Went for a Sunday evening dinner with the wife. we have been 2 or 3 times previously over the years and it has always been good. This time was no exception. I had the mixed roast (pork and beef) - tasty and very tender with crispy roast potatoes, a good portion of fresh vegetables and a decent cauliflower cheese, with extra gravy on the side. All very good. My wife had the pork belly BBQ Melt special with hand cut chips which was also very tasty. Chips with a crispy, glassy exterior and fluffy middle. All very good. Desserts were a lemon bakewell tart for me, and a white chocolate cup with raspberries for my wife. Both were very good - the bakewell sponge was very light and with a tangy lemon curd layer and nice crispy pastry. Service was very friendly and efficient throughout. Only lost a point as my alcohol-free cider wasn't chilled or served with ice. Otherwise really good and we'll definitely be back and would recommend. This is a great homestyle cooking restaurant - if you want fancy-pants stuff you'll need to go elsewhere but for good wholesome plates of food, decent portion sizes and good value then you need look no further than Grants.

Came here for the first time for dinner with my partner as our first child free evening ever. The food was delicious and the staff were fantastic! Recommend us their favourite items, I had the patè for starter as recommended by our fantastic waiter and that was certainly delicious! My partner had soup of the day for started and the portions were perfect for a starter. We moved on to mains, I chose the chicken in a creamy sauce and that was absolutely amazing, so much flavour and fantastic portion size! My partner had the lasagne and that was a very decent size portion too, we will certainly be returning!

Our first visit and hopefully one of many. We have never known a restaraunt with such an aim to please the customer. Anna and Kim are lovely. They are even very happy to adapt what is on their menu to suit individual tastes. ie even leave an ingredient out of a sauce for you. Their meals can be cooked in smaller portions if wished hence leaving room for a delicious sweet. Everything about the place feels cosy, and the customers are made to feel that they matter. Not much wonder they have been there for 24 years. Absolutely First Class. Give it a try you will not be disappointed.

We took friends out for a meal as a thank you for staying with them for a few days. Grants restaurant is absolutely amazing, the decor, and atmosphere, is very pleasing relaxing. The staff are so helpful and accommodating, for all of us, particularly myself as i have a very small appetite..believe me the portions are very large, but the food is beautifully cooked and absolutely scrumptious, so good we went back the following day for Sunday lunch, and was very lucky to get a booking as they are so busy and booked up. The cost of the meal I believe are very good reasonably priced. Thank you to all the staff for for a lovely time out.

We are local to King’s Lynn and have been going to Grants for years. For a special occasion, or just as a midweek treat we have never been disappointed. The food is always amazing. Home cooked, great portions, clean and hot, reasonable prices. The restaurant is cozy and very welcoming. Staff make you feel comfortable, are friendly and eager to help you have the best experience. They can adjust the menu for dietary requirements ie gluten free. Give Grants a try.

Recommend Grants as we are still new to the area . All food was made in-house and was lovely . I certainly will be going back . Staff were very pleasant too

Came across this quaint little restaurant just looking through Google reviews which already had a high star rating. We decided to try it. It most definitely didn't disappoint. Absolutely amazing food and they also had a menu for gluten free. Food came out steaming hot. Very good portion size and really nice to find somewhere that does homemade too. Staff were all very friendly. Highly recommend anyone to try.

What a lovely restaurant, found this by looking for places to eat on google, the pictures looked amazing so thought we’d give it a try and were not disappointed! The food was excellent 👌 real home cooked goodness, proper portion sizes, usually my husband and I come away somewhat disappointed from places we go to eat recently but grants was definitely not one of these. Even though we were the only people in there at the time it was really lovely 😊 will certainly be going back to try more things on the menu!!

Brought a different group of WI ladies/friends in this time and the feedback from those that hadn't been in before was great. loved the fact that you could have smaller portions if you liked and it was piping hot and reasonably priced. the only thing we forgot was to take pictures.

Excellent food and very reasonable prices. Pleasant ambience. Recommend the scampi which came with a lovely side salad, excellent chips and tartare sauce. Bread and butter pudding yummy. I would certainly recommend it. Booking necessary.

We had our annual family Christmas lunch at Grants 18 of us absolutely amazing couldn’t fault it in any way. I had tomato soup with cheesy croutons beautiful flavour, followed by roast beef perfectly cooked, bowls of veg sprouts, green beans carrots and cauliflower cheese all cooked to perfection excellent portion of beef. Desert I had apple crumble and custard. All in all a lovely lunch served by extremely pleasant and helpful people. Well done Grants thank you for a great experience that’s hard to find these days.

From the moment you walk in Grants you are warmly welcomed by the owners and the staff. They are exceptional. Food is all home cooked and amazing and lots to choose from. Big portions. Nothing is too much trouble for anyone. Look forward to every visit .

Single father of of a 3 and 6 year old and booked here last minute on Halloween night and was very well catered for by the staff and the food was fantastic! All very traditional dishes that went down well after walking around for two hour trick or treating. Recommended if you love good harty traditional food. Will definitely be back 😊

Personal service by two sisters who own the restaurant and prepare the food. But you need to be hungry, the meals are large and you won't want to leave any.

This restaurant was recommended to us by our host B & B in Kings Lynn. Situated in slightly off centre street, the restaurant does not look exiting from the street. Do not be fooled. From the start the staff were very good and the food was excellent. A wide ranging menu with a slant toward traditional British fayre. Our roast beef was beautifully cooked together with a wide variety of vegetables and quantities of everything large. Deserts were similarly good. All at very reasonable prices. We enjoyed the meal so much we returned the next evening. (Suggest you book as it is understandably popular).

Wow. 9 of us visited and we all thoroughly enjoyed everything. We are not local and 3 are vegan so Mum had been in contact several times sorting things out with Kim. We were warmly greeted and Kim introduced herself to Mum and explained all our choices for the day. Service was excellent and all the staff are so friendly. The combi roast was absolutely delicious, the steak pie was declared one of the best as were the nut roasts. In short, we all enjoyed our starters, mains and desserts - had not planned to have 3 courses but it was so good we just had to try it all 😃. The restaurant was spotless too. We will definitely visit when next in Norfolk.

A charming restaurant with very friendly staff. It serves - among other goodies - great roast meals with loads of tender meat, an array of freshly cooked vegetables, gravy and Yorkshires. All piping hot. Lovely puddings, including cheesecake. Tucked away in the appropriately named Norfolk Street, this is a real gem of a place.

Home cooked filling food. Big portions. The restaurant is not in the main part of Kings Lynn, very close to Lidl so you wouldn’t probably stumble across it but it seems very popular. The staff are very accommodating and happy to change parts of the meal without a problem which shows that everything is freshly cooked. Very reasonable prices. The decor and furniture are quite old fashioned but this shouldn’t deter you from trying the food.

First visit today all I can say is what a first class place from start to finish, staff friendly and attentive, food good sized portions, hot, fresh and very well cooked, the price was very reasonable as well. 100% will return and I would recommend Grants to anybody and everybody.
