Great pub lunch with my family and two dogs. Really nice food. Huge portion of gammon egg and chips. My son brought home the leftovers for tea. Managed to leave my hat behind and the lovely landlady ran after us into the car park to return it. Such a lovely thing to do. What amazing service. Well done.

Worse fish and chips i have ever had,.Got the small portion ,the fish was nearly non existent, the batter was dry. I have to say we left most of it , will definitely not be returning.

The best lasagna I’ve ever had. Portion size amazing and combined with the side of chips coleslaw and salad it was perfection. My partner enjoyed his gammon and chips. Sat by the beautiful fire and the service was 10/10. Would absolutely return and recommend to anyone.

Freindly pub with excellent home made food ,steak pie ,chips and fresh vegetables was gorgeous at a reasonable price would highly recommend and will definitely go again

Very impressed with our cod and chips. The batter was light and crispy and the chips were well-cooked and not stodgy.

After the lady had finished coughing and spluttering everywhere, we were served what can only be described as food consisting of falling out of a horses rectum. The worst food I’ve ever had the misfortune of eating. My grandad once had a pair of slippers which I think were in better condition than the fish and he’s been dead 30’year So if you wanting fish in batter aka tracing paper in batter this is the place for you, Can’t wait to be Covid positive in 5 days to. One last thing. £1.60 for gravy, which in itself is fine, if there was any gravy granules with the water served. Can’t wait to come back

Eating fish ‘n’ chips on Scarborough seafront 2 days before Christmas seemed surreal, but I’m glad they were from Winking Willie’s! A very good price and served steaming 🔥

Had been in this place previously and it wasn’t a good experience everything let it down but called in because it was raining and so glad we did. This place has totally transformed. On entering it was the Xmas tree for me love the Xmas vibe the decor was really good it looked so much cleaner and inviting. Went to the bar a lovely girl there Chelsea served us with drinks and gave us an update on the place. We decided to eat there.. the food was cooked and presented really well. 2nd night as we were going to a concert at the spa and usually eat there we decided to eat at the carousel again we wasn’t disappointed. Chelsea again was behind the bar on her own but dealt with the queue amazingly quickly and so professional. The food again was excellent. 3rd night went there again to eat had the sharing dishes and again lovely. Sophie served the food and was behind the bar along with a guy Ben these people are so friendly but so professional at the same time. All the staff some I don’t know the names of but we’re always busy. The tables were cleared and everything was in order. Good selection of food and drinks clean place even down to the toilets. Will definitely visit again instead of bypassing it.

Lovely food in a relaxed atmosphere at reasonable prices. Friendly staff especially Chloe who is extremely pleasant and helpful. We regularly eat here and enjoy it every time.

Really enjoyed our lunch today at The Rosette. We were made to feel very welcome by Nikki who was a one man band, serving drinks, food, clearing tables and taking orders but kept smiling all the time. We had the 2 for 11.99 deal. The food was amazing for the price. I had lasagne, hot and very tasty with garlic bread. My friend had the gammon, egg, pineapple and chips, again hot ,tasty and nicely cooked. You get a choice of 5 different kind of chips. My friend had the apple pie (huge slice) and custard, cup of tea for me. We were very pleasantly surprised (after reading some reviews), will definitely visit again.

Carvery was very good plenty of meat & a big choice of vegetables also the staff are very welcoming & nothing was too much trouble spoke to John who was very nice will definitely go back again

We just had a y carvery each. Meat melted in the mouth and great selection of vegetables. Staff really friendly, the place is spacious and clean.
