Excellent service I had macaroni which was the best I’ve tasted granddaughters had cheese burger which had to burgers in it tea was really good as well coffee machine was broken so no coffee staff where Brillant

I just so happened to daunder into this little gem on my lunch break for a haggis and egg roll then spotted the home made sausage roll and it was an absolute delight possibly in my top 5 would highly recommend dawns sausage rolls

Went in for a quick breakfast roll on passing, first time visiting. Smells of grease the minute you walk in, lady serving couldn't crack a smile and came across very abrupt - maybe because I am not a local. The bacon was very greasy and made the roll soggy. It was cheap so I suppose you get what you pay for. Won't be back, there are other cafes on the street so will try them next time.

Lovely fish and chips, crispy and excellent value at special offer for a fiver. The coffee is great too!

I’m not sure if different people are running this, but the name sign above the awning has disappeared. The cafe is part of a bakers and is typical of the genre. It is clean and tidy and has the sort of simple menu that you might expect. We had a couple of bacon and egg rolls which were just perfect and very well filled with tasty thick-cut bacon, and a perfectly soft fried egg. With good value and good service it just hit the spot.

Popped in with a client for a quick breakfast, very tasty. Good value. Only grumble is the menu's are past their sell by date. Tatty and dirty. Would defo come back.

I needed a cuppa so I popped in and asked for tea and a Scotch pie. The tea was ok but the pie when it arrived was dreadful. The crust was brick hard and the meaty filling was dry. I think the pie had been around for a while and I was served it as I was identified as a visitor and unlikely to come back again. This is true. I will never go back.

Great traditional wee cafe..so few left in Scotland Friendly,caring staff who always ensure a warm welcome .Food is excellent and reasonably priced .Not to be missed if you are in the area !

The Waverly café is a great place for BREAKFAST and other meals.Take away food as well. The staff make you feel at home.This café is a must try,after you have had something you will keep going back...To-day was my forth visit ..Thank you helen and the staff...(JK)

I visited this place while travelling, not knowing what I’d find, stumbled across this cute and quirky idea. The girls working were always friendly and the boss is hilarious!

Great value for money clean and friendly staff great little cafe unusual to get that these days freshly cooked as you order.

Aw what can i say, i love this wee cafe, the staff are amazing, I use this cafe 4/5 times a week, hot rolls small/large breakfasts stovies macaroni to die for,, and u can get them all on take away, so have a wee look at the menu, there is something for everyone, kids and adults My husband even finds something to eat and that has to go for something as he is so fussy Keep up the great work and service

We tried to go in here for a coffee on a Saturday afternoon at 2.30 (Easter weekend). We hadn’t even pushed the door fully open when the woman behind the counter gruffly said “we’re closed!” As though we’d completely irritated her. Ok so the closed sign was on the door, but it was hard to spot among all the other signs on the door and they could’ve just be a bit more polite about it. It looked dirty in there anyway. Went to a lovely little place down the road instead.

Great little cafe with seating inside to enjoy a short stop off. 3 of us Popped here today all muddy and cold for a bite to eat while cycling from Haymarket to cupar via the coastal paths. Perfect halfway stop. Large breakfast £5 with a coffee. Lovely breakfast, great service with a smile. Big plate of stovies and a tea less than a fiver too. Thanks for looking after us, will definitely be back.

Had a fantastic breakfast here. They do other meals and I assume the standard would be the same. Value for money. I would have liked the plate to be warmer.

Desayuno escocés completo había pedido. No bollo cutres para empezar! Enlace bastante asqueroso y salchichas lorne. Haggis era en realidad bien. Yo realmente no volvería otra vez el lugar es un poco un cuchitril. Es una pena. Sería un lugar fantástico si hicieron el esfuerzo

typical little seaside cafe nice meals and good prices for whats on offer. had a light lunch with my young daughter and she enjoyed it as well.

Es yocul local y nos encantó. La mujer/server/cocinar era amable y una buena cocinera de orden. Tuve un huevo en un bollo que no es cómo se hace. Lo hizo y estaba delicioso. Sí no era la más limpia del mundo, pero tampoco lo es mi casa. Nos encantó.

Teníamos el desayuno escocés completo había pasado fin de semana. así es un poco engañoso ya que solo pudimos comer a media. La mitad fue recalentado en el microondas parecía demasiado malo que toque. La parte que yo podía comer no era para morirse.

The big breakfast is great value, and it hit the spot nicely while doing the coastal walk with my son.

Tenía un huevo doble y patatas fritas a la hora del almuerzo lugar no estaba lleno pero el personal era lo suficientemente amable ... lugar necesita una mano de pintura, pero está bien para lo que es ... la comida estaba bien y el precio es muy razonable

Sirve la mejor taza de café en la ciudad, caliente y todo es una buena relación calidad-precio. Hay una mesa fuera para fumadores.

Filthy on the outside, windows, frontage totally negleted, canopy torn and faded. Outside tables...well I've thrown out better. Nice touch is the staff who linger outside smoking their fags, then go inside and leave the dirty ashtrays on the tables!The food,well, I'm not even going to waste my time describing it....it is not that its basic snacks, it is just absolutely awful...seriously you couldnt give it away. Please if you are looking for cheap snacks especially if you have kids go into Scotmid next door and get a meal deal and take it onto the prommenade or further along is a newish sandwich/deli takeaway with great deals.What a shame this cafe is on a prime position right opposite the Links and access to the prommanade, it is nothing short of a blot on the landscape, cant believe there is still places like this open in Scotland.There is Potter Around Cafe a few doors down,but be careful if going with kids as itis pricey.

Dropped into tje waverly cafe for a spot of lunch and let's just say major regrets first of all the place stinks of grease if u run ur fingers down the tiled walls ull feel the grime the floor is grimy dirty and very worn the ceiling if full of condensation its all chipping away my partner ordered a simple breakfast roll and it came to the table without 1 of the items and when she went bk to cook the item a customer came in with her dog yes her dog !! She and the other lady who was preparing and cooking the food clapped and petted this dog and obliviously carried on cooking without washing their hands total mortified and to top it all off when we got out the hell hole our clothes stank of grease I would reccommend any1 who eats here to be aware of this as no joke all truth discusting and a formal complaint will be put forward to health and safety !!!!!
