Love old diners and spotted this a while ago on my trips down the Ayrshire coast. Birthday day made the excuse to jump in for a get away from the miserable weather pit stop and was treated to a decent all day breakfast, square, link, bacon, black pudding, tattie scone, mushrooms, tomatoes, fried egg and toast with refill coffee, the missus topped hers off wi a caramel cup of suitably gooeyness from Sutherlands cakes.

33-35 South Harbour Street, Ayr KA7 1JA ScotlandThe café has a really warm and welcoming environment. The staff leave you to it but are very friendly and personable if you need any help. My boyfriend and I went here for just a couple of hours whilst we were on our holiday but we wish we could go more often as it was such a lovely place - it felt like they had their own little community. Big thanks to the staff and we hope that your business is thriving. We also managed to pick up a great game - Wildlands - which we had great fun playing that evening (would recommend).

115 Main StreetWhat a great find: a good value, good food, good service wee place. Homemade soup was delicious, scones were huge, the place was packed at lunchtime and I will go nowhere else when I'm back in Prestwick. Well done.
