The room we stayed in within the courtyard felt dated & not very clean. There were marks & stains all over our bed & pillows and the walls had been half painted. The sofa bed was practically in pieces - thankfully we didn't need it. There was no temperature control gauge/air con & the room lacked a mini fridge as well which would have been very handy since we were there two nights. The breakfast set up was terrible - especially for a busy Saturday morning. The breakfast buffet was right next to several entrance ways as well as other tables which meant people were coming in & out causing a jam. Despite being down for 8am, there was barely any food left and the stuff that was there was freezing cold and undercooked ! Pastries were not replaced so there was none on offer, there was no milk but the teas & coffees and people were having to ask staff and the one cup of tea I managed to get was again cold.

We were there for a wedding. We did 2 overnights , we stayed in Annex 2 as did other members of the wedding party with the majority in Annex 3 . All rooms are of a very good standard , clean, warm and a good size. The Hotel itself is " old school " , carpet and wood panels , all in good repair. The Wedding Service was carried out in the Dining / Ballroom it was decorated with taste. The weather allowed the photos to be taken outside , with drinks and canapes served by staff. All in all...an excellent venue for a wedding.

Lovely place to stay, the staff were very attentive and polite and the food was delicious. One little downside was that there were no plug sockets by the sides of the bed.

We stayed in "the courtyard" rooms, they are clean and the bed is comfy but we were near the front door and you can hear people coming and going with the door banging. Breakfast is nice but takes so long, need to give yourself plenty of time if you are going to work.

Some staff very poor. Selectively refusing drinks with visitors at a wedding. Power hungry and gleeful in refusing drinks. No consistency. People will get drunk at these events. It happens. No one was that bad or over the top.

We had a lovely night away, Staff were so wonderful Gordon the concierge helped with our luggage from the car to our room. Also, Alexander was a lovely young waiter who served us at dinner. Everyone seemed happy at their work. The hotel is beautiful and we hope to return so would definitely recommend.

I booked two rooms for our party at the western park hotel situated in the courtyard area of the grounds . The rooms were very spacious and comfortable, well equipped and very impressive. The staff throughout our stay were exceptionally welcoming and went out of their way to make us all welcome. The food was absolutely beautiful (my compliments to the chef’s by the way).. All in all a wonderful experience and I would not hesitate to recommend. We will be back sometime soon I hope . ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Nestled in the picturesque town of Ayr, Western House Hotel is a true gem that surpasses expectations on every front. My recent stay at this exquisite establishment left me utterly impressed, from the impeccable service to the divine culinary experiences. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism by the staff, setting the tone for a truly memorable experience. Their attention to detail and commitment to guest satisfaction were evident throughout my stay, making me feel not just welcomed, but truly valued as a guest. The accommodations at Western House Hotel are nothing short of luxurious. The rooms are tastefully decorated, combining modern amenities with traditional charm. Comfortable bedding ensured a restful night's sleep, while the well-appointed bathroom (big enough to have a party) provided a touch of indulgence. One of the highlights of my stay was undoubtedly the culinary journey offered by the hotel's restaurant. Every meal was a culinary masterpiece, crafted with care and precision. From the hearty breakfast spread to the delectable dinner options, each dish was a delight for the senses. The ingredients were fresh, the flavors were exquisite, and the presentation was simply impeccable. Beyond the exceptional accommodations and dining experiences, Western House Hotel also boasts a range of amenities to cater to every need. Whether it's unwinding with a drink at the bar or exploring the surrounding beauty of Ayrshire, there's something for everyone to enjoy. In conclusion, Western House Hotel sets the standard for excellence in hospitality. From the outstanding service to the heavenly food, every aspect of my stay exceeded expectations. Without a doubt, it stands as the best hotel I have ever had the pleasure of staying in. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking an unforgettable getaway in Ayr.

We visited here for some lunch while on a short break to Ayr from our home in Leeds. Great choice of food, much larger choice of menu options than a standard fish and chips shop we are used to in England. The food was absolutely delicious yet somehow the prices are also ridiculously cheap. Will certainly go here again when back in the area.

It's been a while since we have visited a Buzzworks - used to frequent Elliott's back in the day! The Lido was a great place to eat, choice and quality of food, efficient and friendly service and ambience all right up there. Only marked you down on drinks as there was no 0% Kopparberg available, and my 0% Erdinger was a tad mmmrrrr - though that's probably my poor choice! We're already planning our next trip down from Glasgow, ideally on public transport so we can start to try your wine list! Thanks :)
