The best restaurants serving Chinese food in Scarborough Yorkshire and The Humber

Sadly for us this was our first and last time trying this place. The guy on the phone couldn’t understand me, once we collected the order our chips had been missed off, the food was totally bland and the salt and pepper chicken hadn’t even been near a chilli - just onions and chicken. I’ve been generous giving 3 stars.

No vayas allí, hemos estado varias veces y la calidad de la comida siempre fue buena, pero anoche la comida estaba fría, mala calidad. Lo primero que trajimos fue una botella de vino que estaba apagado, la segunda botella era más barato de los vinos que era igual de malo. El pato estaba frío y duro, el pollo bang bang también estaba frío, las albóndigas eran las peores que he tenido. El arroz también era solo Luke caliente, chow mien vegetal tampoco era bueno. No volveremos. Era muy caro para la comida muy pobre.

As a treat at the end of Mother's day, we ordered a take away. We placed & paid for our order online at 5.50pm, we were advised delivery would be within 45mins. At 7pm, we called & were told that the order was with the driver & out for delivery. 7.30pm we called back....this time we were told that the order hadn't even been started. We were told the would start it immediately & it would be with us by 8pm. One minute past 8pm we called & our number was passed to voice mail. We used a different phone which was answered straight away, & were told that the driver had just left. We cancelled the order & asked for a refund, the girl told us she couldn't do that & we need to ring back tomorrow & speak to the boss. I asked for the boss's name so I knew who to ask for. They dont give out names. I stated I need to know who I'm asking for, she told me she doesn't know it & I just need to ask for the boss. In other words, they can say that this 'boss' isn't available. I was also told to get off the line as she had other customers trying to get through. The order did arrive at 8.20pm, we refused it, we did film this refusal so it could not be denied. This has caused a bad end to a lovely mothers day & has delayed my daughter from getting home. Will never use again the only recommendation I give is, that you try somewhere else.

Tried several different chinese takeaways since we moved to Scarborough a few months ago and stumbled upon this place by accident after visiting silks next door one day. The food from here was by far the nicest of all the takeaways we've tried. Wish they were on just eat though, it's easier to order and pay via an app.

One of the best takeaway Chinese meals we have had in a long time. Arrived hot, delivery guy was very friendly and the food was delicious.

Siempre hemos pedido una comida para llevar de Benny's cuando hemos estado de vacaciones en Scarborough, así que hicimos lo mismo a través de Just Eat este año. Estábamos alojados en una granja en la cima de una colina, así que me pregunté si nuestra orden sería aceptada, pero lo fue. El repartidor estaba muy disgustado por tener que entregar en nuestra ubicación y fue extremadamente grosero sobre la distancia que había tenido que recorrer. Nuestra comida estaba bien, pero no estaba a la altura de los estándares habituales de Benny, así que probablemente no volveremos a utilizarlos, especialmente si volvemos a la misma ubicación.

Simple meals that are cooked whilst you wait or collected if you have phoned ahead. I go for chicken Cantonese style in a sweet and sour sauce. Sometimes with boiled rice, sometimes with chips. Same price to sit in, sometimes take away. They have a range from curries to my choice and everything in between. Chilled drinks in the fridge. No toilets. Seating for about a dozen folks. My meal cost £5 or £6.80 with two choices. Other offers available. Why not try it if you are not expecting Cordon Bleu.

Esto solo obtiene un 2 , porque estaban abiertos, tenían una página web para pedir y producían la comida a tiempo para recogerla. El pedido en línea requirió una llamada para verificarlo, ya que lanzó 2 confirmaciones, 1 correcta y 1 incorrecta. Sin embargo, en la llamada sabían de inmediato cuál era el problema. Conseguimos este de algunos sitios que identificaron las mejores conclusiones en Whitby. No estoy seguro de cómo entró este. Con reagrds a la comida tuvimos un entrante de mezcla, que aunque abundante estaba todo demasiado cocido y grasiento. La tostada de langostinos sabía grasienta, los rollitos de primavera se habían cocido demasiado hasta el punto de reventar y perder su relleno, las albóndigas de pollo demasiado cocidas y cuerdas. Para la alimentación tuvimos un fu joven especial, chow mein especial, chop suey especial y pollo katsu, con papas fritas y arroz frito con huevo. Todos los platos carecían de sabor y toda la carne y los langostinos estaban tristemente demasiado cocidos, hasta el punto de que estaban duros y cuerdas. Se suponía que el especial incluiría langostino real, y mientras había langostino, nunca habían visto rey. El fu joven fue el peor que he tenido, insípido y acuoso.
