Unsure if this thread has been continued for the Greggs ‘sit-in’ now situated near Quins, but i’ll write a post nonetheless. Very satisfied with the goods and service as always - even in tougher times the business still sells items at a reasonable price (maybe not as cheap as 2013 haha)! Special mention for the Latte - for a budget Coffee I always rate them highly. This occasion was no different.

Always enjoy my visit here. Prefer here to cafes in Tesco or Asia. Bright, clean, good food and cheerful service. Prices very reasonable.

Lovley food! Good service Cheap food but good. Juices are a bit expensive but positioned next to a bargain shop so we tend to buy lunch there and juice next door which works well

Whichever Gregg's you visit you can always guarantee hot and tasty food to go! The steak and blue cheese pies are fabulous!!! Well priced healthier choices like salads and baguettes are plentiful and the soup was lovely!! Thai chicken!

This greggs is unfortunately not the best in the brand, as they frequently don't have steak bakes or chicken bakes available when we go there. Even at lunch time there is often little thought into having fresh product available it seems. Staff are hit and miss, sometimes wonderfully friendly, other times looking and behaving as though they really can't be asked. We've been there many times, however we are becoming despondent with the lack of continuity.

Good place to pick up some snacks for the road. Got a couple of filled baguettes and sausage rolls on the meal deal with orange. On a par with other shops. Staff were fine. Good value.

This is okay to get take away food or snacks - but Dalgetty's in Bank Street or ' Eat At Dave's ' in Channel Street are much better , and you can order made-to-order food there as well ( and the sweets in Dalgettys are better ) Gregg's is okay if you are on a Budget , and reliable

Gregg's is mainly a takeaway shop but has friendly and attentive staff, a good range of hot and cold dishes, sandwiches and snacks, and does scrummy breakfast rolls with or without hot drinks as part of their meal deal package!

Not bad, quite a limited selection though. Staff are so so, not the friendliest I've visited but not the unfriendliest either. Their hot chocolate is nice. It does get busy during lunch times when the local school kids all pile in.

Greggs sausage rolls and pasties are the best in the business... The are warm, very tasty, filling, appetizing, good value for money, they have a unique taste all of their own... The premises are always, inviting, warm and friendly... You are definitely converted to their food after your first bite... 110% Guaranteed and Highly Recommended... Every time I visit Gala from Northern Ireland, I always make a point of going to Greggs for something to eat, and I never regret it... I would like to wish the company Good Luck for the future, and may their business go from strength to strength as the years progress...

As always, this Gregs produces food at a high standard, but I've always found the range of items for sale limited in comparison with other stores.

Typical gregs, by the way not happy that they don't sell macaroni pies anymore! Busy place at lunch time for school kids so avoid between 1320-1400

We had fish n chips in the car then used Greg's for hot drink. Seemed very busy. Fish n chips were good but nice to get a hot drink. Noticed the young chap in Greg's assisting this elderly chap out to his scooter. Not too busy to assist the customers!!

Had a great stay here, start of May 2025, for a mountain biking weekend. Location and setup are perfect for mountain biking / outdoor activities. Staff were friendly, accommodating and engaging. Food was lovely! There are a few other nice food locations local too, so you won't be bored with only one option to eat - which you sometimes get in small villages. My only gripe was the walls seem quite thin, so I could hear the guests next door late at night after they came home drunk which woke me up. I would stay again!

This hotel is awful. It looks nothing like the website pictures. The whole place is rundown and filthy. On our first morning the waiter said there was a mix up with the food order and he thought he had some rice krispies somewhere but we're still waiting for them to arrive. There was then a greasy cooked breakfast plonked on a plate. When new residents arrived they were given wet towels for their room and the owner was very intimidating when they complained. Next morning at breakfast they were given the same excuse as us about the lack of breakfast foodstuffs. Don't know how this place is still open. Avoid at all costs.

Sadly now seem to be closed. Unfortunately the Main Street of Jedburgh offers nothing in the way of dog friendly cafes... the only town in our trip across central Scotland to have that issue.
