Joanne's Pantry in King's Lynn and West Norfolk

Not a great experience unfortunately . Ordered flat white which came as a regular coffee .. asked for poached eggs and got fried eggs . Most of the food was covered in oil and the sausage was pretty much burnt to a crisp. Beans were also cold. Please upgrade to proper butter as the margarine didn’t even melt into the toast. I left most of mine but husband ate his because he was hungry. Had to get to and find our own cutlery and condiments ! Wasn’t particularly cheap either at £10 a breakfast x Sorry for the review but hopefully you will see it as constructive criticism :) Lady serving was lovely but I think she was on her own and probably overwhelmed x

A lovely café which serves a great selection of food and cakes. No Loud music blaring in the background so you can enjoy your conversation without shouting. Easy to park. The quality of the food was excellent and service attentive without being intrusive. Great pictures on the wall. It was very busy when I visited and lots of people were having takeaways too. I would recommend this café to everyone. They prefer cash to card. I enjoyed the visit and company so much that I forgot to take photos of the food!!

Frequent this place whenever I'm working in the area, 10/10 would recommend. Very friendly staff and customers, great food and great value for money.

Great location and smells amazing here! Like a proper English breakfast Cafe with good Coffee. Not far off the main road.

Lovely staff, local atmosphere, sandwiches can by a little thrown together but the hot food and cake offerings are fab.

Great breakfast, one little thing is I like a different type of sausage however good portion and clean

Stopped here on the way to Wisbech. Ordered latte and slice of fruit cake. Coffee was luke warm, cake was very nice.

Lovely Cafe,friendly staff and atmosphere, reasonably priced and a good set of locals who will keep you laughing. Highly recommended 👌.

Great place to meet people , lovely people down to earth delicious food. It could be an updated Last of the summer wine but could be called Joanne's Pantry. We go weekly very nice place and a decent restaurant and the only one in Upwell.

Great breakfast menu, good local produce cooked to order. Friendly staff.

The greeting and service here was so warm. I only had coffee and coconut and jam cake but I really enjoyed it. The view of the river is an added bonus.

Joanne provided outside catering at our afternoon tea party. Everyone who attended commented on how good the food was and how pleasant the service was the was provided for our Guests.

Fresh food at reasonable prices made to order, the staff were patient and friendly. Only open till 2pm they serve breakfast and cold lunch items, along with a selection of home made cakes.

Loved it best place in the village ideally located on the A1101. Joe and the team are very friendly. Will definitely be going back. Next time i go back i will get a few pictures for you lot.

Upwell is somewhere I would normally just pass through, almost without noticing. But, if I have time to spare, this is a fine establishment at which to have a coffee and cake before setting about getting on with the day. Nothing pretentious about it, just a warm and friendly cafe serving everything you might expect a small establishment of this type to provide, including a proper mug of coffee for much less money than a fancy coffee shop. The two very nice ladies behind the counter make all the difference, providing a service to the locals and travellers alike. Thank you for your hospitality.
