Amazing food, lovely staff excellent service well worth a visit

Visited the restaurant while we were down staying in the area. The staff were lovely and friendly, the pizzas were tasty and served quickly. The restaurant was dog friendly which was great as we were on holiday with our dog so we could bring him with us. Definitely recommend but may have to book during busier times as we were lucky to get a table

Chicken pakora starter was best I have ever tasted, specials menu had lamb shank was beautiful. Everyone at the table had a great meal.

Excellent lunch menu with very good range of small plates. Good portions, freshly cooked and very tasty dishes. The interior is bright and very clean. The service was first class.

We dined in as a couple, took the dog in with us and received a lovely reception. The dog was provided with a bowl of water and everyone came to say hello. We decided on a pizza each, having looked at the extensive menu for a little while. The pizzas were excellent and arrived very quickly. Two big pizzas and two drinks came to £38, seemed about right for the good quality of food and nice atmosphere and clean decor. We would definitely visit again if we’re back in the area.

Excellent food and huge portions, though a bit pricey. The service is great too so if you're in the area and hungry, this is definitely the place to stop by.

What a lovely meal we had and service was very good. Venue had a good vibe as well. Food was very tasty and portions were generous. Also good value for quality of food.

An absolutely excellent eating establishment. The restaurant had a lovely atmosphere, great seating areas and tastefully decorated. The staff were so helpful, extremely efficient and kind. The food arrived, on time, beautifully presented and piping hot. The meals were delicious, a great choice of menu and very reasonably priced. A hidden gem! Thank you so much for a great evening!

Went to The Greenside with a couple of friends and we had a great evening. We sat in one of the booths so that we could chat. We all ordered something different and everyone enjoyed their food. I had a Caesar salad followed by Eton Mess. Both were delicious. The staff here are friendly and knowledgeable about the food. There was plenty of parking outside. The only downside is that they only accept cash - so, take plenty!

What a revelation a true hidden gem if ever there was one! We stayed in Maybole for a week and after discovering the Greenside online we paid a visit on our first evening and from then on it was THE go to place for food and drinks its even dog friendly too for well behaved pooches. All our food throughout the week was cooked and presented perfectly with the steaks being probably the best we have ever had (supplied by the local butcher just down the road). A mention must go to all the staff at the Greenside every single person was pleasant attentive and very helpful not to mention super efficient in their tasks, all in all the Greenside has got the lot and well worth a visit long may it continue.

Visited yesterday and what a lovely find. Staff are all so friendly. Its a cash only restaurant and luckily there is an ATM at the Spar next door. Food was amazing and well presented. Hubby had the Steak Burger and I had the Chicken Fajitas, loved it.

This is a really good Sunday dinner venue - good choice of dishes food is fresh, well-cooked, attractively presented, and very tasty. We like the privacy of the booth seating and always feel welcome. Never had to wait too long for service and the prices are ok.

Popped in for a last minute lunch. Very friendly welcome, delicious food, great service and definitely value for money. We opted for the smaller size 'lighter bites' but they were very generous!

Only fault with my roast dinner was that it was a gammon steak....not roast pork as stated on menu.

Visited when staff were undergoing a trying time due to unavoidable absences and some food unavailble. Staff did their level best to accomodate me. Although Pizza is not my favourite food ..a great deal of the customers were having a blast with this item. Well designed restaurant, bar and kitchen.

We found this restaurant for the first time on 22.06.24. Although we didn't book they managed to fit us in. The staff were excellent - attentive, friendly and welcoming - a particular mention for Keela... The wait was reasonable and the meals were absolutely delicious and it was good to see the portions were generous - thank you

Decided to go at last minute managed to get a table, would recommend booking as soon filled up with no tables left, which surprised us as it was a Wednesday around 12, food was excellent plenty to eat and service was spot on, first time going will be back.

Was here with my husband the other day for some food and drinks and I've got to say this place is a hidden gem ! We were visiting culzean Castle and were recommended to try the greenside for dinner, I had Swiss pan roasted chicken and it was the best meal I've had from a restaurant in a long time...waitress was polite and happy and service was super quick given the restaurant looked packed and we even seen there was a beer garden. We had some cocktails after dinner which were spectacular and came recommended by the bartender who was hilarious and recommended us both a drink we loved. I cannot express how friendly she was however I did not catch her name she had colored hair and tattoos and recommended us more places to visit in the area. All in all a top notch dining experience and I would recommend it to anybody visiting the area

This place is amazing and stumbled across it while on holiday in the area. Visited as a family of 5 and everyone found more than one thing they wanted to eat from the menu! Fresh food, well cooked and beautifully presented alongside excellent service. The desserts are particularly delicious and our host kindly reserved the last slice of Biscoff cheesecake for us-she was wonderful 🙂.

Came here with partner for some food and drinks. Lovely atmosphere, felt very classy and homely in the restaurant. Staff were super friendly, the girl who served us was very knowledgable about the menu and dishes served, we ordered a tequila sunrise and partner had a blackjack, both amazing drinks. For mains he ordered chicken enchiladas and I got the gammon steak gluten free. Food was well presented, I especially liked the sauce which came with my gammon steaks, and was a good portion size for what we ordered. Partners first time trying enchiladas and he loved them! Would come back here!

Visited with a friend on a Friday afternoon, had a selection of the small plates and several drinks in their fantastic beer garden , Food was fresh and very tasty , great portion sizes too . The staff were on point , so welcoming and accommodating, the decor and ambiance is relaxing and chilled , We eventually moved to the bar are , had a few more drinks and again great service , we enjoyed it so much that we went back for our breakfast the following morning, and once again food and service were excellent, The Greeside is a great and well needed addition to Maybole. Thanks to all the staff for making our visit special . We will see you again soon. . . .

Popped in last minute and managed to get a table ....place was empty but was quick to fill up fast!!! Good menu Zoe our server deserves a special mention .....good knowledge about the food and great knowledge about the cocktails Lovely lassie I had prawn tempura ....lovely then fish n chips or should I say .....whale n chips it was massive Partner had goats cheese then cajun crepe .. she said it was fab! Lots of choices on the menu, every course was delicious, the staff were a delight, lovely fire on which was so welcoming, there were 6 of us had fish, lamb, beef strognaoff everyone loved their choice. Would definitely go back and have told others to try. Interior was also very nice.

We went for a birthday lunch - a warm welcome and really excellent food. Best pizza I've had outside Italy! (and a box to take some home) and husband's steak pie was exceptional. Good prices, friendly staff, excellent food and lovely surroundings. We'll be back.

My partner and I went there for my birthday treat. I had heard that it was good so went along today (Sunday). Staff were welcoming and friendly. We both had a starter and main meal with some sides. Food portions were great size we were so full up couldn’t manage a sweet. Food tasted amazing we will definitely be back to try something else off the menu. Table next to us were having the Sunday roast we were having a nosey at their plates and it looked absolutely delicious.

You shouldn’t leave here hungry as the portions are very generous. We ate here as a couple in our 40’s after attending a nearby funeral and really enjoyed the food. Steak pie was large with plenary of filling and the chicken burger was tasty.

was staying close by in caravan site and the Greenside Restaurant was recommended to us by the site owner ,Sally. When we entered the Restaurant we were met by a very friendly waitress who showed us to a table, took our drinks order and remained attentive throughout our meal , which was superb in every way. So pleased were we that we actually went back on another 2 occasions. Wonderful food and brilliant staff

Came for a birthday dinner with friends from London. Service was great, portions unreal and had to take some home. Overall ambiance just lovely and welcoming. Have been twice this month already and will definitely be back. Highly recommended

Out a drive and checked the reviews on this wee place and it didn't disappoint. We never booked a table however they accommodated us walking in off the street, which was ideal. Food was lovely, we had pizza & Enchiladas both very tasty. First class service throughout our visit from staff, a very welcoming place and relaxed setting. If we are ever around the Maybole area again I will be sure to revisit. 5/5 from us.

Had lunch today which was our first visit to the Greenside and loved it. Super friendly, efficient staff and the food was delicious. Generous portions and very reasonable prices. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful airy restaurant with friendly, smiling and very courteous and welcoming staff. I have to say the food: cheese nachos, chicken snitzel with pepper sauce and American burger with fries and side salad was so delicious and filling, we did not have room to try out their New York cheesecake, which we've heard is as wonderful as their ice cream. We had won a dining voucher at the High Society bar during Karaoke and I must say this is One of the Best restaurants we've been to in years. Highly recommended and reasonably priced. They also have kiddies portions and a children's menu , cocktail list and Beveridgs to.

We arrived without a booking and were welcomed by a very nice gentleman who was happy to accommodated our party of 5. Portions are very generous and the food was great for lunch. The fish and chips are good as is the chicken Cesar salad. Their onion rings are by far the largest we have ever seen. We enjoyed our lazy lunch at Greenside.

Lovely food although would have liked some salad with my lasagne. Cheesecake was beautiful but spoilt by the chocolate sauce on the plate which I don't like
