Food selection fair, small portions, not much choice for a light meal and fairly expensive. Good gift shop attached

This garden centre restaurant has changed hands and has been redecorated and it looks great. Very comfortable. Menu is largely the same and is fine for a snack lunch. Regular haunt.

The second time I've been here, and not been disappointed. The fish today was beautiful, the batter light and crisp and coverd the plump, fresh fish without all the 'extra bits' on the ends. Looking forward to trying more from their menu.

Up from Edinburgh and stopped off here for light lunch toasties were fine but lunch was served on a wooden board, crisps and coleslaw served in bucket and pot plant thing, would have been more enjoyable if it was served up on a plate £17.25 for 2 toasties and 2 teas, rather expensive , will not be back

Came here to avoid the roadworks (wished we had braved the roadworks and gone elsewhere!). Had to wait to be provided with a menu, then had to wait again whilst someone came to take orders. Chose the soup, cos we thought at £7:95 for most of the other choices (including a sandwich or baked potato) was a little expensive. (and having seen the portions delivered to other tables - it was a wise decision!) The soup was nice, and afterwards we went to the cabinet to choose a cake, which seemed "not the right thing to do" as we were told to go back to our seats, and she would be right over to take our order. It was almost as if we should not be there, and it was a bother to serve us! We witnessed others experience a similar level of treatment. And we and others had to wait some time to pay our bill. Not really a great experience, and not the best service - very disappointing!

Way over priced! came out still thirsty and hungry ... Waste of money

We called in for a quick lunch after a morning of heavy-duty gardening, and were dlighted by the burger and chilps, and secret sausage and mash. With the food cooked to order, it was hot and tasty. There is plenty on parking at the garden centre which sells the usual garden centre stuff. I didn't realise it is nearly Christmas, as we have just had the Lammas fair in St Andrews. Still, I will propbably be back after more gardening

The cafe is attached to the garden centre and is an ideal spot for alunch or snack. There is plenty of parking right outside. The cakes are good, lunches reasonably priced and the staff are friendly and welcoming.

We always make a point of dropping in to Cuisine Ecosse when we are on our way to St Andrews. It is situated in the garden centre in the Eden valley business park outside Cupar. The food is freshly prepared on the premises and you can have anything you want at any time of day. The soups are a must as is the steak pie. The staff are very friendly and Pamela always welcomes us cheerfully. The food really is top notch and Cuisine Ecosse is worth a visit if you are like us and like good food.

Attached to the local garden centre, this can be included as part of a wander out. The garden centre is well stocked, and the gift shop is full of unusual and quirky presents which always delight. The restaurant does get very busy, so service at times can be a little slow. However, the food is of good quality, and good value for money.

Coffee were good and our cakes were lovely. I chose an empire biscuit which was lovely and buttery with just the right ratio of jam to icing to biscuit- Hazel makes them herself. My husband had a fruit slice with rough puff pastry, it was packed full of juicy fruit. Despite arriving twenty minutes before the cafe closed we were never made to feel we had to leave quickly. Staff were friendly and efficient.

We had a lovely lunch here, can't understand some of the other reviews. We had omelettes with chips and an extra side salad to share (as some places are a bit skimpy on the salad for our tastes) but the main plate actually came with a good amount mixed salad. It was absolutely delicious. We chose not to have dressing on our salad but it was still very interesting and tasty! We treated ourselves to pudding which we both enjoyed too, and also noticed a lovely selection of home baking. The service was great and the staff friendly. It's table service rather than queue at a counter style. Will definitely be back again.PS Coffee was good too, but pricey for the size of the cups...a complementary top up would make it perfect

My wife and I ordered a club sandwich each, at £7.95 and they definitely need to google or look up the definition of a club sandwitch. I could have bought this in tesco for £3. Maybe they did because it resembled a packet sandwitch. Our clubs came out cut in half with soft non toasted bread, there was grated cheddar cheese on top of hard sole of the shoe style bacon, small bits of chicken and lots of lettuce. It was disgusting and when the server asked if we enjoyed our meal I said no, as this is not what a club sandwich should be. I then explained that the bread is usually toasted, she replied with surprise "you should have asked if you wanted it toasted" priceless! Totally ignorant of how a simple club should be prepared. Then I asked about the cheese, her reply was a shrug of the shoulders, incredible. No offer was made to make things better so we reluctantly paid and left. Never be back here and will make sure I spread the word.

My wife & I used to visit here regularly & loved the food in the cafe/restaraunt which always used fresh ingedients & was well cooked. A few months ago everything seemed to change & we both were served the most disgusting meals!I vowed never to return but this week my wife persuaded me to give it another try. If anything it was even worse than the previous visit & the food was dreadful. Have you ever seen a so called 'Beefburger' which had two 'fritters' in a bread roll which was buttered & tasted nothing of beef? My wife's so called omlette had her up all night vomiting.I just cannot believe what has happened here but the food was so disgusting it was (on both occasions) virtually inedible. After leaving virtually all of my so called burger I left before the staff could realise & ask me why. I know that was the wrong thing to do but they are so nice & I do not like any unpleasentness. They have always been so pleasent with good service, as indeed have the staff in the garden center itself. I just cannot imagine what has caused the change?I will contiue to use the garden center but it will take us a lot of persusaion to ever use the cafe/restaurnt ever again.

Okay place to have lunch or coffee with a friend. It used to be my favourite place but has changed and I can't figure out what has gone wrong. Perhaps it was trying to be too upmarket for a while whereas most people I know enjoyed the comfort food aspect.

My friend and I often go there for coffee and a bacon roll in the morning, and although pricey the bacon is good. Lunchtime menu is good and food is prepared freshly. However for the surroundings, etc, we find it is a bit pricey and if they are busy service is very slow. Worth a visit.

We regularly pop along here for a bite to eat and are never disappointed. The food is always well cooked and presented and the menu is very interesting with its choices. The staff are absolutely fantastic and always do that little bit extra. One staff member even gave my baby daughter her own yogurt from her own lunch box as they didn't have one for sale! Very highly recommend a visit here and we will of course be returning!
