Great location, but you need the weather to go with it, and the cream teas are good enough to back for.

What a find. The food here is fresh tasting, seasoned well cooked from scratch and really appealed to my palate. This place is slightly set back from the road and was a little difficult to find. A big sign outside would benefit it as the current signage is not quite positioned to see it as you drive. Starter for me was Tolleshunt Knights fresh mushrooms on toast. Before the starter was served we were given complimentary small potato with bacon and maple syrup- delicious ! Main course was salmon and green beans-seasoned excellently and was served hot and fresh Desert was sticky toffee pudding- light & fluffy sponge, very good Our waitress was Abby who was very polite, friendly and professional Thank you Chef and Abby . After booking a specific table, 2 weeks in advance for Father’s Day lunch. We were shown to the worst table by the coffee machine and till. It transpired that another family had sat in our originally table and their name was on the one by the till. The staff tried to make out there had been a mix up etc, which was rubbish. It was extremely disappointing as instead of hearing lovely Lynne singing , I could only hear the coffee machine and till in my ear. Clearly there is no point trying to book a specific table well in advance, as the staff are incompetent at managing the correct bookings. Needless to say we will not be rushing back which is a great shame as we have enjoyed dining there previously and my father used to be a regular.

Best mocha in Nottingham! Worth a trip from Derby, because we don’t got good mocha there.

Although the menu was limited due to an exceptionally busy weekend the food was delicious and the staff were amazing and attentive. Also a great atmosphere with live music .

I haven't been here in a while, as I've never been happy with my food before but today what I ordered was wonderful. I had a chicken club sandwich, which was delicious and very filling and my chips were lovely.. My ma had a chilli but she thought it was just average though. The staff were cheerful and helpful. I've given a rating of four (which is the average between my ma and I).

Good large space with plenty of room at the bar. PLenty of chpice on the keg taps. Went here as part of Worcester Music Festival (they were acting as one of the venues) so visited several times over the weekend. Good atmosphere.

We used to visit this cafe on a very regular basis, but due to difficult family circumstances, this was our first opportunity to return in 9 months. We were welcomed with open arms by the owner (Karen) and by the waitresses (Yvonne, Pip and Maisie), who all said how much they'd missed us, and how lovely it was to see us again. Pip and Yvonne both remembered our usual order (particularly impressive, as I have a restricted diet and have to slightly alter a dish on the menu). The food is top-quality, freshly prepared, and absolutely delicious. In these days where the impersonal machine is king, it is lovely to visit an establishment where you receive top-notch personal service, and where you are made to feel like a friend rather than merely a customer. I truly cannot recommend Williams & Thomas highly enough - it is the best tearoom in Kent.

This is a traditional, independantly owned cafe which was welcoming and unpretentious. The menu was mainly fried food but my husband had a breakfast and my friend and I had a greek burger. It was all piping hot, good quality ingredients and a thoroughly enjoyable occasion. Reasonably priced and would ceratinly go again.

Our first visit here and it won’t be the last. The food was delicious, we had the steak and house rose, and asked for an additional side salad. It was lovely. The staff were very friendly and professional. Well done The Bosk.

Great to pop in food was excellent

We were looking for a light lunch as we intended to eat a main meal in the evening. Unusually we took the leap and climbed two flights of stairs to the delightful cafe on 2 nd floor overlooking the Parade The staff were super friendly and made us feel very welcome. Two of the party had a variety of Ploughmans lunch the cheese was ample and the ham was thick gammon ham. I ate a smoked mackerel salad delicious. The fourth had a prawn sandwich with a glass of wine. Highly recommend for all.
