The public bar is quite small & can be cramped when busy, if you have people playing pool & darts then the remaining space for drinkers is limited. Good atmosphere when football etc. is on the tv, staff usually good to serve quick, prices standard for Aberdeen.

Decided to go here for a quick drink before making a move back to Our local pub. Instead we stayed the rest of the evening due to a Northern Soul disco in the function hall. Good beer and good music, what more can you ask for. The staff were very friendly and not once did we have to wait for service. Next time we return we will be trying the food, as it looked very nice.

This is a review of the bar (no food ordered). The lounge bar décor is 1990s and the bar staff don't go out of their way to be friendly (but serve you without much delay). The usual range of keg beers and lagers is on offer, but don't even think about real (cask) ale. There is an outdoor seating area with panoramic views of the car park.

One of the lucky ones to get a table for Xmas day lunch with one sitting, plenty of hot food to choose from. Didn't feel rushed, atmosphere was great. Service was excellent and it was good value for money. Traditional menu was on offer.

Went as a party of 6 for a carvery lunch. Although the restraunt was slightly unwelcoming and a bit disorganised. However, the carvery was tasty and everyone in the party agreed that the food was pretty good. We will most likely be back.

Went for a Sunday carvery with family. I'm vegetarian but I've been to plenty carvery's who have a vegetarian option on the carvery and you can have the veg as well. This wasn't the case. There was one option on the menu of cheesy pasta with chips and garlic bread which just sounded like stodge and not very appetising. The veg on the carvery was a very limited choice. So I had a coke while my family had the carvery. I gave an average star because my family did enjoy the carvery and if that's what you wanted I think you'd enjoy it. The average mark was also because I've been to carvery's where you get one portion of meats, but can go back for more veg if you want and this has been the norm for other restaurants I've visited, but that's not the case here, one visit including the veg which didn't seem good value. Just my opinion. If there had been a vegetarian choice I'd have said we'd have gone again but we won't be visiting again.

I went to the new green trees to have lunch with my partner and catch up with some friends. The place has been completely revamped! It looks so much more inviting! The lounge is super comfy and definitely has that "chilled just relax" vibe. This is the kind of experience you struggle to find in a lot of places! They do have a freshly decorated bar also , with a pool table and darts board for those who like a game with their drink! The staff are definitely the most politest people I have ever met! I really don't think I could fault them! Super quick and attentive. I have been to many functions here and they are always spot on! My friend has even booked their engagement party! Can't wait to be back!

A good enough place to have a typical at lunch but lacks the decor to attract beyond that. Not a bad thing if you have kids .Decent pub grub

I have been on several occasions and never been impressed !! I was at a function the buffet was a joke (smart price is better than what they provided )the staff cleared the tables and chairs before the function ended !! The only good thing about the evening was the DJ it would seem it's just out to rip people off !! Wouldn't book a function or eat there ever again !!

I have only been for the carvery, and I have been several times. It is a good meal and the portions are plentiful. You select your meat and you are served an ample portion, then the vegetables and yorkshires are help yourself. The vegetables are plain but the meal is like I used to have at home for Sunday dinners. Will definitely return again.

I really enjoy going to this Pub/ Restaurant due to the great atmosphere and food! We were welcomed by very friendly staff members on every occasion we have been in. They have a great selection of food to choose from, and have recently just changed their menu and added some even tastier options!!The Oriental chicken Panini and the Meatballs are amazingly tasty! The presentation of the meals are also very nice and just make everything look more appetizing! All the staff are so pleasant and friendly and would do anything for you. I would definitely recommend giving this place a try whether its for a quick light lunch or a proper main meal. The Carvery on a Sunday is also worth a visit!!

went for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. Starters of soup (with an OVEN baked bread roll) arrived within minutes of ordering and it was obvious this had been reheated in the microwave-the bread roll was far from oven baked and again I'd say microwaved which I almost broke my teeth trying to bite into. decided to have another starter rather than a main.one of which was the sesame rolled chicken fillets - these were passable. The other being a prawn cocktail which looked good but on closer inspection had old withered brown salad leaves,a slice of stale brown bread. Good amount of prawns although questionable if these were fresh. Garlic bread well fired. Chips tasted as if fried in old oil. Atmosphere non existent no background music, only noise was the staff busy organising for an event that evening in the bar. Have visited in the past and food was lovely so a little disappointed and probably won't return.

We had a lovely experience at the green trees. The soup was absolutely beautiful and the carvery was splendid. Choice of 3 meats and the turkey/gammon just melted in the mouth. Choice of 3 veg and the creamy cabbage is second to none. Also choice of boiled/roast potatoes and proper skirlie/Yorkie. No room for desserts, but hubby and brother-in-law had the sticky toffee pudding and had to have a taste and it was die for! The waitress couldn't have been more helpful and we will definitely be returning!

On a Saturday night I was disappointed to find they were only serving bar suppers. The friendly staff were asking for our food orders as my wife was still looking at the menu.I found the food on offer very expensive for a bar supper. The cheeseburger i ordered, (£9.95) was the cheepest burger I have ever eaten. Draped in a dry cheedar cheese with a dried up bun (which I never ate) and with what I would describe as Asda Smart Price chips. I could go on.When paying the bill the friendly waiter asked if everything was alright. I explained that it was disgusting. He did ask me if I had complained earlier. I informed him that no one came to ask if the food was OK. He did offer to do something for us the next time we were in. However, that won't be happening.

We arrived a bit earlier for our reservation for Sunday lunch so got the choice of which table to sit at – there was loads of tables but the place was virtually deserted (just one other table in) but was slowly starting to fill up when we left.A drinks order was promptly taken and literally as soon as they were returned they wanted our food orders. Not sure if it’s just because it was a Sunday that there wasn't much choice and there was only 1 option on for a vegetarian. I opted for the Sunday carvery and the chef carved 3 nicely cooked slices of roast beef (turkey and ham also available) for my plate. You then had the choice of Skirlie, Yorkies, roast/boiled potatoes but only a choice of two veg – neeps and what looked like creamy leeks. The beef was delicious and I polished every morsel off. There was a limited choice of dessert but the baked cheesecake tasted nice however the cheap tasting ice-cream let it down. Not sure if I’d rush back or maybe go on another day when hopefully there is more choices on offer.

2 of us had a bar supper - the starters were fine - pakora and bit of salad but the main courses were not good! The batter on the fish was thin and soggy (squelchy actually!) and the chips with both meals were awful! A bit of salad accompanied the meal.We were offered a free pudding but declined. Drinks were sent over as compensation. On reflection I should have refused to pay for this food. The place itself isn't very inviting either, wouldn't hurry back

Went to get a bite to eat for dinner and a few quiet pints. The pints were flat and served by a disinterested bar tender. The bar smelled stale and was dark and gloomy in appearance. We decided not to eat as the board only showed cheeseburger or toasties. No help was offered as to whether or not a restaurant was attached and open. We went to a different pub not too far away and had a great time with friendly staff

Decided to try this for Sunday supper. Turned out it was a carvery which was very good. What let this venue down is the featureless room which had no atmosphere. There was also a radio station being played which added to an already hectic mishmash of noise. On this visit the older of the two waiting staff was quite rude and blamed us for his obvious lack of attentiveness. This will certainly put us off returning.
