Been here several times, food and drinks are always spot on. Staff very friendly and tables cleaned and cleared regularly. Can't go wrong

Avoid, after being served a luke warm curry with a half a spoon of rice and a couple of oil drenched poppadum, a freezing cold (not even tepid) apple crumble and custard, couldn’t even microwave a crumble, when handed back to a Team member to complain I was asked if I wanted it putting back in the microwave, not even an apology 😔👎🏻

Was having a good night with my mates. Then I went up for a drink, the woman at the bar lacked customer service skills and was very rude. She had a very bad dye job that is her only distinguishing feature. Really bad, her black with streaks of white or blonde feck knows what her “vision” was

Busy place and very cheap, good food and drinks.

Decided to have a night cap of a gin and tonic yet no tonic, wow never heard such a thing, the size of this place and no tonic.

In need of a good clean, tables were sticky, heating surely not working as fan heaters everywhere

I had my friend's bday celebration here and really enjoyed the night The food was nice and the place was ambiance I really would like to go here again

Unfortunately, after two years of coming here every weekend for breakfast, I have decided to stop coming. If you come to drink it's great but unfortunately the food (breakfast) is lamentable, the quality has gone down and if they don't serve reheated food they serve it cold. It's a shame that the quality has gone down and the price has gone up.

The food was shocking. The breakfast looked like it had been lying under a hot plate for a week. The baked potato was dry inside and the salad was withered. When we complained about it we were offered replacement dishes which we refused but we were not offered a refund or a discount on the bill which was already paid in advance of ordering. Not recommended

If you go to the toilet be sure to take your drink with you. I left mine and returned to an empty table! Enquired at the bar, to be asked if I told anyone I was going to the loo! Any unattended drinks are cleared. I asked for a replacement but was refused. Appalling customer service.

Popped in for a drink today discovered they have a decent selection of reasonably priced craft beers from local brewery Fierce. Limited food menu currently as the kitchen is being refurbished. Friendly staff.

I've always believed wetherspoons has had a great selection of food a drink considering the price. My husband coined the phrase 'dump and run' when dropping our kids at school. This was definitely my experience today. Ordered on the app and the female manager on duty literally threw our drinks at us with no acknowledgement of our existence and ran.

Arrived at 11:30 am with 12 people for breakfast. Went straight in and ordered at bar for breakfast. I ordered smashed avacado muffin with poached eggs, 3 people after me ordered eggs Benedict and was told there was no eggs. 4th person ordered and was able to get eggs? Also told there was no beans on toast, and wasn’t allowed to order toast on side as they had to keep the toast for full breakfasts??? The manager stood beside the man serving us at the desk and was laughing / smirking when we were asking what they actually had left that we could order. Also, customers went up after us and were able to get the things we wanted to order but we could not order as there was none. Service was absolutely appalling. The manager came over to give out two stacks of pancakes we had ordered, and sighed and tutted whilst serving food , blowing his lips together while serving pancakes, acting very unprofessionally and very unhygienic. Took over 40 minutes to get all breakfasts out; eg fruit, pancakes, porridge. Nothing too strenuous or hard to make which would justify taking so long. Very disappointed in our visit to Wetherspoons. Manager very very unprofessional. Manager came over with all the receipts due to us missing 2 plates of pancakes, and a fruit bowl. walked away shaking his head after us explaining.

The Budweiser had a really bad taste of chemicals in it. Got it changed no problem but the second one was just as bad, first time this has ever happened to me in a wetherspoons, had to leave the beer, but it won't put me of wetherspoons.

Came here on my own, it's 1 of 2 Wetherspoons in the heart of Aberdeen along with The Archibald Simpson a short distance away. It's another decent Wetherspoons, staff are being attentive & the food quality is great.

I visit regularly for a swift one after work, the staff treat me as family, erin, ross1 and Ross, lynsey, Jayden, Collin, Mel, beks, charlie, Mark and Ryan all the best!

Visited for breakfast, good sized portion, great flavour, unlimited coffee an added bonus. All at a very reasonable price. I would definitely recommend this start to the day..

Although prices have increased fairly substantialy, its still ok for a visit. The place gets very busy later on in the afternoon at weekends, and getting a drink can take a bit of time. Fish and Chips on a Friday are very good.

After completing a course in Aberdeen a few of us dropped in here at the start of a night of celebration. A fairly large Wetherspoons, perfectly positioned drinking hovel.

Great bar for food and drinks. One of the better spoons I have been in. Only downside was having to walk upstairs to the ladies and downstairs to the male toilets.

Vape central this place is!!! If it's not the younger generation it's workmen who think they're being sneaky by holding them under the tables and have a puff when they think no-one's looking. Stinks of sweet smelling smoke!!! Thought it was illegal to vape in public houses? Bar staff don't seem to care. Like to see what they would do if someone lit a cigarette indoors?!?!?

Collin gave excellent service. Brought my food to my table in such grace and style, and ensured that I was catered for in a way I've never seen in any other Wetherspoons before. He brought a smile and a laugh to a quiet day, and it's something I'll remember 11/10

A decent pub. The food isn't haute cuisine, but it is spoons and you aren't paying for haute cuisine, so price vs quality it's completely acceptable. Service is good, have been going there for a couple of years now and it's nice to see that a lot of the staff are still working there. Overall, I'd give it a big thumbs up especially when as an Englishman, I ended talking with a couple of local guys as though I'd known them for years - no amount of money could buy that kind of vibe. Love it and Love Aberdeen.

Working in Aberdeen for a few months this year. 4 visits to this spoons and only once was my food good enough to eat.

Absolutely atrocious service. Young staff could not identify any of the spirits on sale. Asked for a Glayva and was asked to spell it , then said they don't sell it but I pointed it out on the shelf , she then poured a glass of Glengoyne whiskey instead , unbelievable ! and the same response when I asked for a brandy which I pointed out and she poured a white rum ?

Had visitors from Canada so took them for a meal and a few drinks. Choice on the menu suited everyone. Everyone enjoyed their meal

We are regular visitors to wetherspoons because we find this company very customer oriented- great value for money, staff friendly and food usually good I usually get the fish and chips. Fish was half the Size it normally is. very dry and the batter was so over done it nearly broke my tooth Complete waste of staff time and customer money. This meal usually fills me up for hours Went home still hungry In future, Can the kitchen manager please check each plate before it leaves the kitchen or change their suppliers.

The lemon chicken meal was great, the skinny burger unfortunately wasn't warm at all. The meals were very reasonably priced! Friendly staff. The app for placing an order didn't work.

I had a good time here. This is a very commendable restaurant. It is conveniently located in the heart of Aberdeen's commercial activities (Union Street) and has wonderful atmosphere. Ordering food was very easy, as I was able to just scan a bar code on a menu and order through my phone. The waiter was very polite and professional, and the food was tasty. I recommend the medium rare steak. I also found the prices to be very reasonable. There is no parking outside, however, as the entrance is located right on the street, so that might be an issue for some people.

Ordered a pint of beer, it turned up warm and flat. Asked for another which was colder. I had fish, chips and mushy peas, the chips and peas were just warm. Daughter had burger, chips and onion rings. Again, chips were just warm. The cutlery was dirty, with food on! Worst spoons we've been in and we definitely won't be returning!

You can get a decent and affordable meal here and of course, the drinks are cheaper than most pubs.

All good and fair. Decent prices and at least transparent regarding nutrition info, allergies, etc. They could improve the amount of vegetarian/vegan dishes and put more greens on the menu, however, maybe people just want regular pub food anyways. Great variety of beverages (non/alc) is offered. More desert options would be a nice improvement. There is no direct service at the table, one has to order by app or at the bar. The service staff is very friendly and I hope they get paid well.

Had to wait here for my partner, had unlimited coffee for cheap and we had a big lunch before we took the train to Edinburgh. Good place and large, plenty of seats, breakfast is good and the bacon tastes better in Scotland than England.

Birthday hangout with friends ruined!!!!!!! Had bad encounter. Had to call to make enquires to have a birthday hangout with about 8 friends. Time to go was stated to them. We got there, found our seats, and were ready to order our food. Got to the counter ordered the first meal and was ready to pay where one attendant told us they will need to inspect our ID cards after 8pm. Meanwhile, we called the previous day to make enquiries and if that is the case, should it not be better to be told before coming? This ruined our day and we had to settle somewhere and frankly the birthday ruined. was never happy with that.

Terrible. We visited this pub for a meal. Never great food, but okay if you need a quick meal usually. On this occasion, the service was appalling. My husband and two adult sons we there and bought drinks while waiting for me to finish work. My husband and one son had a pint of lager each, the other had a coke. When I arrived my son bought another round of drinks. We were chatting, having a nice time. We decided to order some food. I went to the bar with my husband, ordered food and drinks and paid £34 on my bank card. Everything was fine. It was fine until the manager intervened and told me to present my card again for a refund. I was completely confused! I asked why?, She told me my son was not old enough to drink alcohol. My son showed his driving licence, stating his age of 25. She still would not accept it and told me "if you dare back chat one more time, I will cancel your refund". I pointed out to her that my son had 2 pints already. Why was this an issue now? I told her to take another look at his photo driving licence, she refused. We had been sat quietly at a corner table, talking amongst ourselves. It was completely ridiculous and unjustified. I asked why she had served him twice and refused on the third. She just glared at me and told me management had the right to refuse and didn't need to give a reason. I still haven't had my £34 refunded to my account. We eat in the justice mill regularly and until that day we have never encountered any issues. She would not look at his ID and was so rude it was unreal. I will never go in a Weather spoons again. They took my money and I can't get it back.

CONSTANTLY running out of stuff!! Every time I come! Both my first AND second drink choices were sold out tonight by 11pm. This place needs a new manager.

The place is nice with a huge mosaic floor at the foyer, but make sure you tell the bartender how to make your shandy. If you take the drink back, the staff would be angry at you.

Updated review from 6 years ago, first time in a long time since I've been here, still feels the same, good mix of ages, some cosmetic upgrades but still a good meeting point to kick-start a night out. Usually very busy at the weekends, which is a good sign, getting a table is a hit or a miss, got to be in sharp. Waiting time to be served at the bar can be lengthy on a busy night unless you catch the eye of the bartender, but understand that they are exceptionally busy serving other people, but you will get served. Staff are friendly, and the door stewards are friendly and chatty.

Came in for a pint and mixed grill after a funeral excellent service and very pleasant staff

As always service was friendly and fast. Great value for the price. I lost my wallet not realising it till I got home and was delighted to have it returned intact the following morning. A big thankyou to the staff.
