Amazing food at a reasonable price. Ladies were very nice and helpful

We have been several times with a large young family. Everything we have ordered on the menu is delicious! Especially the full breakfasts. The food quality is very high. The staff are friendly and nothing is a bother. The atmosphere is relaxed and calm. Buckley’s really is a must if you’re visiting Prestwick

I’ve not given a five star review for a couple of reasons. The good stuff first. The service was 10/10. Cleanliness 10/10 food presentation 10/10 friendliness 10/10 however…. I didn’t really enjoy my breakfast. It looked premium as said presentation was very good, but the quality of the ingredients tasted cheap. Also the portion was really small like really small. One sausage, one egg, one bit of bacon, a table spoon of beans and one slice of toast . 2 small breakfasts with a tea and a black coffee was £23. There was a more expensive breakfast available but that would have been near £30 and in truth it’s too expensive. Sorry it’s just not for me.

Buckley's Cafe/Bistro Prestwick 1st Class, as always! Great food with real flavour. 10 out of 10. Happily recommend. The Buckley…. Great Food with real flavour, cheerful staff …..a great Team led by Robin (the Owner). 10/10 I visited The Buckley when it opened several years ago and remain a loyal customer today. Robin (the owner) and Greer care about the food/flavours that they create and are happy to make little adjustments to suit a customer’s preference, without any drama. The “front of house” team that look after customers are friendly/helpful and cheerful. There are a lot of mediocre “eating out” venues where the food is bland, lacks real flavour and looks as if it has been dumped on the plate ……The Buckley is refreshingly different and the energy/passion from Robin and his team shines through. So, from me and the many, many happy customers of The Buckley ……To Robin and Team, keep doing what you are doing, we love your food and we love flavour ….that’s why we keep coming back for more

Beautiful soup at a very reasonable price attended by a very amicable lady

Based on reviews I went to try it, on two occasions it was closed , seems to open on irregular hours and days , feels more like a hobby for the owners than a serious business. Service was poor , two staff were more concerned about their whispered conversation than cleaning tables and serving customers. The food was very average , the coffee was bitter , I cannot understand how it has the reviews it gets unless those reviewing dont go anywhere else!

Yet another fab lunch at Buckleys. Never had a bad meal here but the food just keeps getting better. Absolutely delicious and bursting with taste - Korean chicken goujons were bloody brilliant - so much going on flavour wise and it just works! Food always comes pretty quick and lucky getting tables. A hidden gem for sure ✌️

My wife visits Buckleys regularly and I also visit with her. The food is excellent, service is great and nothing is ever too much trouble. Robin the owner makes delicious food. Definitely recommend.

Friendly table service, very tasty food and definitely worth a visit. Entrance (high stepp) needs a little care for someone not as mobile as they once were. Definitely returning though.

Had a very enjoyable light lunch with a friend yesterday. The popularity of Buckley’s is such that it was already very busy by 12:30. I can certainly recommend coming here.

A birthday breakfast! Out of love with more well-known venues in Prestwick, we tried Buckleys - oh my, what a find!!! Freshly cooked food, beautifully presented - and the fluffiest, fresh pancakes we’ve ever been served! Service was friendly and efficient, and they catered for the two boys really well. Breakfast for five at a very reasonable cost - we’re already trying to work out when we can return!

Went for breakfast. The Mexican one well worth a try. They make tea properly in a pot . service slick and friendly they have worked hard for this result and they deserve the award they won last year

The tastiest burger I have ever had! The pulled pork burger with all of the additions was simply divine, the juices were flowing from the meat and the spicy chips set it off perfectly. My husband had a gingerbread spiced coffee thingy and keeps raving about it weeks after our visit and wants to go back for that alone! Pleasant simple decor, lovely staff and great food..............what's not to like? We will definitely return and I can wholeheartedly agree with it's 5 star ratings

Excellent food breakfast or lunch

Fantastic meal. Soup and a sandwich x2, plus soup and cheese sandwich for child. Prawn & avocado with chicken & rice soup - Chorizo & salad/sricacha mayo with lentil & bacon soup - honestly both super with lovely side salad. Side salad in most places is pointless - not here, really good. finished with spiced mocha coffee - super - & latte with millionaire

The preparation of this food is so well executed. I had a mango salad and it was spicy and tasted different in every corner of the plate. The service was also very nice. It is excellent by any measure and I will definitely be going back. One small suggestion is that it is very loud and noise suppression is not very good so difficult to talk even over a table. Some sound absorption would make a huge difference. This is a special and affordable top quality restaurant.

I was in Thursday past 27th of Oct there food was very good but something has to be done about there front door steps I have Multiple Sclerosis (MS) walking is bad for me unfortunately my wife tripped going in and coming out not even a handrail to hold on to yes there is a wobbly rail but to far away they will have to upgrade there disability access before I will be back

We were heading to Wetherspoons for breakfast and made a last minute decision to go in here, what a great decision that was. The food was fresh, well cooked and tasty. The staff were excellent as well, and overall it was good value for money

Also they seem to care for their local community. have a social conscience Food of a high standard and cleanliness very good. This place is one of the jewels in the crown of Prestwick .

Had a brilliant lunch, the special panko goats cheese with plums, coleslaw and salad.

MissH & I were at this wonderful coffee house on Sunday 24th October 2021 and we were blown away by the excellent service by all staff. They were concerned that we might be getting too much of the sun in our eyes as we'd a window seat, they brought us extra water for our pot of tea for 2, and the food was so good to look at its presentation we thought it was a gift 🎁 and couldn't open it till you know when 🤣🤣. The food was as even more enjoyable than its look. The premises were so clean everything sparkled. Near closing time a couple came in and were advised that the kitchen was closed and the coffee machine was just cleaned but could offer them tea and cake . Marvellous

Got afternoon tea for my mum's birthday absolutely horrible big thick sandwiches in a plastic container scones where okay cakes were all dry and hard looked at bit like leftovers won't be ordering from them again so disappointing !!!!!!!!!

Forgot to write my review the other day! Came in with my mum and my little boy and it was amazing. Lovely staff, fabulous food and the coffee tasted so lovely we preferred it to costa ❤ Love the goujons! Currently laid in bed at 1 in the morning thinking about how good them sandwiches looked that people opposite ordered haha!! X

My wife visits Buckley’s fairly regularly. Today she had their delicious curried parsnip soup and a sandwich. The food is always excellent. The staff are very friendly and they always remember she is gluten intolerant. This is one of her favourite places to have lunch. It is spotless and the COVID adherence is excellent. The staff clean every table and chairs etc after each customer and they ensure people do as they should in terms of COVID. She travels from Glasgow as she enjoys it so much. Thanks again.

I've just eaten the best chicken and rice soup. The food here is delicious and freshly made. Always a great experience. And the staff are first class also. I also felt very safe in regards to the covid restrictions.

I think the service in Buckley's is second to none. The staff are friendly, informative, and thoroughly professional. The food is varied, interesting, tasty and well presented and good value.

Sit in at Buckley's regularly & also get take away's for lunch while at work. There's nowhere around does such fantastic, unique tasting food. Best food in Ayrshire

We had coffee and cake in this lovely cafe and bistro on Monday. To begin, fully secure Covid procedures from the minute you walk in the door. High quality, clear plastic screening protecting all tables yet not cutting the light and enjoyment of being in an eatery. Hand sanitiser freely available. Delightful, friendly staff obviously working hard to keep everything immaculate. I suspect this establishment is always very clean anyway! Now to the food! I had Biscoff cheesecake which was delicious. Coffee piping hot and very tasty. My husband, a scone connoisseur, thoroughly enjoyed his here. We saw platters going to a table nearby for late lunch and they looked amazing. Will definitely be back and thoroughly recommend this fabulous bistro.

I have been hearing good things about Buckley’s in Prestwick so decided I would give them a go for a family breakfast. You can find Buckley’s next door to the Viva Garden Chinese restaurant in Prestwick Main Street. On arrival you could see that Buckley’s are taking all the new health protocols seriously with a hand sanitizer station on arrival, socially distance tables and see through screens across the bistro. The service was very friendly and efficient which is always a great start. The food was decent priced and of a very good standard. We tried the big breakfast, French toast, filled rolls, salmon on toast and avocado and poached egg between us. Everyone throughly enjoyed their food. Pricing was decent and good value for money. I especially liked my coffee which was very creamy for a white coffee. Definitely worth a visit for breakfast.

Have gone here a number of times for breakfast. Good selection of dishes which are reasonably priced and delicious. Great coffee! Staff members are friendly and efficient. Excellent extra safety measures in place currently.

Planned for takeaway lunch fromGreggs on our day trip but a heavy rain shower changed that! So glad, what great food and friendly service. Pork nachos, amazing thick sliced sandwiches, tasty homemade soup left no room for desserts. Extremely clean, organised. Staff pleased to serve us, we will return again!!!

We have always been fans of Buckley’s and tonight’s take away meal did not disappoint. Every meal was given the upmost attention and despite having had many varied and delicious take away meals throughout lockdown Buckley’s was the best that we have had. We felt like we were eating out in our own home. The service was excellent, the set up for collection was really well thought out and the meals certainly were value for money. We ordered 3 courses each as we were having a birthday celebration. If you are looking for a delicious, quality, stand-out meal then we would highly recommend Buckley’s. Hats off to the team.

Ordered takeaway afternoon tea for 3 people today for my mums birthday . It was absolutely wonderful ( as always) it was more than enough for 4 adults and a child with some left over for doggy bags!... the sandwiches were delicious, the bread was lovely and fresh ... cakes and scones were delicious too. We thoroughly enjoyed it. I wouldn’t have ordered from anywhere else anyway as the food and service at Buckleys is never anything less than thanks guys Xx

Great little Cafe A bit small tables cloe togtherer but the food Is worth the visit. Good quality decent food Very tatsty . The coffee Is Good Is well . Only negative point was service a bit slow but food makes up for that.

1st time have gone to a Buckleys pop up dinner night. Set menu 4 courses for about £27. Was excellent food ... all 4 courses. Nice choice of wines and superb friendly service throughout. The 4 of us had fantastic time and will definitely do again. Thoroughly recommended.

For a change i booked Buckley’s for a night time dinner before Christmas, for 27 of us for a works night out. As always the service and quality of food was exceptional. Wonderful menu, lots of choice, beautifully presented food, which was cooked perfectly. Cameron and the front of house team were fantastic as always and helped to make the night a great success. Love this place.

We went to Buckley's today for a Christmas lunch. Started with Pate, followed by main dish of Turkey with all the trimmings. Like every previous visit, the staff are all very attentive, well presented and polite. The quality and presentation of the meals were first class and delicious.
