The Terrace in King's Lynn and West Norfolk

Visited here with my wife. Could only have a black coffee as I was on my way to hospital. Coffee was excellent and great value. (I have no doubt the food will be good too). The guy who runs it is really friendly. Will definitely come again when I can eat something!

Went to a tapas event food was amazing tempura olives to start and pork as main absolutely 1st class. A guitarist playing authentic Spanish music throughout…delightful!

Met friends at the Terrace for Sunday lunch. We were greeted by friendly staff who were also very efficient, nothing was too much trouble. We all had roast dinners and it was all delicious. Thank you. I would highly recommend and will visit on any return to Hunstanton.

This was yet another return visit for us to The Terrace as we really enjoy their Tapas evenings. Visitors will find a delicious selection of dishes available at sensible prices and sometimes, if you time it right you might even catch a sunset through the trees on the Spinney, however if you are wondering why there are no customers in my photo that's because we arrived before opening time to guarantee a preferred table. Enjoy!

Dog friendly. Vegan and Gluten. Enjoyed a yummy vegan cheese and beans hot lunch. They have a menu of treats for dogs. Staff were amazing, friendly.

Superb Sunday lunch, well cooked, absolutely delicious. Lovely little place and such caring friendly staff. We often go for a Fry-up Friday breakfast which again is first class, as is their coffee and cake offer. People just don’t know what they’re missing! Thoroughly recommended.

A perfect find for vegans. We went to tapas night and there was plenty of vegan options as well as vegan desserts ……and then went back the following day for breakfast. Any meat eater would be happy with the vegan sausages in all honesty and I don’t think they’d even know they were vegan! Delicious and a great little find for us.

Just got back from tapas Thursday and the Terrace Restaurant excellent food an excellent service from a very friendly waiter most of the menu is gluten free which is very good no alcohol licence but bring your own for only three pound ahead corkage turn highly recommend

Nice little tapas cafe, Spanish music, dog friendly and nice atmosphere. Not licenced so bring your own wine £3.00 per person corkage. Food average from freezer to fryer but ok will go again..

This is a hidden gem. Pretty much all the menu can be made gluten free (a small surcharge applies; think the highest was £1.95). The food is really reasonable, especially the quality and freshness of the ingredients. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Will be visiting again when back in Hunstanton.

I ordered a Cheese Plate which to me was a Ploughman's lunch. Very nice with three different cheeses. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. You can sit on the terrace or inside.

Great little restaurant in Hunstanton. The staff are really helpful, welcoming and friendly. My granddaughter dropped her waffle on the floor and the staff were soon over to us to see the what the problem was. They brought another waffle out for her! Very refreshing to see service as good as this. I highly recommend you give this little gem a try.

Everyone here is so sweet and it’s an amazing environment. In my opinion I think it’s a good place to bring family and friends to chill and have fun and the food is excellent!

Extremely busy so service was a bit slow but that didn't bother us. The food was most definitely worth the wait. So reasonably priced and being able to take your own booze makes it so much cheaper. Had a lady singing so fab atmosphere. Would highly recommend booking a table because so many people were turned away because they hadn't.

Cracking full breakfast on a Sunday morning!

Lovely evening at this nice little eatery in Hunstanton. Friendly service and super tasty tapas. What’s not to like! Can recommend the sharing desert..it’s a yum fest! PS: It’s not licensed, so bring your own wine. Only £3 corkage….hardly breaking the bank on that one.

Excellent food, great atmosphere and excellent service what more could you want

Amazing find - went for a breakfast after a hen do and food was lovely. Joe and Amy were star members of staff who were attentive, kind and very welcoming. My partner had a vegan breakfast and it was one of the best breakfasts they have had, and lovely to see a wide variety of vegan options in a town full of fish, burgers and ice cream. Would definitely recommend!

We visited on a Wednesday evening for the tapas menu. The place itself is pleasant, the staff are lovely and the food was good. We had ciabatta with olive oil and balsamic, hummus with flatbread, meatballs and prawns in chilli sauce. The restaurant does not have an alcohol licence so we took our own drinks. We found we had to nag a bit to get implements to open them, and glasses to put them in. Recommended.

This is a lovely restaurant, spotlessly clean , great food at affordable prices and staff very friendly. we stumbled on this little gem after staying overnight locally and in need of breakfast. This was a a great find on a sunday morning, we were welcomed by a lovely lady, nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend we will be back

Mixed bag, location is great, nice to sit on the terrace. Had a sausage sandwich, asked for granary, got white. The sausages were tasteless. May try again

Pleasantly surprised by this great little place. We were recently in Hunstanton for the weekend and looking for a nice restaurant that also catered for children (7 & 10). The tapas was amazing and the kids were happy with their choices. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

Great food, staff lovely, variety of tapas. It is a bring your own alcohol which was fine with us. We had tempura prawns, greek salad, beautiful selection of breads, crispy cauliflower. Prawns in garlic butter. It is a small restaurant, but when weather is fine you you can sit outside on terrace.

When at the seaside you have to get fish & chips, which I did also ordered mushy peas unfortunately these did not get to the table, apparently they forgot about them even after I reminded them. Apart from that experience everything was great

Food was amazing! My parents shared the seafood platter (Saturday special) and appreciated the variety and locally sourced produce. I had a gluten free sandwich and staff were very knowledgeable about allergens 😊 Would 100% recommend and attend again when in Hunstanton Able to sit outside on the terrace and had a great view of Hunstanton beach and town. We enjoyed the environment. I am not sure tapa is good value. Because we go to Macdonald after meal. Portion is very small and price what you pay value what you got. Won't recommend if you're hungry.

We booked a table for 6 on Friday evening on the outside terrace having just arrived in the town for the weekend. The food and service were excellent. The restaurant doesn’t have an alcohol licence which they let us know when we booked and we brought our own wine and beer. There is a £3.50 corkage charge per person but with Sainsbury’s being 5 mins walk away this was not a problem. Great tapas with plenty of seafood options and I would recommend. Unfortunately I forgot to take any photos.

Had the most amazing tapas meal. Food was outstanding with a great selection of tapas. The portions were of a great size. Love that you could take your own drink, keeps cost down and means more tapas!!! Definitely worth the money. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Victoria the owner was lovely and she has done a fantastic job.

1st time we have used this cafe. Lovely atmosphere with friendly staff. Lovely cosy cafe with lovely decor & nice and clean. We had breakfast which was cooked lovely and reasonable price for two people. Look forward to using this cafe on our next visit

Really good cafe, we went for a drink and it came really quickly the staff were really kind :) the cafe was really warm and relaxing inside definitely a 5 star review. We will definitely come back here again

Visited for first time on a Thai tapas night,very welcoming reception,cozy and very clean and tidy.its a take your own alcohol venue with a minimal corkage charge which is good.Starter platter was very good followed by a choice of main courses which they kindly brought us a small sample of as wasn't sure what to order. All finished off with a lovely sweet. Staff very friendly and attentive. Well worth a visit.

Had Christmas lunch at The Terrace, great time, excellent service, really enjoyed it...

My mother and I came for lunch, and we both had the vegetarian roast dinner. The food was excellent, the service excellent and there was live music being played which was excellent too. The staff were attentive and friendly, and our food came quickly and was all delicious - the vegetarian pastry parcels were tasty and had great flavour, the vegetables were generously portioned and all cooked well, and the cauliflower cheese was really superb. We also had gravy which we both had topped up as it was so good. The live music was a lovely bonus to the atmosphere. It’s a small room, but it’s cosy and comfortable and very friendly. It felt a shame that there weren’t more customers because this was a gem of a find, and I hope they get support from the locals. Our host took the time to talk to us and we were interested to hear about their tapas menu, which we will be back to try! All in all, a great experience with lovely food.

We regularly come to the terrace for breakfast and Sunday lunch. We came to sample the new Sunday platter which contains 3 meats, various vegetables and cauliflower cheese. It was the most delicious Sunday lunch we have ever had, it cannot be beaten it was exceptional. The staff and atmosphere was so welcoming we can’t go anywhere else for Sunday Lunch now. Booked a table for tapas night and wasn't disappointed. The food and service was first class. Take your own wine and pay the corkage fee.

We absolutely loved the food it was fantastic, they supply blankets and even the dog bed which was a lovely thought , our waitress that juggles jobs around her children was absolutely a diamond , friendly warm and welcoming bent over backwards so we went twice for tapas and breakfast, jamming with Joe was excellent it made our holiday can't wait to come again I love the bread selection even got my friend trying new things . So once again thank you terrace restaurant your fantastic . 😊

Me and my fiance stayed in Hunstanton for the weekend and had breakfast here Saturday and Sunday morning it was so good. The food is amazing the staff are lovely and friendly and the atmosphere is very chilled. Would highly recommend 👌

Friendly staff, yummy food and chilled atmosphere. We ate breakfast twice over our stay in Hunstanton and were not disappointed on either occasion. Coffee was lovely and the eggs perfect.

We managed to ge a table outside on a beautiful warm evening with the two dogs , this was my friends first time of ever having tapas , she was quite surprised to liking olive oil and balsamic vinegar with the dipping bread plate which I might add was absolutely delightful . We add further dishes to company the bread and she thoroughly enjoyed them all I must say the food was outstanding and of excellent quality and presented beautifully. We carried on after the main course to have a wonderful presented dessert course which was the same quality of the rest of the food. We enjoyed ourselves that much we had breakfast the next day there which was the same quality and we also booked a table for the Saturday night for another go at the tapas. The entertainment we got on Thursday night was absolutely brilliant and we really enjoyed it the dogs were greeted by some lovely dog beds as well to lie on why we had our food which was another little nice touch overall I can't wait to go back again hopefully it will be in December when we are back I can highly recommend this place to anyone that enjoys somewhere different that they've not been before .

The service was good and the food was very nice. What made it extra special was the waitress set up the dessert so we had 3 of everything. The fact that the restaurant doesn’t have a licence isn’t a problem however the charge for corkage is expensive.

Walked in for breakfast, and the staff were at the back, said " morning" for the female staff member to snap back... take a seat. Without looking up or anything. Went took a seat and she came out with menus, placed them on the table and said . Just no mushroom Benedict today. Without looking at us or stopping. Opted to go to Georgie's cafe across the road to have an amazing breakfast with lovely service

It was Sunday. We wanted Sunday lunch. The waitress said everyone asks for a roast. No roast available until October. This is NOT rocket science!!!’

My friend took me for a meal at the terrace and it was such poor quality. We had a cheese ploughmans it was dismissal and not worth the money. We are not returning here again.

Awful service incredibly snappy woman greeted us and told us that we had to wait. we walked out as I will not give my money to someone so rude.

I would like to give a review of the breakfasts but I can't! We waited nearly 20 mins and our order still hadn't been taken. I underatood from another table that there was only 1 chef on, but this shouldn't have prevented our order from at least being taken. At no point did we receive an apology for the wait, so we just left. By reading the other review re. breakfast, sound like we had a lucky escape! The 2 stars is because the setting was nice.

Found this little gem .we had several tapas dishes of which every single one was served hot and fresh .the staff were brilliant . We will definitely be back. Thankyou

Discovered this great little restaurant during a recent break in Hunstanton. Breakfasted there on the three mornings of our stay and couldn’t fault anything. Excellent local produce, generous portions, friendly, efficient service and very reasonably priced. A genuine find and well worth searching out.

Had a lovely evening on Wednesday, sat outside on the terrace and has a selection of tapas including the chilli and garlic prawns and duck Bon bons- delicious we also had the sharing bread board with was a delicious selection of warm bread with dips and oils. You take your own wine but they provide glasses and ice - Will definitely return

Had the cheese ploughman’s this was extremely disappointing, ploughman’s should consist of crusty bread a chunk of cheddar pickle apples and chutney , the terrace served one slice of white supermarket bread cut in half and Brie, blue and very dry cheddar. Was so dissapointing. Will never return.

Not our first visit, that was a couple of years ago. This time we arrived around 11:30 along with our Cocker Spaniel to be advised we could sit inside at selected tables. Once settled we ordered and received a nice coffee each. The staff were happy to then offer us their lunch menu from which we each selected a toastie. The dishes were well presented, and the ham in my cheese & ham was nice and thick, clearly cut off the bone whilst the cheese had plenty of flavour. Although I'm a bit of a salad dodger I could tell it was lovely and fresh (my wife ate hers). The service was very friendly and efficient. The establishment was lovely and clean too.

Myself, my mum, dad and grandad attended The Terrace on Wednesday for lunch whilst on holiday and had a lovely service. The staff, particularly Becky, Hope, Matt and Vicky were helpful and anything we asked for wasn’t too much. All of our food was delicious and they had a varied vegan selection. In particular the vegan board, was delicious and would suggest anyone to try it , I would visit again if ever in the area. Couldn’t recommend enough

The tapas were mainly good. However, the duck bon bons tasted bitter and burnt and literally were black on the outside. When highlighted to the waitress after 1 bite that they were burnt and really didn't taste good, she just said "yes alot of people say that ,but thats how they come " with no apology and didnt offer to deal with the situation at all, just took the plate away which was still basically full and we were still charged for it.

It’s Tapas night - a fab choice if you ever come to Hunstanton Mutley came too and approved!!👍👍🐾 We had not booked and took a gamble. They had some tables outside and we were offered and took a chance on the rain - Top tip this is a BYO place but there are a couple of shops and a supermarket close by to get your beverages of choice!!🥂🍾🍻 ( corkage is charged ) We we were assured if it rained they would put the canopy up or try and squeeze us inside and that they did. Thankfully it held off until we had nearly finished The place is tucked away off a small green with good outdoor space and a great vibe with its look and welcome Great friendly service and tapas completed a lovely relaxing night The food we had was lovely and of note especially was the chorizo and scallops cooked to perfection and the simple but delicious caprese salad. We chose six tapas dishes which was a perfectly sized supper They also do breakfasts, lunch and there is music on a Saturday night All in all a great find and highly reccomended👍

We tried The Terrace for breakfast and I have to be honest we wouldn't return again. When we ordered 3 x Noahs breakfasts, we asked if one could have toast instead of fried bread, and was told no because the waitress wouldn't dare ask the kitchen! I could understand if they were busy but it wasn't. When the breakfasts arrived the fried bread had been deep fried and for far too long and was just a brick of fat, the sausages were a strange texture and not nice, the bacon tasted nice but was very fatty, fine if the fat was crispy but it wasn't. The sauces provided were cheap and runny. Overall did not rate the breakfast, felt it was expensive for what it was.

One of those places that always delivers what they say they will. An excellent fish platter with a crab and chicken piri piri. Lovely.

Good location. The facilities were good , clean and comfortable. The food , when it finally arrived was excellent...really let down by the slow service. Couple of suggestions:- If clients are made to wait anything longer then 25 mins for food then offer a complimentary coffee or tea. Make clients aware that if sitting outside and it's cold that you have blankets for use? Invest in x8 air fryers ? You could have x8 full English breakfasts cooking at once and quickly? The young person doing the clearing up needs a tray ... so they can pick lots of stuff up at once and always having something going in both directions ? The clearer asked if we'd finished so she could tidy up even before we had received our breakfast? Putting an "order no." Spoon etc on the table would tell everyone they are still waiting? Overall the food was excellent, quite pricey. The WC facilities were nice , modern and clean and the presentation/ final touches were also good ... the delay of the food really let down the experience.
