Rather basic setting beside a golf driving range, but clean with friendly staff, good snacks to meals range and tasty home baking. Needs more comfortable seating....

Have been here many times and never been disapponted with food, service or price. We have enjoyed everything from a tea/coffe and cake to a full meal. Everything freshly prepared and very tasty. Service is usually quick but it can be a little slower when they are busy, understandably. I am happy to recommend this tearoom to locals and visitors.

Have visited this place several times and expect to visit several more! Situated off the main road, it's worth the short detour. Excellent coffee, a great selection of cakes and scones and some tasty sandwiches. Very friendly and efficient staff on hand to serve you, a comfy, relaxed ambience and on a nice day you can sit outside and watch the golfers. Great place worth the visit, well done.

My wife and I visited the tea room for the first time today and I can say we will be back. We had a lovely toastie followed by tea and cake. The home made cakes were superb and the staff serving were very polite and nothing seemed to be a problem. So if you are looking for a nice friendly place to to get some lunch or afternoon tea this is the place to go. If your a golfer they have a driving range and golf centre which is an added bonus.

Took my mum out for lunch. Plenty of room inside for wheelchairs but the gravel outside in the parking area was a wee bit difficult to navigate. The food was lovely and there was enough to choose from plus a daily specials blackboard. Inside it was clean, fresh and bright with a lovely fireplace (fireplace shop is part of the business) and Aga range. The toilets were clean and tidy. There is outside seating which is ideal for dog walkers if it’s a dry day. The prices are on par with other local tearooms. Last but not least, the server we had was immaculate, polite, friendly and attentive. A wee hidden gem of a place just waiting to be discovered.

This is written from a wheelc hair user point of view. There are two entrances to the tearoom and if you are a wheelchair user then it is easier to use the side entrance, where there are two disabed spaces and a paved walkway to the entrance. There is a small threshold to enter the tearoom, but this shouldn't cause too many problems, although a manual chair will find it easier to go in backwards. The tearoom looks a bit 'insdustrial' from the outside, but inside it is warm and friendly, with lovely staff and excellent food. The menu is quite limited, but I think they take the idea that well prepared fresh food is superior to something that is just taken out of the freezer and blasted in the microwave. Prices are very reasonable and having tea from a china cup does indeed make it taste much more pleasurable. There is also a huge wheechair accessible toilet although the few times I have used it there was no handrail across the back of the door so it was a bit awkward to close, but there was always someone around to give it a shove.

We went for our usual visit a few days ago and were very disappointed. We waited an hour or more for our food (sandwiches) when although there were a few people in it was by no means busy. We didn't see much if any food leaving the kitchen for some time so heaven knows what was going on. Although the staff apologised for the delay, we weren't alone in waiting an unreasonable length of time for our food. Others also had a few words to say. This was a bad experience and will make us think carefully about going back.

We come to this small restaurant every week or so for a light lunch. The food is always freshly prepared how we like it and it's great value for money. They do a nice range of home baking as well which I wish I could try more of! If it ever stops raining, we will try the golf course which is part of the same venue. Fresh air, exercise and good food, what more can you ask for?Worth a visit.

Its also has a small gift shop which sell jewellery, handbags and other gifts. This tea room is also attached to the roodlea golf course so you could have a great wee day out golfing followed by lunch. Definitely recommend it to my friends

Past the sign to this place several times on the way to Ayr and decided this time to stop off for lunch. Lunch was nice with a good selection of 4 soups on offer. Menu selection not huge but adequate. Nice surroundings with a golf range next door. The only thing which let it down was the cappuccino which was rather small and flat more like latte.

Saw a little sign that said "Tea room", and as we were on our way back from Ayr and it was raining, we thought we would go and check this out. I think the main business is the Golf and selling Fire-Places, however, the cafe part was lovely. Has loads of butting and the china is very pretty and everything was matching. My partner and I had a scone with jam and butter and our nephews had a Mars-Bar cake. Now although the service was fabulous and you can tell the place has a lovely charm about it, I think to really maximise this appeal would be able to offer a full cream tea package. I honestly think you'll be on to a winner there as they had no cream for our scones. But honestly the food was delicious.

Thought we would try this little cafe whilst out for a drive down to Ayr. What a pleasant surprise. The main business I guess is a golf driving range but what a lovely little cafe. Pass through the doors to find almost a cottage feel with powder blue wood panelling walls with matching chairs with lovely comfy cushions. Various nick nacks for sale and a selection of paintings around the wall add to the bo ho look of the place. Enough on the menu to tempt most palates including cakes and traybakes made locally. I went for the chicken and bacon mayo triple decker toasted sandwich. When it arrived it was beautifully presented and looked delightful and fresh. It was one of the best triple deckers I have eaten. It is obvious great care is taken to use only the freshest of ingredients which may have been the reason for my only negative, the delay in our order arriving,it was slow but luckily there are magazines to keep you occupied. The waitress was lovely and engaged in the right amount of conversation to make you feel most welcome. We sampled the home made fruit cake and ginger cake, both were very nice indeed. Best surprise was the bill was lower than we expected for the quality of food we received.

Have been here many times and never been disappointed. Just a few minutes off the main road this little gem is part of the Roodlea Golf Range, a fireplace shop forms the entrance which leads to the very light and colourful tearoom which also has a little shop area selling some lovely china, toiletries and gifts. The menu offers a fair selection of drinks, snacks, cakes and some main meals which are all reasonably priced. Portions are good and anything we have tried has been fresh, tasty and well presented with good banter from the staff which is free of charge. If you fancy a change then this place is certainly worth a visit....

Went on a small adventure to Coylton Arms Inn. I have to say we will be back, the food is very good, a well seasoned lasagna with plenty of herbs, nice béchamel sauce and a good salad and french fries. The only small criticism was the lack of staff which made the wait slightly longer than necessary. The staff themselves were extremely welcoming and the ambiance was charming without being twee. Portion size was good without being excessive. All in all an enjoyable experience that I would recommend for a pub lunch.

Excellent meal. Very busy. We just dropped in for lunch as we were passing, no reservation. Food presented well by good staff. If we were to be passing again I would book. Reasonable price if not a touch on the expensive side. Choices in the area are slightly limited if you are driving through, but we made a good choice going to Souters. I would recommend a visit but also that you book.
