week, and got served by a ginger lady I think her name was carys, amazing service, very quick. Served a very good pint was so polite to me and everyone around her. Made sure she acknowledged all of us and everyone else at the bar was an £80 order and got all our drinks to us very quick on our works do. Would defo go back 👍🏻

Ordered a char grilled half chicken with a Naga sauce coating, was served upside down with the ribs on show. Not appetising at all, looked like it had been dropped on floor and booted around the kitchen before the 2 pieces being reconnected and served. Chips over cooked. Not the best I've had. Becoming a regular thing here with the "chef" not seeming to know which is the right side of a half chicken to char grill or coat.

It's a Wetherspoon, so you know what to expect: fine food and drinks for a great price.

Breakfast not as good as leominster staff lovely as always

Very disappointed tonight, ordered large fish and it was so thin id be surprised if if it was a small. Basically paid over £10 for a slither of fish and the rest batter with chips. Left hungry, certainly won't be ordering it again.

Staff are good,sometimes under difficult times.

Pretty busy, but got a table and food, good value.
