Ordered cod & chips twice got haddock seating is so out dated the whole place needs doing up

Found this place by chance and was well impressed it's a lovely country pub not far from the coast my wife had the fish and chips I decided to have the gammon steak everything was cooked perfect and the chips were to die for give it a visit if your in the area

Un equipo tan amable nos dio la bienvenida al Scarborough Arms. Tuvimos la suerte de tener la oportunidad de comer allí en 2 noches separadas y todo nuestro grupo de 6 disfrutaron de una excelente comida en el pub. Cuenta con una buena selección de opciones de alimentos servidos de manera oportuna. El pub está en el borde de la ciudad en la ruta al castillo, así que un gran lugar para llamar.

NO RESERVES ESTE HOTEL He tomado mi dinero, pero creo que no está abierto y tenía que llegar mañana. hotels.com han dicho que mi hotel está en Hawes, con el mismo nombre! No estoy seguro de lo que está pasando. No puedo conseguir a nadie y hoteles.com ahora alegando que no pueden ayudar, visto en la revisión anterior hecho esto a otras parejas! Supuestamente esperando a que el Gerente apruebe mi reembolso, ¡se llama estafa y robo a la luz del día tomando su dinero! Los he reportado a la ASA así que veamos qué pasa!

Worst fish and chips I've ever had. Could taste nothing but beef dripping. £30 and most of it went in the bin.

I went for lunch with my son and baby granddaughter on Monday 23 October. The food was good Scampi & chips and Fish & Chips. Most impressive though was the welcome and service. A high chair was quickly brought out and we were offered a lovely table in front of the fire which was especially welcome as it was a cold damp day. Thank you to Julie,Michelle and Josh. We will be returning.

Called here on way from Whitby to Scarborough, as after 4 wasn’t sure where open . Found this by chance , two lovely Sunday roasts and desserts . Staff excellent too .

Popped in here for breakfast before heading home. Lovely welcome for a first visit, Connor explained how everything worked. They had a great selection of drinks, tea, herbal tea, coffee, juice , muffins, toast, crumpets, and pastries. I think they had everything covered. We ordered two vegan/vegetarian breakfasts and two full English. It was great to see that the veggie and meat options were on different sections, so there was no cross contamination. I thought this was very thoughtful. The food was very good, especially the mushrooms. We will definitely visit again and can highly recommend.

Poor customer service. Staff looked stressed even if there were a lot of tables empty. We wanted to order dessert which was on the menu and on the board on the wall but the waitress said they can't serve desserts, only mains because they were too busy.

Me and my wife often enjoy the value menus, but on this occasion we tried your new pizzas they were really nice and not badly priced for a sit down restaurant

Plenty of outdoor seating in a pleasant location even though its situated next to a (minor) road. Staff were friendly and ham and cheese toastie was lovely although the side salad was a little small. Plenty of cakes on show inside but they don't offer...

Good value for money and really tasty food I would recommend this place and friendly staff really to help you

We were seated upstairs and waited 20 minutes before I had to ask if I could order. We ordered and after another 20 minutes the next table was served before us even though they arrived and ordered after us. Staff watched us leave and no one bothered to approach us. Lots of staff/lots of chaos/no food.

We go Sundays to scalby manor for our carvery it's beautiful and warm friendly staff very good at what they do lovely and clean and the carvery is excellent hot and plenty of food eat as much as you want for a good price and the meat is so tender beautiful ❤️

HI we called for lunch and sat out side in the beer garden ,my wife had surf and turf, i had a mega mixed grill the young lady behind the bar was very polite ,she also served are food which arrived quickly , are meals were great ,sizzling hot ,credit to the chef , we had been to the sister pub in bridlington, and i must say my mixed grill was much better at the rosette ,will be returning again. If you have kids the beer garden is great safe and secure for them to play. WOULD RECOMMEND YOU TRY IT.
