Little K's Kitchen in South Ayrshire

Visited Maidens recently for a week and used Little K’s kitchen every day . They do the most amazing salad rolls , super fresh too and also as I discovered rolls on sausage & onion . Absolutely delicious . I’ve travelled over an hour previously to get one of these salad rolls as I just love them so much .

This wee shop just seems to have it all - for a small corner shop it has plenty of items for sale. I have had takeaway food from here plenty of times and it is good. Some people on here are wrongly rating it as a restaurant instead of the small cafe that it is. Pete and his family and staff are always welcoming and pleasant and they are always willing to help.

This is neither a restaurant nor a cafe but a shambolic stinking den that is piled high with everything you could possibly have a chanCe of selling but it's every were including in the so called restaurant , If it can't be put in. Deep fat fryer it won't be there as everything that can possibly be cooked in one is cooked in it square sausage , bacon etc etc etc , it is foul Give it a miss

Great place Pete is a star of Maidens been for years and provides a great service Whether bacon roll to baked potato all cooked well and great service Maidens wouldn't be maidens without it

Little K's is about the only place beside Wildings. You can get a hot caf style breakfast which is good but order a black coffee. If you order coffee with milk it will be white as a ghost. Food is decent but when starving it is great!

Food was good and well priced , a real little gem of a place, nothing fancy but good value for money

Home made soup, breakfast,fish n chips, hot rolls all good for sitting in or take away. We like to get a soup and sit at the harbour. Great value compared to more fancy places in the area, fine for a pit stop.

stopped off at this little shop to get some eats for a round of golf at Turnberry, we were pleasantly surprised by the range of hot food available and ordered up 3 bacon rolls with 2 portions of chips. all the food was fresh cooked and the bacon rolls were fantastic with the chips not far behind. all in all well worth the visit if you stop off in maidens

We stopped here as we had been to the harbour and play park near by, we had coffee and ham and cheese toasty, good price, but it is a shop really, but no where else it seems that you can get a quick snack,

Plain, simple home made food. Does what it sets ouT to do, feed hungry people. Service a little sporadic but very reasonable prices and big mugs of tea.

With no other cafes for miles if you're desperate for a cuppa you have to go here. Tacked on to a very busy and cramped village shop it is clean and light, but if you want the range of coffee shop coffees you will be disappointed. Some things on the menu turned out not what we expected, but that's our fault for not understanding the local names for them.
