Found them by lucky accident, a warm welcome not just from the log burner and soon we were tucking into a delicious steak pie and vegetables. We'll definitely be back to sample the huge array of cakes soon. Thank you Sandra & George for a lovely lunch.

A 2 min drive from our holiday let and a great experience. Saturday early evening dinner with our dog. Friendly and welcoming staff. Comfortable seating in a beautiful location. The food was served quickly and was freshly cooked. Pigeon and black pudding starter, steak, and fish mains plus a couple of fantastic puddings. Almost perfect (the medium rare steak was closer to medium well) meal and I would happily recommend to anyone in tgee area.

This is the loveliest tea room with the friendliest staff. They were so welcoming and even offered to give my boyfriend and I a lift! Such a great place to stop for a coffee near the loch. I would love to come back here!

Food was lovely and well priced. 2 courses for the price of 1. I got soup to start which tasted homemade, a hot roll and butter which was lovely. My main was tempore haddock and chips with peas and tartare sauce which was absolutely gorgeous tbh. Well impressed. My husband had chicken strips in spicy sauce to start and a burger with skinny fries and coleslaw which he really enjoyed. My son had chicken strips and fries for his main, his dessert was brownie and ice cream - from the kids menu as he is 9. My son's dessert was forgotten about for over half an hour but he got it eventually when I reminded the server; they were busy so I can't feel too annoyed. Lovely restaurant. Would eat there again.

My partner and I booked via booking.com for a couples night away as a wee treat. Really enjoyed our stay. The staff were welcoming, friendly and on hand to help. The pub was covered in fairy lights, paintings and interesting things to look at. Even a great view across the loch! We had booked one of the double cottage rooms and stayed in Room 5. The room to the back of the pub, was lovely and clean, comfortable firm bed and good sized bathroom. The room got a wee bit cold in the evening due to single pain windows but they had already provided a storage heater without having to ask, which was fantastic. Only main down side was the lower plug socket closest to the door was loose off the wall and potentially dangerous. So we just avoided it to be safe. Other than that no faults at all. We had booked for 5:30 for our evening meal. Went out on a walk and came back earlier than expected, this was no problem with the staff, who were happy to move up the booking. Ended up sitting in the pub for dinner, ordering at the bar. The younger female bar tender was lovely, helping us throughout evening. With a few locals and other guests in there, it had a nice atmosphere. We ordered the Sunday Turkey roast and Fish & chips. The food came out in good time, was piping hot, great portion size and was very tasty. Unfortunately we were too full for dessert, so will just have to come back again. Breakfast in the morning was lovely, the younger male staff member was friendly and very helpful. Apologies we did not catch their names. Check out was easy, just had to drop the key in a lock box in reception. Overall had a wonderful stay and will definitely be back. Definitely 5/5 just 4/5 due to the plug socket needing repair.

What a beautiful place to stop and rest to nourish the body and soul! Stopped in here for a coffee and cake and it was lovely. The staff were friendly, attentive and happy to chat with you. Service was great and unhurried. Coffees were very nice and the Paradise Cake 👍🏻👍🏻. Highly recommend it and yes, I’ll be back!!

We stayed at the Loch Lomond Arms to celebrate our 3 year wedding anniversary, and it was amazing. Our room was upgraded and we received complimentary Prosecco and dessert when we dined in the restaurant. The service we received from the staff was outstanding, we were made to feel very welcome. This along with the wonderful standard of rooms and meals made our trip feel very special. Beautiful location with lots to see and do - Couldn’t recommend highly enough

As a frequent visitor I feel obliged to leave a review. The restaurant is under new management. Friendly, professional and sadly at the moment in winter - quiet. Food is delicious and great value for money. With the staff only too courteous, we always enjoy a run up to the Slanj for lunch and cakes. I can’t comment on alcohol offering as I’m driving, but the coffees are lovely.

Ordered 2 paninis with chicken bacon and cheese which were tasty but small portion for the price charged. They came with a tiny salad and small portion of crisps. Had a coffee and hot chocolate and was charged £27. Next day went into Ben Arthur's bothy and we had a 2 course meal and drinks for only £10 more which was far better value.

Stayed two nights on the holiday park in our caravan. We ate at the restaurant both nights and loved the food, the hospitality and the general welcome of the bar and staff. Dale as hostess is fantastic and goes the extra length to look after customers. The food was great - good selection, well cooked and presented. Will def be back in the caravan and in the restaurant/bar for food and drinks

The dining experience and customer service here is absolutely dire. I ordered a vegan burger and was brought a beef burger - when I politely told the waiter that this is not what I had ordered he was argumentative and clearly annoyed. 90 minutes after ordering, both myself and my friend who had ordered a carbonara had not received our dishes, although others in our group had received their (very subpar) dishes over 30-40 minutes earlier. We went to the bar to request refunds, only to be told that they were being cooked right now, and so we could not get refunds. We were told the food would be a few minutes. A further 15 minutes later, the carbonara came out and was clearly just a microwave meal. My burger was still nowhere to be seen, so I again went to the bar to ask where it was. I was told by the same member of staff that it had just been sent out, so I went back to my table. I then sat for a further 15 minutes, waiting for this elusive vegan burger. At this point I had been waiting 2 hours. I went to the bar again and told the same staff member that I didn't even care about the burger anymore, I just wanted a refund. I was again told that it would be a few minutes, which of course at this point I didn't believe a word of. He then suggested that instead of a refund, he'd make me some drinks rather than the burger? Not free drinks mind, just drinks up to the value of the burger. Absolutely baffling honestly. Finally, a different member of staff came out and processed a refund for me. He gave me a vague apology about being understaffed. I left absolutely starving and with nowhere else to go for food. The single highlight about this disaster of an experience was the singer who appeared about half way into my long wait for a nonexistent burger - he was hilarious and kept me laughing despite my rumbling stomach. Avoid this place if you want to keep your sanity intact.

Stopped off for a breather during a drive from Glasgow to Oban. Great view. But don't go inside! The place is pretty filthy: contact of any kind with the floors was not a good idea. Didn't smell great either. Staff definitely not in line with the usual friendliness of the Scots. Drank my coffee with much trepidation, and left. Stayed away from the food.
