Tenemos que viajar a Lochgoilhead al menos una vez al mes Salimos temprano de Dundee y viajamos a Calder’s para desayunar Excelente relación calidad-precio , excelente bien y el personal es fantástico Feliz Navidad, todo volverá en el nuevo año

Personal muy amable. Tuve un desayuno vegetariano escocés completo y era perfecto - sin pasar por alto, y era sabroso. ¡Y no hay salchichas Linda MacCartney a la vista! Gran café también. Mi marido tuvo un desayuno escocés completo y comentó que la carne era de buena calidad y todo sabroso. Nos quedamos muy impresionados y a un precio razonable también. Solo una cosa - el restaurante es un buen tamaño y sería bueno para una zona para ser dividido y ser dog friendly como tuvimos que dejar Dexter en el coche y era un poco frío! Pero en general - excelente.

Hemos venido aquí a almorzar ocasionalmente desde la época de la pandemia. En nuestra última visita - ayer - los cuatro pensamos que nuestras comidas eran geniales. Como de costumbre estaba muy ocupado, pero debido a que tienen tanto personal el nivel de servicio era su estándar habitual alto. Cada vez que hemos visitado ha sido el mismo gerente de turno. Ella nunca se queda quieta y trabaja a tope para asegurarse de que todo esté como debe estar.

Siempre un placer parar aquí para el almuerzo o café y pastel, una buena opción en el menú y excelente selección de pasteles, nuestra servidora Karen nos encontró la mesa perfecta y era más que servicial, que es una gran ventaja. Por supuesto que volveremos y recomendaremos a nuestros amigos. Gracias de nuevo.

Hoy he disfrutado de un delicioso almuerzo en Caulders, conocida por su cocina tradicional y su encantador ambiente. El lugar estaba bullicioso, y me senté rápidamente en una acogedora mesa de esquina. Pedí un café con leche, Caulders Burger y compartí un dulce después. La hamburguesa era perfecta, pero las patatas fritas estaban ligeramente frías. Le informé al gerente que pasaba. Ella se disculpó sinceramente y tuvo un plato fresco preparado inmediatamente, ofreciendo un postre de cortesía también. La comida de reemplazo fue perfecta, y la decadente tarta de fresa que Babs trajo como disculpa fue deliciosa. Lo que podría haber sido un problema menor se convirtió en un testamento a Caulders servicio excepcional. La atención de Bab y su rápida resolución aseguraron que mi experiencia fuera memorable. Recomiendo encarecidamente Caulders por su deliciosa comida y fantástico servicio al cliente. P.D. Nunca tuve la oportunidad de tomar fotos, no pasó mucho tiempo!

I had attended over the christmas period and had a great experience! Knowing how well catering the staff was I decided I would be able to take my aunt who has a walking mobility issues and can be a bit of a problem elsewhere. As soon as we got to the door the manageress made sure we were seated right away and left no time for my aunt to be waiting uncomfortably (she appreciated this majorly). Again, food was outstanding and i feel the need to bring all my family at this point! Service was really quick and was a nice period of time between the starters and mains. We were so well looked after by the front of house staff and can’t thank the team enough. Highly recommend the club sandwich paired with the minestrone soup!! see you all again soon.

The quality of food is very good and I highly recommend it. If only the quality of service could match it. We waited fifteen minutes before our main course order was taken. It arrived sometime later. We then waited quite a while for a staff member to clear the table and take our dessert order. Fed up with waiting I managed to catch the eye of a passing waitress. She informed me she couldn’t take my order as she didn’t have an iPad. She said she would speak to another member of staff. After waiting for another length of time I managed to get the attention of a passing member of staff equipped with said iPad. She took our order but only cleared half of our dishes. The food portions are generous and we hadn’t eaten all the onion rings. The waitress said she’d come back straight away with a box for us to take them home. She never came back. 5 minutes later another staff member appeared and asked if we wanted to place an order. I explained we’d already been attended to. He also left the other half of the uncleared dishes on the table. After a further delay our dessert course arrived, or rather part of it did. I explained that a desert was missing as were the drinks. Before we got a chance to ask him to clear the rest of the plates, he was gone. When he can back with the rest of the order we had to ask him to clear the table and for the box to put the left over onions rings in. He never reappeared. Same problem with the bill. I had to try and catch the attention of yet another staff member. My wife had to go and fetch the box herself. We only had two courses yet we were in the restaurant for an hour and forty five minutes. This restaurant is always busy and it’s necessary to book ahead. I’ve been disappointed in the past with the unavailability of tables. If the staff got their act together they could accommodate more customers. There’s so much wasted dwell time

We had to be carefull when slowing and leaving the busy road. Plenty of parking. The selection of gifts is very good. A busy and comfortable dining area with quick service and quicker delivery of the food. Good portions and well presented. The Menu had a good range and even mince and tatties! Our waitress was a bit absent minded but we eventually were able to pay. A very good range of plants and other gardening related items.

Excellent food and lovely staff Visited this morning for breakfast 2 for £18 absolutely excellent value and served so quick Have visited previously and also had excellent service and staff 1st class a customer serve well done

Been to Caulders before and it’s generally ok, however, the latest visit was poor. Looking forward to a plate of porridge with strawberries and honey but was presented with a child’s portion of porridge with none of the additions on the menu. We highlighted it and were given honey, no berries or apologies. The person manning the toaster was also having an ‘off day’ churning out bread that looked like it had been left out in the sun. Big hint, toast needs to be hot, crispy and have the hue of waxed teak. This was clearly an issue at other tables and folk were looking for some evidence of the bread having even been in the same room as a toaster. One last thing, most folk like coffee to taste like coffee not a warm, tasteless milky drink. Not saying we won’t be back but Caulders is in the last chance saloon.

was in today not impressed with the amount of dogs shocking I thought I was in a dog kennel. went in for a coffee. nice place food and drinks over priced , went to pay and I spoke to the manager never asked how it went I said the coffee is over priced and I said its cheaper in costa the reply was go there then ,cheeky not interested attitude manager in her dreams. .poor. response she should have said 12 pounds gets you 24 coffee a year I would have joined , not a nice manager

Well stocked garden centre and very nice restaurant with a good selection of dishes and homebaking for any time of day. Worth a visit if you are in the area.
