Big appreciation for putting on a fundraiser for the Bangor food bank, great music, and great service for a great cause, staff have been absolutely amazing, would definitely recommend.

My daughter and myself went here for lunch we had a very good meal and spent about three hours here staff were helpful But we now received a £100 parking fine!! We were not aware we had To give car details etc Staff should have been able to remind customers of this We've been going there many times but this very upsetting

The meals were cold. We ordered a kids beefburger. We just got the bun no burger. Then a burnt burger arrived after i asked whwfe ny daufhters burger was. Hunters chicken was greesy all i could taste was bbq sauce chicken was tasteless. Ordered drinks at the bar. Was told we had to wait 15 minutes for diet coke / lemonade. We asked for bottled diet coke. They charged us more for that. While it took three bar staff to decide which one was going to make our drinks order. One member of the staff refused point blank to go to the cellar to get 2 litre bottles of diet coke. Lemonade infront of myself and my partner. While we waited half an hour for our drinks order. While we were eating a bar staff came over to clear the table. We Will never be going back here again.

Cons: Half of menu unavailable. None-existent customer service. No cutlery given until all meals placed on table and not until you have to ask for the cutlery, TWICE. No table check to see if happy with food once served. Meals arrived with multiple missing ingredients (hot sauce, jalapeños and onion rings all missing from burger. Jalapeños missing from nachos.) Sticky tables. No straws with cocktails given. No soap in toilets (for multiple days based on the previous review…) Grumpy staff. Pros: Cheap cocktails and free welcome drink if sign up online.

The place is desperately in need of a revamp. Carpets were filthy, no hand wash in the toilets, and waited 20 minutes to get a drink. I'm glad we didn't eat there. Would not return.

This Inn on a roundabout is well worth a visit. At first, going through the grubby main door, I was a bit apprehensive, but the menu looked good and they have a good 2 for £12.50 on mains during the week. The food was absolutely delicious, and just the right amount. They wven took the time to put all our sauces in little pots rather than on the food. Latte came in a slightly too big coffee cup which made it look a bit stingy. The doors to the toilets were also grubby but I noticed it was matt paint which doesn't clean. So, apart from a lick and a promise with a paintbrush and some washable paint, this place is a real gem.

Stopped off for a meal here a bit sceptical after recent reviews. I must say don't believe everything you hear. Happy staff very welcoming and showing you to a table to a menu bursting with choices. The meal I had was one of the best I have had in a long time. The burger was juicy and delicious. The kebab topped chips were to die for! My wife had the beef rib and it came perfectly cooked and was falling off the bone. Overall this was a fantastic meal and fantastically priced. Will be here again definitely and if you're in the area, try it. You won't be disappointed.

We ordered a couple of chicken burgers, came with bacon, cheese, onion rings etc, sounded nice. It arrived, initially looked ok, however chicken burst with fluid, the whole plate became a mess. The food was inedible

Sat outside with dogs ordered 2 sizzlers and burger, burger arrived well presented but when the sizzlers arrived .. no not sizzlers but food on a normal plate. When challenged the waitress said they don’t serve sizzlers outside … this was NOT told to us when we ordered if it we were told we would have ordered something else … we were disappointed but eat the food anyway… but as it was not a sizzler the food was very mediocre nothing special

I hadn't been here for years and I must say, we really enjoyed it. The place looks and feels cosy. We had the fish and chips for £8.25 and you could double up the fish for £2.50. My partner said " the fish must be small if ypu can double up", well he was so wrong, they were very big but most of all very tasty, best fish I've had in a long time. Proper triple cooked chips would have made the meal amazing, instread of frozen chips. We will definitely come back here.

Nice and pleasant ordered the mixed grill it was really nice my thanks to Mr sion for the food and Sam for serving me at the bar nice Tim all round will definitely come agein.

Great staff and ambience. Shout out to DJ staff ,exc cust service polite helpful and friendly asl very patient with our group . He a credit to you. Nice food good prices/ deals. Small car park which you have to register your car in the restaurant to get it free ,otherwise you have to pay. Lovely views Dog friendly Would recomend and will go again.

Haven’t been here for about 6 years due to a bad experience so I was sceptical coming over. But i was wrong to feel like that. Great welcome, fab choice on the menu and totally surprised by their prices. Ordered steak which came sizzling, really nicely cooked. I will definitely be back soon!

Went on a spur of the moment, though it was busy they managed to get us a table. Ordered some nibbles to share and a mixed grill. Asked that it all came at the same time, which it didn't. I finished my food when my partners food came. He asked for no onions, salad, mushrooms and it came with all this. Even got charged for the mushy peas. Too understaffed.

Has been recommended. If you can live with the cutlery being thrown on your table napkins akin to a roadside cafe then you’re at home. Putting that aside my almonds on vegetable was nice , the veg were onions tomatoes and peppers chin on fries good. Good value pub grub

I’m writing this review as we were hoping to book a table for 10 people on Mothers Day (10th March). I sent an online enquiry on Saturday March 2nd and waited to hear back . As they hadn’t got back to me, my husband called them on following Tuesday only to get an answer machine. He left a message and also filled in an online enquiry. Still no response. I called again on the Wednesday to be greeted with the same answer phone messages Another enquiry left. After my sister tried once more today and faced the same answer, we’ve decided that the Antelope is obviously so profitable that they can afford to ignore bookings! Absolutely useless at responding to enquiries or even the phone !

Three of us ordered 3 classic mixed grills,the food was very tasty and well presented,half way through our meals we noticed that the button mushrooms were missing,I couldn't find a member of staff to tell them ,we finished our meals the server came to clear our table I told her about the mushrooms,she said we haven't got any,why were we not told when i placed the order,last month i ordered three mixed grills,the onion rings were missing from the meals,surely they could give you an extra item to compensate,it was my husbands birthday,

My mother had decided to treat myself and my sisters to lunch and as we had always had a possitive experience at the antelope we decided to lunch here. The food was once again exceptional as usual the only problem is i have now been fined £100 for parking at their carpark!!! I was running late to meet my family therefore parked up and went straight in. At no point 2as i made aware that they now have a machine you have to input your number plate in to use carpark. I called antelope and they told me to call euro carparks but as i was not paying,my mother was and she paid with cash. I have no proof of being there and am now left with a £100 fine for eating at this establishment. Beware if you visit and remember to input your number plate

They had very good service seeing as they were practically full and were very friendly to their customers and the food was based on the cost

Beautiful setting. Food was really good -hunters chicken and chicken and pork belly sizzlers. All tasty and cooked well. Staff members extremely friendly and checked on our food. Cleared tables after courses and sundaes for pudding were lovely! Used blue light discount too!

Three of us called in last Monday evening we sat on table 14,we ordered drinks and 3 standard mixed grills ,the meals were fine the chicken was overcooked but eatable ,the mixed grills were not as good as the ones we had the week before ,2 of the meals were missing onion rings,but when I told the staff member about it ,they apologised and brought some out ,there needs to be more staff as there was only 2 staff working

We travel from Caernarfon several times a week to eat at the antelope. Staff are friendly and always hard at work. Food is fab good quality and big portions at a reasonable price. What a gem.

The best surf and turf I've had in years. Tasted fabulous and the steak was so tender it melted in the mouth! Dog friendly too so the pooch was happy to be with us. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, lovely location.
