This place has an amazing range of food and drinks options and the staff are very kind and considerate. Desserts are also amazing. Would Highly recommend if you can handle long wait times.

The food was Great . The staf was polite and helpful. The place was brigth which was good for my dad who is nearly blind. Good for kids. Will be back.

EXPENSIVE!!!! Side plate of chips £4 per serving!!! Limited menu. It was like a take away menu with limited choice. Great if you can eat or like fish

When things go well it's very good - plenty of seating outside in the nice weather and there will be plenty space inside when (if?) they get they Saddle Room finished. However, when it is busy things can go downhill. Staff are pleasant but could be better organised and there doesn't seem to be anyone in charge. As a result it can often run out of things including beer and glasses (be prepared to get served in a plastic container if you are sitting outside at busy times). Booking is essential at peak times and the kitchen closes quite early.

Went for afternoon tea as a treat. Extremely disappointed with the quality of the food. Bread was definitely not fresh, hard around the bottom, scones were not scones. They were tiny bullets great difficulty trying to get knife through them to cut them. Cakes were average more like tray bakes. The view? Well if you like to look at a flat roof covered with grass and seagulls then this is the place for you. Much was made about the view, however, it is certainly not spectacular. The lack of staff certainly didn’t help. Once served out teas & coffees we never saw them again. No offers of more tea/coffee. Won’t be returning, not impressed.

Stayed in the Primer Inn next door and had breakfast. We had a warm welcome, the staff were lovely and it was a relaxed atmosphere. The food was plentiful and cooked to perfection. A lovely way to start our Sunday morning.😀👍

We had a lovely dinner here. the food was very good and the staff were very friendly and chatty. It is a lovely restaurant and well furnished. They were very busy with a function but they did warn us at the beginning and the wait wasn't too bad.

Christmas dinner on Christmas Day was very disappointing and naturally expensive. The food was Wetherspoons quality tasted like it was bought in from catering company rather than freshly made. Young undertrained staff did their best.but had to be asked several times for service. Pity if that’s the quality served at weddings. I have had a bar lunch there which has been fine. As I live locally it’s sad to see how standards have slipped since the Costley days.

Lovely place with deals on each night for guests..Food was great, service was lovely and wanted to mention Harshit and his customer service. If your staying at the hotel highly recommended and Thursday nights steak night is a must to try.

We had another nice breakfast and the staff were friendly and chatty as usual, just a bit sad it will probably be our last 😢

Food was worst I’ve ever had. I had pesto chicken sandwich. It was an open sandwich on the smallest piece of bread. Bread was stale and chicken was dry. It came 10 minutes after everyone else’s in our group.

Family of five for New Years dinner.Couldn’t fault the service or the food. Portions were generous and price very reasonable for New Years

We had a lovely brunch here this morning. Everything was fresh and delish! The waitress was lovely and both her and the kitchen were super accommodating, making brunch with changes for my super fussy daughter! Wouldn't hesitate to recommend, and will definitely be back soon. We had CK breakfast, double breakfast roll, poached egg and avocado on sourdough toast and a wee breakfast, (with changes)
