The best restaurants in Scarborough Yorkshire and The Humber

Called in for lunch with my brother. It was a nice sunny day so we sat out in the large garden at the front of the cafe. I ordered quiche, chips and coleslaw and my brother had celery soup and a sandwich. We also had a large pot of tea which gave us about three cups each. Service was friendly and the food was well cooked and tasty. It must be a good cafe because there were many regular customers who obviously came often

I've passed this restaurant many times and I've always wanted to eat here: I got the chance due to a family birthday meal. The meal was delicious from start to finish, beautifully presented, with great customer service. Definitely recommended!

After plenty of research this place was the first meal we'd have in Scarborough After a long day driving. Unfortunately the large fish wasn't so large and a bit dry, more batter than fish. The chips were OK and the mushy peas were really tasty. I think paying over £20 for 2 was a bit pricey for what we got. The servers were really friendly and super polite.

Hemos pedido desde este establecimiento desde que abrió sus puertas. Siempre nos pareció que la comida era fantástica, el servicio de entrega genial y a buen precio con comida de calidad. En los últimos años, los precios se han colado hasta el punto en que es casi el doble del precio de otras comidas para llevar de la competencia de igual calidad. Habiendo añadido patatas fritas como extra cuando antes se incluían con las hamburguesas (casi todas las comidas para llevar incluyen patatas fritas) ya no vale la pena el precio a pesar de la calidad.

Great place for coffee and a bacon butty

Delightful stay. Cameron provides such a warm welcome and the breakfast was delicious. The room was warm, cosy and very clean with a super comfortable bed. The breakfast room and snug are lovely. The location, in the very heart of Staithes is great too. A wonderful time, thank you.

Pasamos una tarde muy agradable en este bar buen vino que fue un cambio agradable normalmente la mayoría de los lugares el vino es como el vinagre mi marido tenía un poco de cervezas buen ambiente también tenían deliciosos pasteles y café en oferta, así como la comida que volvimos al día siguiente para un café que era muy bueno agradable personal amable no estaba demasiado ocupado, pero creo que eso se debió a la panadería y cafetería enfrente dar definitivamente volver la próxima vez que estemos en Whitby

Servicio eficiente y eficiente en la hora pico de un sábado a la hora del almuerzo. No es ciencia de cohetes tener el número correcto de empleados que están comprometidos y sintonizados para lograrlo. ¡Oh! y por cierto, ¿he dicho que la comida era excelente? 👌#pucka

Great place can see why it’s busy. Food was brilliant and the staff were lovely. Would definitely recommend and return.

We first went for a meal here in November and really enjoyed it, so returned for my son’s 18th. Unfortunately it didn’t meet the same standards tonight. The table wasn’t ready as there was a group of people still eating over their allotted time, however it was soon sorted. The starter of calamari was a bit chewy and stuck together. I ordered the seafood pasta which I had eaten before however the sauce was watery and bland. My husband had the lemon sole which is over priced, £35 for a piece of fish mainly bone with one oyster and no accompaniment. We were done in within an hour. Not what we had planned for such a special occasion.

Stopped in motorhome for night. Very friendly staff food was amazing deffo will be going back

Full English for £13, poorly cooked bacon; rubbery. One piddly little sausage . Hash browns where good and thats it. Could have got better from a motorway van. Website advertising pancakes but not on menu. Very disappointed
