Ardlui Hotel & Restaurant in Argyll & Bute

Just an FYI - The Ardlui Hotel isn’t open mid week and nor is anywhere else in Ardlui! It made for a very chilly visit sitting on the platform at the station.

The food was delicious and the lady serving was amazing. The homemade steak pie was truly scrumptious. Superb setting

Wonderful hotel with fabulous friendly staff . Room even had a jacuzzi bath which was great after a long walk ( water could have been hotter) . Bar staff friendly and then was our waiter in the evening. Friendly and professional! Meal was superb and would highly recommend… as was breakfast. Only point of caution is the ferry over if doing the West Highland Way. Apparently if you are with a tour company you do not pay . We were unaware of this until fellow guests informed us . The Ferryman had informed them but not us and was unhappy when we brought it to his attention the next day . We were however refunded .

We arrived with no booking for dinner and were initially delighted that they could 'fit us in' as they stated they were fully booked ? Roughly one third of the tables were occupied in the two hours we were there , most of which was spent waiting for starters and mains to arrive. My sister had soup and I had ordered mussels. After 25 mins the waiter came back to inform me they had no mussels and what else would I like ? I said pate. We waited at least another 15 mins for these extremely simple dishes to arrive. My sister had macaroni cheese with a crusty roll which she enjoyed.I ordered mushroom risotto. When it finally arrived it had rocket wilting on top and a strong chicken smell emanating from it. I didn't say anything as we had waited so long for our food but I fished out pieces of chicken and left them at the side of the plate. I would have just eaten the chicken but one of the first pieces I tried was completely inedible as it was so tough. Never met a mushroom with that sort of texture,ever ! When the waiter came to clear I verified that I had indeed ordered mushroom risotto and informed him that his chef had used chicken as well as mushrooms in the risotto. He went off but came back roughly 10 mins later to tell me the chicken was indeed mushroom and I had made a mistake. I am a grandmother who has cooked since the age of 10 and fed many many people including running and cooking for a small hotel for a time. I know the difference between a mushroom and chicken. I was so insulted that they thought they could just imply that I had lost my sense of smell,sight and taste ( not actually said aloud but inferred) and just pass it off as passing strangers who would never return. Well they got that part right. We'll never be back. The standard of the food wasn't even good pub grub and was expensive for what we had. Sorely disappointed as my sister is here from Colorado for a holiday and we thought we'd stop somewhere traditionally Scottish with beautiful views and hopefully lovely food before going home after a lovely day at the loch. You need to pull your socks up hard Ardlui Hotel. This kind of service is just unacceptable.

Stayed here following our hike from Rowardennan - a welcome break! Good food, helpful staff, clean rooms, great breakfast and wonderful packed lunches! Only down side is the ferry only runs at set times, not on demand as some info says - we missed the 5.10 ferry so had to wait an hour for the next which was irritating at the end of a long day. Additionally 5 pounds each way per person is a bit steep.

We had a rehearsal weekend up at Crianlarich. We were all painfully hungover and Jackie and Angie looked after us soo well. The were the most magnificent hosts and cheered us all up to give us the energy to make it back to Glasgow. Food was impeccable too. We will be back x

Just back from our first visit to the ardlui hotel and honestly cant say enough good things about this wee gem of a place,!we were shown to our room by John,who was very helpful,our view was the loch and the marina which at night was beautiful.After settling in we went down to the bar which had a lovely wood burner,atmosphere was lovely and welcoming.Then went for dinner in the lovely hotel restaurant.service from John and Jackie was outstanding!they couldn’t do enough for us!Our food was fabulous(nicest fish & chips I’ve ever had)breakfast next morning was also superb,didn’t catch the ladies name who served breakfast but again she couldn’t do enough for us.we’re definitely booking again soon.To the staff…thanku so much for ur wonderful hospitality.

Visited on 7th January 2023. Food was delicious and cooked fresh. Host Jackie did an amazing job looking after us. Steak Pie recommended Fish and chips too. Sticky toffee pudding and ice cream for afters. Keep up the good work we will be back

Sat 26 march Room was fine ( great actually,) bit when we went down for dinner we had to wait 1 HR 40 Min!! Really not acceptable,the waitress offered a couple of free drinks ,even she felt awkward I bet. When asked ,I was told they had a new chef in ,I don't know how they can not serve food in that time ,btw everybody was waiting not just our table( even for soup / any starter) Mains were fine ,desert ,I had a " brownie" which was more a blackie ,burnt to a crisp,was like a bit of charcoal,should have been sent back but after the waiting fiasco I felt there was no point, was left on side of plate while I eat ice cream. Again ,this was pointed out to waitress who was full of apologies and offered to replace it,by this time I was totally fed up,this spoiled an otherwise good break,on the upside breakfast was good and we didn't wait long for it

Really great quality place and highly recommended. The rooms had top rate fixtures and fittings and the staff were nothing short of superb. Definitely recommend the place to anyone.

Decent enough meals nothing to complain about except the place not having any real ales! Staff very nice.

The best steak pie dinner I’ve had in my life! First time eaten here and it won’t be the last! Staff were lovely!

We had a decent bottle of wine, soup to start, then a veggie burger and a crispy tortilla filled with chicken and barbecue sauce. Filling, and tasty, good pub grub.

We had a fantastic meal as we we’re staying in our motorhome on site. There is two seating areas being both indoors, but some have a lovely view out. I’d recommend asking for a window seat with a view, for us it was not possible as hotel guests have priority. Overall excellent service and good food.

Weekend staycation on Loch Lomond . Hotel was nice enough though with so many empty rooms thought we might have got a better view than the bins & delivery yard near main road. But the service in the restaurant was painfully slow every evening despite it being half empty and you having to book a time. I think we were forgotten about . It’s quite expensive but there is nowhere else nearby which I think they exploit . We walked 2 miles to the Drovers to get lunch. The experience could easily have been so much better if the staff were alert. Having spoken to a couple of others this was not a one off. If you come up here stay at Arrochar or Duck Bay.

Absolutely love our visits to Ardlui, with great food and fantastic staff who are always just soooooo welcoming. The team are always on hand to to make sure our stay is just perfect. And what a beautiful location, the views are just outstanding, the perfect place to enjoy some relaxing staycations time with family & friends ‍♂️

Have always been a regular over the years and was normally satisfied with food and service. However, I went for a meal recently with a group of 6 and I was not impressed in the slightest. The service and attitude from the staff was despicable and the food was atrocious. I was appalled with the price of over 200 pounds when the food was not up to standard and our orders were mixed up. The waiter who I dealt with was very rude and condescending. Overall I can confirm I won’t be back and will be sure to notify all of my friends to avoid the place like the plague. A more appetising meal could be found at the side of the A82!

Had a fantastic night in Ardlui hotel, room was very comfortable and well equipped with views to die for. Food was delicious and staff were excellent with all the covid rules in place. Would recommend staying and eating here and will most definitely return.

Went here to stay at Cnap Mor for a weekend with friends. Great place, beautiful views and a great hot tub! Went up to the hotel for dinner a few times and they were very friendly and the food was delicious. My friends are all quite picky but everyone found something for them and enjoyed it. We also had two dogs staying with us who were welcome at Cnap Mor and the hotel. Would recommend to anyone. Will be back!

A fabulous location, which I approached via a ferry across the loch. An attractive comfortable room, good dinner and breakfast. Very helpful and pleasant staff.

Was really looking forward to having a meal here as had been told food was amazing. 1st impressions, clean, inviting. Taken to our seats and menus given. Waited at least 10 minutes to be asked if we wanted a drink. Food served, ok but definitely wouldn't recommend, also very over priced for what you get. Service was appalling, staff were wearing masks re covid but half didn't have them on correctly. 1st impressions wouldn't go back

Great location stunning views of Loch Lomond. We were a party of 3 that had booked for dinner last night no issues with the covid regulations and safe enough how they are running with this end watched member of staff meticulously cleaning tables.But the food really is nothing to write home about its very average and pub grub just more expensive so am glad we had taken advantage of the government scheme at the minute.Staff pleasant enough but not somewhere would recommend for food

Great hotel and restaurant/bar to go and visit. Me and my family went for some food and the service was excellent. This was at the berry beginning of the covid lockdown lift. Couldn't recommend this place enough.

I’ve been lucky enough to have spent much of this summer at Ardlui enjoying the views, food and watersports nearby provided by Loch Lomond Wakeboard. I’ve never felt unsafe so it’s a bit sad to read comments below suggesting otherwise. There are clear signs showing how WE should behave when dining and I firmly believe we all have a duty of care and it’s not just the owners who do. The food has been excellent and service great too given that everything is cooked from fresh and not just a reheat! The staff are friendly and helpful and really are doing a good job under the new guidance. Having been here before, the number of tables has been reduced to allow social distancing and it is working well from what I can see. The Ferry driver, Linden, is a quiet and unassuming man. Please don’t mistake his shyness for rudeness. He really could t be more helpful and reliable and HONEST!If you’re looking for a break away with spectacular views - easily the best views on the Loch, Ardlui is a great choice. It has a bit of everything: food, drink, views, activities and a range of accommodation options for allBudgets.

Stopped to have lunch on the beautiful banks of Loch Lomond. The place looked inviting but busy. Chaotic car parking. Unfortunately customers totally ignored the signs for one ways, no exits. It was basically a free for all. Once you got your table, people passing our table both ways within one metre. We felt totally unsafe. After having been so careful during the last 4 months, this was a bad experience. We couldn’t enjoy our food at all.

Covid Hotspot? Hopefully we’ll survive this scary experience but from sublime setting to grotesque dining set-up, not a relaxing place. Signs indicate one in, one out for the toilet. I’m afraid it was ignored when I went. Door indicators, yes but ignored. People walking six inches away, yes non-stop and various nationalities. People being blocked in in car-park, yes and loudly seeking the owners. Etc. So very disappointing.

We stopped off here for a break on our way north for a long weekend! It's a very picturesque stop and we sat outside with the kids and the dog! It was quite busy but most people were respecting the social distancing and we felt quite comfortable. We had coffees, teas and soft drinks for the kids and the service was very good with very pleasant servers!Our only disappointment was they were only serving meals whereas we'd have jumped at the chance of sandwiches, toasties etc!

I must admit this is one of these few places where rules on covid are completely and utterly ignored. Face masks? Social distancing? Indeed one of these places you better skip if you can. The view is nice though, so i guess in normal times it can be a nice place.

Visited for two nights with my partner and 3 young kids. We stayed in the walkers bothy. It was brilliant! The staff were extremely friendly on site and in the restaurant. It made you feel at ease for a nice relaxing meal which was delicious. All safety measures in place for current covid situation which was great to see, plenty hand sanitiser stations and one way systems etc. Will definitely be returning.

We've were here for lunch in our way to the north of the park, the food was tasty and the service quick and friendly.

I forbindelse med en enkelt overnatning, havde vi fornøjelsen af aftensmad og morgenmad på hotellets restaurant. Da vi kom om eftermiddagen, var det skønt solskinsvejr. Vi købte en øl i baren, og satte os i hotellets beer Garden lige ved søbredden af Loch Lomond. Skønt. Og udmærket aftensmad og en klassisk skotsk morgenmad. Sød og venlig betjening og fornuftige priser. Ikke noget at vælge imellem i forhold til andre restauranter i landsbyen, men det benytte de sig ikke af. Et dejligt sted.

We got the 1000 ferry to Ardliesh to walk the WHW. It was clear that the ferryman was not impressed taht he had to do some work! He was very grumpy and took our money off us and didnt give us a receipt or tickets so I dont suppose the hotel ever saw our fares! He was from the north of england and not Scottish which explained a lot. A lovely fery trip across Loch Lomond however.

Popped in to have some dinner. Both my husband and myself had some chicken fajitas. We we no disappointed. They were out of this world. The portions were huge and so so tasty!!!! I would definitely recommend them.

After missing our bus and whilst waiting for a taxi we stopped in here for a drink. It has seating inside and out, there are toilets available and a pool table. The owner was very friendly and a great host the bar had a large selection of drinks, try the Loch Fyne orange and chocolate whisky, its like drinking liquid Terrys orange but with a background heat.

We had s lovely stay here. Lovely food, great breakfast, friendly staff. Bedrooms where small but clean tidy and very comfortable.

Our hostess was very good and we had a wonderful time when we had lunch at this restaurant. Would recommend this place to all who visit Loch Lomond.

My daughter and I arrived at Ardlui Hotel & Campsite for a weekend get away, staying in one of their walkers camping pods. The pod was basic but just what we had expected. The heater had been put on for us and we found it to be really comfortable and cozy.We had a wonderful stay, out visiting the local attractions nearby, Loch Lomond, Inveruglas, The Falls of Falloch and more. We also visited the hotel for our evening meal where we found staff to be very friendly and helpful. My dog George was allowed into the bar where we enjoyed a delicious meal. All in all a 5 star experience.

I stayed in one of the Bothy Pods whilst walking the West Highland Way. Arrived just before the restaurant was due to close but we were still able to put our order in ( which was much appreciated by two hungry hikers!!).ordered steak pie and was amazed at the size of it when it arrived. It was actually one of the best pies I have tasted. Staff very friendly and helpful.A great big thank you to Tyler who arranged for our luggage to be transferred to Crianlarich train Station and to Shirley who went out of her way to bring it and to pick us at at Crianlarich Hotel and take us to train station.Fantastic people, xxx

Food was ok, fairly standard options, but they were ok, above average. Service is really slow though.

This was only a brief stop for coffee. But the staff were so nice and helpful, we wanted to record the experience!

Superb meal at the Ardlui tonight Duck and the Salmon ordered both cooked well an good value for money. staff freindly and attentive. Clean and tidy and the locally made ice cream was superb. Fantastic views from the restraunt. we will be returning soon.

I don't usually write reviews, but felt on this occasion it was a must. During a recent visit to Fort William for a family wedding we stopped for a meal at the Ardlui Restaurant for a meal. Despite not having booked, the staff were friendly and accommodating. The menu certainly caters for all tastes. I chose the Venison Bourguignon, which was delicious. The rest of the family opted for the Scallops, Mussels and the Herb crusted Salmon, all cooked to perfection & accompanied with dishes of a choice of 5 vegetables including a Turnip puree....very tasty. The children said the Macaroni Cheese was really good.

Was out a drive with my mum and aunt and we decided to try here for a bite to eat food is really lovely i recommend the southern fried chicken wrap and they said the macaroni was great . waitresses were very warm and friendly as were bar staff.

We had a snack and dinner at the restaurant on different occasions. On the first occasion, The staff at the bar seem inexperienced, but friendly enough although one of our party also had an experience where the staff member was quite rude, so this has coloured my review. Two of us visited the restaurant for dinner, and the service was attentive and polite.

Spent the weekend here and cannot recommend this place any higher than is possible. EXCELLENT food and the staff are amazingly friendly and helpful. The Sunday Roast beef was stunning. The lodge on the Loch side was beautiful. If you want a relaxing weekend in luxury? Then you must go here. I’ll definitely be back.

We did not stay in hotel, but ate in bar. The room was very smoky, the staff were very nice. The scones were dire, I think they were from frozen. My husbands sandwich was fine, but my chips were not great.

Traditional Scottish meal sat infant of a warm log fire, with the incredible Loch Lomond as the backdrop!

Had a lovely unexpected lunch at the Ardlui Hotel. We decided to stop off but we had the dog and wasn’t sure if we could get in but the staff were very welcoming and gave the dog some water and treats. The staff were very accommodating allowing me to pick something from the evening menu outwith the lunchtime menu. The view is fabulous and would recommend it for a drive and lunch/dinner. Especially if you have a dog as it’s hard to find somewhere that caters for them so well we will definitely go back again

I have had dinner here a few times, and the meals never disappoint. I have read some of the previous reviews stating that the service is slow, but I have never found this to be the case. Aye, OK, it may not be as quick as some city centre restaurant, but generally when you are out for dinner to a place like this you are not in a great hurry anyways.

Good staff and best place to visit. Good for family trip and water sports activities. Recommended for family visits.

this was a quick stop off on our way to fort William. I can honestly say the pot of fresh muscles I ate for lunch were amazing. I eat a lot of seafood and compare muscle dishes around the world and these were absolutely delicious topped off with bread and butter. i will definately return on my next run out up to fort william

There is a small car park attached to the hotel, there is seating in the bar area or in an area a bit further out if you want it a bit quieter. There is also outdoor seating with amazing views over the Loch. I had a lovely evening meal here, the Haggis starter was so tasty and a really good sized portio. I had the gammon for my main but felt that compared to the starter it was quite a small portion which I was disappointed with. The price was reasonable, the food arrived quickly and the staff were so friendly and attentive.

Naast het hotel is een soort minicamping en daar stonden wij dus. Met een machtig mooi uitzicht op het meer en de bootjes. We konden gebruik maken van het hotel voor de horeca. Het sanitair voor de camping wordt momenteel verbouwd, daar waren we wel van te voren van op de hoogte gebracht. We kregen daarvoor een pasje van het havengebouw om daar te douchen. Ietsje verder lopen, maar wel prima, goed en schoon. Vlak bij de camping zelf was nog een klein toilethuisje, 1 voor de dames en 1 voor de heren. Handig, maar helaas vond ik dat dat te weinig was voor de toch wel vele bezoekers, en zeker omdat het weekend was werd het ook niet goed schoongehouden.

Siamo stati per pranzo di passaggio. Ottima la zuppa di pesce. Ottimi i dolci. Nella norma i prezzi. Vale la pena fermarsi anche solo per la vista sul loch!

The staff were super helpful, the single room had sufficient space but quite warm. Tricky shower with hard to regulate hot water. Food was plentiful and the view is magnificent.

Have eaten here before and it was very good, unfortunately found the service to be slow this time, dishes were mixed up, one dish never arrived, just struggled to get anything right. Seem to struggle with staff and the guy serving just wasn’t up to speed. The food we did get was ok

We were so expecting a great time here, but were sadly disappointed by our room. But the pub, restaurant and grounds made up for the small, cramped and stuffy room we had. Staff also could not provide us with a working fan to help circulate air in our cramped room, but there was a fan in the 2nd floor hallway! The restaurant had great food, wonderful service and very nice atmosphere. The pub was a lot of fun. Since we booked over 6 months in advance, we were sorely disappointed with a cramped room that had NO VIEW of the water or the sunset! Just so sad for our walking trip. Oh well. At least the food was great. The breakfast was made to order and warm, delicious and plentiful.

Started off our Lochlomond day trip here by having breakfast, warm friendly helpful staff, nothing was a bother, not even the poached eggs!

Lovely spacious rooms. All the staff were pleasant and friendly. Got the small ferry over to stay a night during the West Highland way. Was a nice novelty to the holiday that I'd recommend although only suitable if an early start the next day is not required as first ferry back am is from 09:15 so depends on individual itinery for the next day as to whether this would suit, was fine for us. The breakfast was lovely and made fresh to order. The food at night time also very nice with a nice seating area outside to enjoy an evening dram while looking over a gorgeous view of the loch.

Had a camping cabin for a night whilst walking the WHW. Simple and basic but did the job. The campsite was under brief renovation so had to walk five minutes to use the showers at the Marina. Hotel did a good job of advising this fact in advance and offering option of dropping out if this was unacceptable. Site warden also advised that work was being done to upgrade and gave good directions to deal with the alternative provision. So, excellent management of a short change to what was on offer.

It is a great place to eat lunch and dinner. Food was tasty, the service very helpful and nice. Excellence view on Loch Lomond outside. I strongly recommend for couples and families.

Can't say much more than food was excellent and reasonably priced, service friendly and we had a lovely night in the restaurant. Highly recommended for food you're staying.

Nice place at the top of Loch Lomond, friendly bar and restaurant, took a while to get served and most dishes were ok but 2 were burnt but still brought out of the kitchen and to the table. Quite pricey for what is served but...

This restaurant are clearly understaffed in the kitchen ,7 covers took over 40 minutes to arrive, when the food did arrive the chicken was very dry, no check back was done with the meal until it was finished most restaurants do it within 5 minutes...

Stopped here for lunch recently following friends recommendations, a good menu choice and the food was excellent, well cooked and piping hot. The location at the top of Loch Lomond is stunningly beautiful, it's worth a visit for the views alone!

From the drive threw the hills and the amazing views of loch Lomond, this beautiful wee hotel was the break I needed to escape the hum drum of day to day life.

Tenía el abadejo goujons que eran bonitas y venía con una ensalada pequeña. Lugar agradable y cortés. Ubicación encantadora con magníficas vistas desde las mesas de afuera.

Estos chicos eran muy servicial cuando me quedé atrapado en el lado equivocado del lago. Un lugar agradable con buena comida.

The restaurant is surprisingly excellent for dinner. Healthy portions, good selection, beautifully cooked, and good service. It'd give it 5/5. The hotel and the breakfast are lucky to earn a 3. Service was terrible, we waited over 45 minutes for our food and they only brought out 1/3 of what we'd ordered. We were late to catch our bus, so we ended up paying for things we didn't receive. In addition, our room was HOT, with no way to open a window and with no fan available. My advice is to enjoy dinner at the restaurant and find somewhere else to sleep and have breakfast.

Wir haben im Ardlui Restaurant zu Mittag gegessen. Das Essen war gut, der Service aufmerksam. Unsere Gläser waren bis zum Rand gefüllt - wir wurden gut versorgt. Das gute Essen wurde durch die schöne Aussicht auf Loch Lomond abgerundet.

Good selection and great tastes. There was also a great drinks list and the house wine and local bitter are great.

Stayed there for one night after a cruise with the personal private chef on the loch. Lovely hotel with really friendly and helpful staff. Food is lovely but beware ordering any of the specials at dinner as the portions are really tasty but huge. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Beautifully situated hotel on the banks of the tip of Loch Lomond. Lovely service at the Reception and bar and very friendly staff throughout. Food is ok, lovely starter, but overcooked chicken for main course - this did not detract from our enjoyment. The main issues with the room were that it was very hot, and there was no way to control the temperature, plus the water pressure in the shower was woeful. However, pleasant overnight stay

Dogs allowed in the conservatory and bar, where breakfast and dinner could also be taken. Dinig room was more attractive but not dog friendly.

Beautifully situated on the banks of Loch Lomond. Nice restaurant and friendly staff. Good menu and nice food

It's not often that I am so disappointed. I've eaten in simple tearooms, truck stops and Michelin starred restaurants and can appreciate good at every level. Our meal tonight was very poor and very overpriced. A small over cooked Haddock with low quality chips was £13.45. The Chicken, Leek & Brie pie was unpleasant and the chicken very over cooked. The drinks were no better and the staff disinterested. A great shame as the location is lovely. Perhaps they need some competition.

After experiencing fairly poor service last year we decided to give the Ardlui restaurant another go. We stopped for a late lunch and waited at the bar to be seated. After being totally ignored by four different members of staff who were talking behind the bar and directly in front of us, we eventually interrupted them and asked if meals were still being served - we were abruptly told to sit at any table. We sat, and waited, and waited, for a further twenty minutes, in the half-empty restaurant whilst two of the staff concentrated on a large table of diners. Neither bothered to acknowledge us, let alone take our drink order or give us menus. After another five minutes, we left, but not before I stopped one of the staff and told her what we thought of the non-service! The staff were undoubtedly incompetent and lacked any kind of customer service skills; however, where was the manager? What training had the waiting staff received? Why were staff unable to deal with more than the ten or twelve customers at the one table? Were they new? In which case they should have had more support from experienced staff. Were they simply lazy? If so, why do they still have jobs? Whatever the circumstances, there is no excuse for such poor service and we will certainly not give the restaurant a third chance to redeem itself. For the record, we drove further down the road and had a perfectly good meal at the Slanj restaurant in Tarbet. The service was excellent and the staff very friendly and efficient. Maybe the Ardlui staff could take some lessons there?

We had a one-night stay at the Ardlui campsite, which is way too expensive for that piece of grass. Because we were a bit tired of our own dried-breakfast, we wanted to eat in Ardlui hotel. There's like this full scottish breakfast, and then some things to choose from. We picked 2 eggs with bacon and toast, and for my gf 2 eggs with toast. Server said very unfriendly: "I'll see what I can do". What we got:- fruit pudding with bacon- black pudding with bacon- 2 toasts with jamAs we're not familiar with this kind of "pudding", we did not like it at all. My gf is vegetarian, so she had only one toast to eat. All this after waiting for like 45 minutes. Also:- coffee can and mugs were dirty- server's clothes were dirty- very unfriendly

Visited whilst having a terrible stay at the Holiday Park to use the wifi. Staff sullen and unhelpful. Didnt smile once. Stood at the bar for ages whilst a staff member chatted to another customer who had already been served. Wasn't quite as bad as the Holiday park but not far off.

Just home from my two nights at ardlui hotel,had dinner in restraunt both nights,food was amazing,as was the view,very friendly staff .stayed in room 22 overlooking Loch was great waking up to that view,had our 2boxers with us and they were made most welcome (and spoilt)everywhere in hotel/bar,will definetly be back.Fraser Hamilton

Went for a quick coffee but it looks a bit tired. Good coffee and ok service. needs some money I think although it has a full schedule for the summer.

Excellent lunch in a beautiful location with outstanding scenery. Best Hungarian goulash outside Hungary

Small hotel / restaurant with gorgeous view of Loch Lomond. Good was good value - nice traditional food - and staff friendly.
