Lovely comfortable hotel with very friendly staff who were super accommodating and helpful with everything you need. Rooms were clean and comfortable and a lovely view at the front of the sea. Food in the restaurant was delicious and home cooked. Would highly recommend for an overnight stay.

Definitely a place worth visiting, South ayrshire has definitely been lacking a pub with decent food and the recent upgrade here is a welcome addition to the food scene in South ayrshire, coupled with extremely good service is definitely worth the drive, id recommend the wild mushroom tart with fungi from the local forests when in season off course, there is great wine pairings available with each dish. Comfortable restaurant and cozy bar next door, well done guys keep up the good work, id recommend booking because this place will be busy!

The Coylton Arms is turning into a real favourite of ours. We’ve eaten here quite a few times this year, which included twice in December. It offers an extensive menu to choose from, plus the staff that serve you are always really pleasant and not afraid to offer their opinion on the food you fancy. Prices are very reasonable considering the quality of the food and the restaurant is really nice inside. There is also an adjoining bar if you fancy a wee pre-meal drink. A family run business, well worth a visit 👍

What a beautiful day and what a view. Welcome on arrival was superb. However after having been seated, we had to ask for a menu, no one came to take our order so we ordered ourselves at the bar. Firstly the wrong wine was delivered but this was exchanged. No one asked to either taste the wine or to pour, we did this ourselves. One drink was forgotten another trip to the bar. First time this has ever happened so quite disappointing on this occasion.

Christmas dinner on Christmas Day was very disappointing and naturally expensive. The food was Wetherspoons quality tasted like it was bought in from catering company rather than freshly made. Young undertrained staff did their best.but had to be asked several times for service. Pity if that’s the quality served at weddings. I have had a bar lunch there which has been fine. As I live locally it’s sad to see how standards have slipped since the Costley days.

The sandwich was simple but nice enough. Tasty cheese and ham. The macaroni was awful. Cold sludge made from cheap ingredients. Possibly the worst I've had. The place itself is fine but they really need to review their catering. It could be so much better

Excellent food even at the end of a very busy service. Went in for Sunday lunch and was more than pleasantly surprised. They had a roast lunch with sirloin (two hearty slices cooked well) roast and mashed potatoes, roast carrots, leeks and onion with a good sized Yorkshire pudding. It was preceded by thick Cullen Skink that was excellent with a good amount of smoked haddock. My guest had the Philly Cheesesteak Roll with a nice salad, ample french fries and an additional bowl of cheese sauce. Although we didn’t indulge the cakes, tray bakes and sweets looked lovely. A couple of suggestions rather than criticisms, there wasn’t enough of the excellent gravy, perhaps a small jug would allow guests to pour it where they wished (over the Yorkie), and please keep the butter for the roll in the fridge and don’t put it under the heat lamps or right next to the hot soup bowl. Butter that can be poured over the roll isn’t very nice. Notwithstanding this very minor points an excellent experience with very efficient and helpful staff. We will be coming again!

What a wonderful shop and cafe the hub of the local community. The manger Alex and Young worker Becca are fabulous such excellent customer service. I'm currently walking the entire UK coast path solo for the RNLI with my Big agnes tent Aggie since July 4th over 7,600 walked and I am staying at a campsite nearby yo rest a sore ankle. Wow I arrived and was treated like a local welcomed in offered coffee and cake. The atmosphere was heartwarming everyone happy picking up provisions hot food or stopping by for a chat. A lost dog was found and kept amd cuddled by a staff member till the happy owner arrived to claim his doggy ❤️ fully recommend this wonderful place. Thank yoy manager Alex 5 star .

Visited Maidens recently for a week and used Little K’s kitchen every day . They do the most amazing salad rolls , super fresh too and also as I discovered rolls on sausage & onion . Absolutely delicious . I’ve travelled over an hour previously to get one of these salad rolls as I just love them so much .
