Refused me a drink even though I had had one drink and claimed I was too drunk. Ridiculous

Très bon petit déjeuner écossais. Assez copieux. Remplissage gratuit du thé ce qui est appréciable le matin. L’établissement est très propre et cosy. Le personnel est très attentionné et de bon conseil. Le haggis est goûteux et épicé.

Booked in today to treat mum n I as we weren't able to spend Mother's Day together .Surpassed my expectations ! Round of sandwiches of our choice ,2 scones with jam n cream each and 4 cakes each .Certainly didn't come away hungry .The quality portion size and presentation was excellent . Chef did well and staff were all very efficient and helpful .Had lunch and breakfast here but can also recommend afternoon tea .Thanks team

Encantador y peculiar salón de té. Igual que estar en la habitación delantera de tu abuela y con pasteles encantadores. Me alegro de que elegimos parar aquí para un breve descanso.

Perfect place for fine British food and awesome drinks. Ended up going twice because it was so good! First time we had dinner and drinks. I ordered the salmon, which was delicious. Their drinks menu has lots of choices, all of them superbly crafted. Second time we went in just for drinks while we waited for the Makars mash bar reservation. It was great too!

We recommend the place not only for the food but for the whole experience! Great meat, great service. Our waiter, David, was adorable.

Order was over 1hr 30 minutes after initial placing. When it did finally arrive, they missed out the sausage rolls. Very poor, from a normally good location.

It was quite a great discovery. A great menu, the staff was quite nice and we ate well. The beer was quite disappointing, but maybe we didn't try a good one. There are vegetarian/vegan options. For the tourists, just note that the kitchen closes quite "early," so if you're used to eating near 8/9PM, it's better to go there around 7PM.

Fantastic service and food lovely. Very welcoming and lovely for a cozy drink. Would def recommend. Staff very welcoming and took the time to chat after our meal. Never felt rushed even though we were the last to leave.

Charming wee scandi pub but service bizarrely slow (it was a Fri night tho). Couple of young lads serving had the charisma of IKEA flat pack furniture.

Great place, lovely atmosphere and super friendly staff. the food is wunderful and the prices are reasonable. we had a great time
