The best restaurants serving British food in Scotland

Excellent service I had macaroni which was the best I’ve tasted granddaughters had cheese burger which had to burgers in it tea was really good as well coffee machine was broken so no coffee staff where Brillant

It's always a pleasant surprise to find a pub with a good menu using local ingredients! We ate well, the service was friendly. The pub has a large garden. This must be one of the best pubs for miles in any direction! My wife left her sunglasses behind, but Tim, the landlord, was super-helpful, finding them and posting them on. We will definitely go there again.

Absolutely INCREDIBLE! Do NOT pass this shop up. The croissant is melt in your mouth, the sandwiches are delectable and the sweets,.. OH the sweets!!! The shop owner is so incredibly kind also. If I lived here, this would be a daily stop- hands down!

My friend had a hair in his chips and I felt sick and I don’t want to go ever again the chips are normally very good but today they were rubbish

Horrible. Un menú difícil de leer - condujo a una horrible falta de empatía por parte del personal. Me hicieron sentir como si fuera mi culpa. La mujer, que al principio se negó a tomar mi pedido, y me envió dos metros a la caja donde hice un pedido simple de tostadas francesas y tostadas francesas con jarabe de bayas, etc. La comida equivocada vino - algo cubierto yo chocolate para mí - Yo no compro chocolate - Nunca pido chocolate y fue rechazado instantáneamente (y cortésmente). Very cosy and cute. The view is amazing. Cakes and drinks are really good. Nice sweaters too. We saw sheep and lambs and i would recommend this to everybody!!

The steak was ordered, but the menu was quite limited. We enjoyed the meal, but my wife asked for a glass of house red wine, we were brought a bottle which was going to cost £26. My wife accepted it but she is not the type to complain. We were disappointed though.

Went with family to have a nice breakfast but were all utterly disappointed. Very small selection of breakfast items and all potions were far too small. I ordered full Scottish breakfast but left feeling hungry after spending over £1, sausages both meat and vegan were very nasty in their taste and all items were below average for an premium price - never again.

This cozy chilled cafe is a great spot to enjoy a bite to eat, coffee and treat. I had the three cheese toastie with chorizo which was perfect and my son enjoyed the kids macaroni cheese. We shared a raspberry and white chocolate cookie after. Nicest coffee I’ve had in a while. Staff were friendly and welcoming. We will be back!!

Visited the Isle just to go to the Spa as the website / treatment options were the most appealing that I could see in the local area. I was looked after brilliantly by Mahi, who did my treatment and was attentive, clearly very experienced and tailored everything precisely to my needs. Definitely an asset to the hotel. I have had many Spa treatments in top hotels around the world and this experience was right up there with the best! Highly recommended.

Really nice food, we ordered the roast dinner and it was gorgeous! Really friendly service also, special thanks to Jasmin who was rushed off her feet bless her, she really looked free us. Will definitely be back.
