We have been at The Harbourside many times, for breakfast, lunch or just coffees and cake and have always enjoyed the experience. Was prompted to write a review after the particularly fantastic veggie chili we enjoyed today.. so good we didn't have room for the excellent cakes.. til next time 😊 Thanks all at the Harbourside

We stopped by for a coffee after a walk and it was really nice. Loved the decor, friendly service, and good coffee. We also got cake too, and it was nice to see vegan options.

Love old diners and spotted this a while ago on my trips down the Ayrshire coast. Birthday day made the excuse to jump in for a get away from the miserable weather pit stop and was treated to a decent all day breakfast, square, link, bacon, black pudding, tattie scone, mushrooms, tomatoes, fried egg and toast with refill coffee, the missus topped hers off wi a caramel cup of suitably gooeyness from Sutherlands cakes.

Very enjoyable and great food. Hosts were friendly and shared stories about the local culture. Recommend!

We booked a table for four and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Food was fantastic and it’s great that they cater to those with coeliac disease too. Most items can be made GF (the exceptions were pasta, burgers, pies and haggis) but this left a large varied menu to choose from. Will definitely travel the 1 hour journey just to come back for dinner! Desserts were great too (fish and chips and peanut brittle sundae photographed are GF!) ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Lovely comfortable hotel with very friendly staff who were super accommodating and helpful with everything you need. Rooms were clean and comfortable and a lovely view at the front of the sea. Food in the restaurant was delicious and home cooked. Would highly recommend for an overnight stay.

We stayed in "the courtyard" rooms, they are clean and the bed is comfy but we were near the front door and you can hear people coming and going with the door banging. Breakfast is nice but takes so long, need to give yourself plenty of time if you are going to work.

Made a visit here today whilst exploring the coastline. This in my humble opinion is not a tearoom but is a cafe, a nice clean cafe but never less a cafe is what it is. The facilities are clean and well maintained, it was lovely and warm when we came in from the cold. We sat very happily with our cups of tea. I ordered a full English breakfast and my other half only wanted a tea cake. The staff were friendly enough and served us quickly and politely. The food. My breakfast was the large and to be honest it was more like a medium sized one in other cafes. However the food was good quality and the black pudding was amazing . The views as you can see are stunning

Definitely a place worth visiting, South ayrshire has definitely been lacking a pub with decent food and the recent upgrade here is a welcome addition to the food scene in South ayrshire, coupled with extremely good service is definitely worth the drive, id recommend the wild mushroom tart with fungi from the local forests when in season off course, there is great wine pairings available with each dish. Comfortable restaurant and cozy bar next door, well done guys keep up the good work, id recommend booking because this place will be busy!

The Coylton Arms is turning into a real favourite of ours. We’ve eaten here quite a few times this year, which included twice in December. It offers an extensive menu to choose from, plus the staff that serve you are always really pleasant and not afraid to offer their opinion on the food you fancy. Prices are very reasonable considering the quality of the food and the restaurant is really nice inside. There is also an adjoining bar if you fancy a wee pre-meal drink. A family run business, well worth a visit 👍
